Value for money The b & b is in a residential building, so we cross ourselves with the neighbors at the entrance and in elavador. Is very cute. The lady who does the check in is very nice, explains just where we are in the city and shows us what he have near (metro, cafe where he takes breakfast, ect) I found very sympathetic tell us good restaurants, especially because we arrived late and had not yet dined. It is a quiet and residential area. Prices in this area are cheaper. It has a very good pizzeria across the street and an ice cream parlor expectable very close. The location is perfect. The breakfast is good. In services say they have luggage storage but does not work. The lady who did our check in, told us that the day of departure we could leave our bags in the room and then came back to get them. On the eve of our departure we talk to her again and she confirmed that 4pm was always someone there, so there was no problem. On the day of departure I had to come back just to get a jacket. It were 2pm and it was another lady there. She said that we have to take the bags because she already had finished work and was leaving. It was a big annoyance because we alredy hire the transfer and we have to wait two hours, sitting on the street with bags.

The place was amazing, very clean, comfortable, in very safe area. We stayed in the end of January, so in the night was a bit cold. But there was very well working heating, there is also a conditionair which would be helpful in summer time. To the metro station is 7 min, to the Vatican city - also. There is a lot of nice shops and restaurants close to the place. The breakfast was in the nice local coffee shop in the next building. I highly recommend to stay in this b&b.

Close to the Vatican. First of all, this can't be considered an hotel. They just rent some apartments in a building and put a table there to play the role of a "reception", but in the hole four days that we stayed there, we saw just the man that came to give us the keys. When we arrived, there wasn't anyone to receive us, so I called the number of the hotel. The man that answered the phone was very rude, and said that we had to wait for one our outside the building, because he would bring the keys. Then, when he came, he told me that the breakfast was in a bar near to the hotel, from 8 A.M. to 8 P.M. But for my surprise, the next day when I arrived at 2 P.M. at the bar it was closed. So I called him, and he said "oh, today is just until 12 A.M.", and didn't recognize his mistake. So, when I said that I wouldn't pay the taxes, he threatened me, telling me that he would call the police! Also the refrigerator wasn't working, and the room was really dark. It was a very bad experience.

My stay at Roman Holidays was awsome. The location was perfect and actually really easy to find. Hotel staff was really friendly. Upon arrival we got a map with all attractions and we got some usefull tips. The rooms were big enough, nicely decorated, and very clean. All and all I have nothing negative to say about our stay. Could've had better, and more pillows!!

Very nice interior design, very good amplasament close to Metro Ottaviano station line A(about 10 minutes),close to Vatican (you can go by foot),a quiet area,if you walk arround it is impossible not to find a restaurant where to eat. To dark in the room, may be they could do something more abut that, putting some additional lights.

It was not far from the centre of vatican city and a nice stroll. The room was excellent and clean and comfortable. Scaffolding on the outside of the building, breakfast was not available within the building as you had to go to a cafe around the corner. The cafe was lovely and friendly staff so not so bad if the Roman holiday staff had bothered to direct us! Had to ask other customers who were staying in the apartments where to go. Also be aware that there is noe a city tax on all rooms of €20 which the staff member did not explain and rudly told us we had to pay!!! An explabation would have been nice.

The hotel is just lovely. Rooms are very tastefully furbished and it's really classy especially considering the price. The staff is friendly and the room was immaculately clean. The location is convenient - when I was booking the hotel I read some reviwes and a couple people complained that it's far from the subway or Vatican - well, if you think this is far then you are an extremely lazy person and should start exercising instead of writing stupid things in reviews. The subway can be reached within 5-10 minutes walk, Vatican is about the same distance. Also people complained about noise from the street, there is absolutely no noise if you keep your windows shut which you can easily do as the AC works just fine. Everything was perfect during our stay, we felt very comfortable there, the staff was very friendly and we had a great time. When we go to Rome again there's no need to search for another hotel anymore as we know where we are staying now. The only thing I did not like that much was that we had to pay a 20 EUR fee for one hour late check in. I understand the reception is opened only until 10 PM and the receptionist needs to be compensated for the late night work but a fee of 20 EUR per hour seems a little too high. If we arrived around midnight which you sometimes can't avoid we would have to pay 40 EUR which almost equals the rate for one night. From that point of view the fee just seems relatively too high. But still despite this we would like to visit the hotel again.

Good location, 1 min walk to bus 70 stop (Piazza Risorgimento. Piazza Navona, Piazza Venezia, Piazza Republica), relatively large room, good airconditioning, thick curtains. Penalty applies if you check-in after 10 p.m. (20 euro), no 24 hours recepcion service. Lift cabin is extremley narrow (normal space for one person).

Everything was very nice. Received an email from hotel asking for the arrival time to ensure that someone was going to be there to receive us. The bedroom was very clean and exactly as shown in the pictures. The bathroom big enough. There is the metro and bus near, at about 5 minutes by feet. I visited all the city with metro, some points were only reachable by bus, and the bus stop was near from the hotel. Due to the building is an old one, the elevator is old, but does his job pretty fine.

We stayed in the building located in via Bu Meliana. Although the room was very small, it was clean and nice decorated, it had all the main facilities: tv, wifi , mini bar and safe. The bed was very big and comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. The cleaning staff came everyday. The location was ideal for visiting the Vatican. "Italian" breakfast was served in a nearby cafe, the staff at the cafe was also very friendly. The coffee was delicious and croissants wery very tasty as well! A/c worked properly. There was quite heavy traffic near the building at Via Bu Meliana and it was very noisy in the night while having the window opened. There were no international tv stations. We had to pay a little extra tax. The bathroom was rather small and not so nice as the room was, shower was very very small and there was an unpleasenent smell inside. We had to pay extra money for arriving after 22. Towels and bedclothes could have been changed more often..

The rooms were basic but clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, and their English was much better than they gave themselves credit for, and certainly much better than my Italian. The location was ideal for visiting the Vatican. The building relies on a small narrow elevator in the middle of the stairwell, typical of older European buildings, which might be of concern to travelers with limited physical mobility, but for us it worked just fine..
