- One bed was very bad - The room was too loud and hot (chambermaid switched off the air con) - Bath is very small - Breakfast was n
Flippo is such a nice person.
Although it was quiet during our stay. I still dont feel secure. I did not sleep well maybe because it was just a budgeted hotel. Wifi very slow.
- friendly staff - clean - good location
access to wifi
Perfect location, large room, nice staff, nice bathroom
when we arrived we had help with our bags. It was a quick check in, the room was clean and tidy.
There was some noise coming from the other room. The a.c was loud and too close to the bed.
It was cheap and clean. The crew who welcome us was helpful.
5 person room was too small. The price was including breakfast and we went there by imagining not an open buffet but at least tomato, a piece of cheese and bread as an average Turkish group. However, all we found was a small box of apple juice and a packet of croissant which you buy 30-40 cents from a supermarket. 5 croissant for 5 people, not more :)
Close to termini (main station) easy access to metro.
Was not a nice location, not many facilities, very noisy. Staff we not really around at all after check in. Luckily was only for one last night before travelling home.
This is a low cost accomodation, but very good in this category. Very clean, great staff. Near to the Roma Termini and metro station.
Noisy street during the night (traffic), but it is not their fault.
The staff is very good. Filippo is always attentive, very relaxed and friendly. The room is not bad and the beds are comfortable. wifi and tv with good signal.
Close to termini train station
It is not a hotel as stated on website. It is a very poor b&b. Pictures are deceiving. Toilet was actually IN the shower. Very hard to find on street. Left first thing in the morning.
The location was very good -- close to the main station and walking distance from attractions such as Collesium. The person looking after the place (Fillippo) was very helpful.
Clean, and 5 star location.
It is very minimal: staff with bad English (though probably nice, I just couldn't understand him), tiny room and a totally unprofessional atmosphere. Nevertheless, it was truly very clean and from that point I'm satisfied, I got what I payed for.
The place is real, close to Termini station.
No towels in room, uncomfortable beds. Questionable hygiene of rooms. Shady looking location.
Location very close to Termini station, very friendly & helpful staff, clean room. We really enjoyed our stay at Roma Balance and would recommend it to friends as a cheaper alternative to the much more expensive hotels.
We had been told Termini station can be a little seedy at night and also be careful of pick pockets. But we didn't encounter any problems at all except for getting a counterfeit €5 from a street stall so be weary.
close to termini station
not good for family old building no air condition no good neighborhood my room was toward main street and very noisy next time i will use a hotel instaed
It was the worst thing to happen for me on the entire trip. For the huge price I paid the accommodation was very bad nd did not confer to any facilities as promised on booking. Booking.com should refund my money.
Even though the location seemed to be in a run down area it was VERY close to everything we needed to get to.
Philipe was the only one who spoke English. We asked for breakfast to be given to us each evening because of our early mornings and only one night this was done. 6 people in our group did not get breakfast on their last morning.
Location, cleanliness, good bathroom
Small room for family, breakfast was poor. There is completely different room presented as a family room in the picture and description.
Good location, next to the termini.
This b&b is actually an apartment that was divided to few rooms. You can hear everyone around you. Beside that, the room wasn't so clean and looks very different than in the picture.
very clean with friendly staff.
wifi was a bit on and off but we were out most of the time anyway.
the staffs are friendly. the location is nearby the terminal train station 8 mins by walk
the room is extremely small with bad and old facilities. the wifi is poor enough! the breakfast is bad. we wanna storage our luggages, but we need to pay per person!!! so bad!!!
very hard to find no sign just name on door bell map not correct
Friendly staff and the Roma Balance is centrally located.
Very basic breakfast, a dark room with little light from the small window.
We had a triple room. The window in it was actually a door out to a patio area, but it was locked so the patio was not accessible. Because the room was toward to the back there was no street noise, although at times we did have rather noisy neighbors that we heard very well. There was a shared refrigerator in the main hall/room outside our room, which was nice, and the Wi-fi in our room worked pretty well for the most part.
Our room had a tiny bathroom without any soap. All we were provided with was a couple bottles of shampoo. Our cheap toilet seat was made entirely from plastic and kept coming off the toilet any time someone sat down. The breakfast included was minimal and consisted of two jam filled crescent rolls per person and a cup of coffee or tea. We don't drink either, and when we requested just some of the milk we were served cups of heated up boxed milk, which was pretty disgusting. As a warning, this hotel can also be difficult to find. It is not labeled from the outside. After you find the right door number, the only indication it is there is the hotel's name on the button to ring for them.
Good location. We had triple room and it was good size room for 3 adults for 2 - 3 nights. Will probably not stay longer.
Furniture was old and falling apart. The room need also painting. Room had window to the main street, which is extremely noisy. There is no aircon in the room, so cannot imagine to stay there in summer when you cannot open window even in the night due to the noise. B&B Staff - this was the weakest point of the stay. We had to ring many times before someone opened the door, even we arrived in one hour slot we have mentioned in reservation. Breakfast is served from 8 - 10am. First morning someone show up at 8:20 to ask what we want to drink. Breakfast was served in our room. After 10 - 15 mins we have received 6pc of pastry and 3 teas. It was fine, but for sure not delicious. We have asked this person if we can get breakfast next day at 8am as we are leaving for bus. By 8:30 no one shown up, so we left without breakfast and left the key in the room. I don’t consider this very professional. And finally the door to rooms are very thin, so you can hear absolutely everything from corridor – opening/closing the main flat door and noisy guests. The second night big group of guest arrived for accommodation at midnight. And they were super noisy for several hours. Wifi worked in the room, but very weak and slow. I will not recommend this place. Don’t expect B&B, this is more like hostel, without staff available in the place. We have stayed in many B&Bs around Italy and this was the worth.
