Hotel Romana Residence  

Hotel is centrally located and its cost is reasonable. The Metro station was a short walk away - 250m and trams passed in front of the Hotel in both directions. It is basically an upmarket b&b Hotel. Our room was really a suite and was comfortable. Our "suite" had abundant storage - built in wardrobes, drawers and hanging space.The bedroom overlooked the rear garden and was quiet at night compared with the front lounge which overlooked a busy street. .Breakfast (continental style) was excellent. Room was functional but showed signs of age - wear and tear. For example the tv in the lounge was not functioning while the tv in the bedroom was operational. The mini-refrigerator door didn't close easily. There were a number of light switches which did not seem to be connected to any lights.

Location is ok, 15 min walking up to the Dom. Nice room, with 2 bathroom(family room for 2 adults and 2 children).

-breakfast - in fact the service. At 9.00 a clock the eggs were finished. I asked for some eggs, no matter how were prepared. The answer was: finnito= finish.i have asked for water, and the same answer was received.... Another problem was with the bathrooms, with no windows and nothing for clear the air! Only possibility was to open the door and refresh the air by the bedroom

The air-conditioning didn't work corectly, bacause of the street noise one can sleep only with closed windows

Excellent location. Easy walk to the Cathedral and many of the attractions for tourist. A very short walk (half a block) to the subway station. Hotel arranged for us to met at the airport and the driver brought us to the hotel, we really appreciated this after a long flight from North America. The front desk staff always pleasant and helpful regardless of the questions we had. One of the best breakfasts ever.

Receptionist who checked me in was very impersonal and unwelcoming. And the airconditioning in my room (222) was barely working, room was quite warm. Wall of the room was very dirty.

the taps in the bathroom is broken and work bad! how could it be in the 4 stars hotel? the choice of the breakfast is poor. In my point of view this was not a 4 star hotel.

Very good value for money. 7 min walk to Duomo and 3 min till metro station. Attentive staff and very helpfull. The hotel itself delivers on promises. Shower placed not very convinietly (on the center of the wall) - this is the only disadvantage

This hotel was wonderful for our short trip to Milan. The rooms were much bigger and more modern than we expected in comparison to other European lodging facilities we have visited. The staff was friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. Their dining recommendations were exactly what we were looking for. Overall, we would definitely stay at this hotel again.

I don't really have any complaints except for the elevator being a little scary so we just used the stairs.
