The spacious room for our family was fantastic. Room was very clean and comfortable and the location of the hotel to explore the city was ideal. Lots of restaurants to eat in the evening were close by. Breakfast was poorly laid out and very crowded.

Location was great for walking to many of the historic attractions. Very nice breakfast with lots of choices. We had no cold water and had to take a scalding hot shower in 90 degree heat. Requested staff to take a look when we returned 4 hours later no one had. They sent someone up to the room with us and the cold was back on. The staff laughed like they thought we didn't know how to turn on the cold water. Very rude!

The room was very clean. The bathroom was very spacious! Buffet breakfast was excellent- the best we had in our 3 week stay in Italy. 5 minutes walk from termini train station and 2 different metro stations. We walked to almost all sights (about 20mins to colloseum, 20 mins to Spanish steps). Value for money was perfect- normally as students we would never look at anywhere above 2 stars but booking.com gave us the best price we could have hoped for and we were therefore able to end our holiday staying somewhere nice. Did not like paying 5€ per 2hours of wifi!! Also there was not an abundance of good restaurants in the area. Don't be out after midnight as there are a few dodgy people around. Before midnight is fine. Take earplugs- our room was fairly soundproof but I think rooms near the lift/stairs would be noisy. Hotel desk staff weren't the friendliest we have come across but we experienced that with all the Romans.

The location, the services and the breakfast were very good. The service from the people who were very very polite and willing to help us. I find it unacceptable to pay 10 euros for 6 hours of internet WiFi access nowadays. Internet is not charged by bandwidth usage so you could provide it as a free service! Instead of this, you charge in order to take as much as you can from the visitors. additionally it was very slow.

We liked very much the room decorated with nice cartains, and bathroom with good looking fittings. Very calm. Just a few minutes from Termini. Staff at Check in desk is friendly. Chinese staff in restaurant is not friendly. Must train them to welcome the guests with smiles and to say good morning to us.

We had a great experience on our first night in Rome. The Augusta Lucilla Palace was elegant and comfortable. It was quiet and located on a street with great food and fun. We chose this hotel near the train station because we were leaving the next morning. We were warned about staying near the train station but this hotel is a direct contradication to what we had heard about negative experiences in this area. Great experience! I do not have anything negative to say about this hotel and our experience.

we stayed at the hotel for four days from the 25th to the 29th of april andwe had a great time .we asked for a quaudrupleroom and were very pleased with what we got. i was nervour about booking hotels in rome as i had heard different reports from friens and also trip advisor reviews. after much web browsing at various hotels in rome we chose hotel augusta lucilla and we were very impressed. i would recommend it for its location, its cleaniness(wooden floors felt so clean) comfey beds the breakfast was typical contental so you knew what that entail which was ok i would hace liked some fresh fruit instead of the tinned variety but you cant have everything. A great holiday was have by us (2 Adults and 2 children) at the augusta lucilla ciao! review from dublin, ireland

Staff were excellent, pick up service from airport also could not be faulted. Triple room was booked, got a double and a sofa bed. Room was too small for three people. Bath leaked when the shower over it was used. No coffee or tea making facilities in the room. Breakfast was included but was awful, as bad as I have ever had anywhere.
