The staff and the architecture.
The breakfast is very poor.
Everthing about the place.
Breakfast was poor compared to other 4 star hotels in italy even they charge you extra for a scrabbled egg plate!!
We were accommodated in an annex building a flat in the adjacent building converted to a hotel! And this part is reserved to all who book on booking .com
The hotel was good, the included breakfast was fair if you like a ham and cheese sandwich for breakfast.
I did not like that I was not able to take the room off of my credit card and pay cash when I got to the room. This has been an issue with booking.com in the past and I will not be utilizing the service again.
We really enjoyed our stay in Romanico, the furniture was stunning in our room, such as in the other parts of the hotel. Staff friendly and with good english. We are definately coming back. :)
Friendly staff who spoke very good English. Place clean comfortable and well located. Much better value for money than a comparable hotel anywhere in the uk let alone London would be.
The food was not that good and I regretted having booked an evening meal there which was expensive and really not very nice at all. Also we had paid a premium price for taxi pick up from the airport through the hotel which because the flight was greatly delayed did not happen. We had to make new arrangements ourselves. It seems to me that our flight could have been tracked etc. The hotel did not volunteer to refund the money we had already been charged for the service but did after I disputed this agree to bear the cost of transport back to the airport on departure. Finally the tourist tax and room charge were hidden extras which I do not recall being apparent when we booked. These negative comments notwithstanding it was overall a very nice holiday so I would simply advise eating elsewhere and making your own travel arrangements to and from the hotel.
position in the city
rooms were cold and located outside the hotel in a dirty and old building. Bathroom without heating. Rooms difficult to reach. The reservation was tricky because of "Dependance" hidden option. The bar in the room was blocked. Hit water late to arrive. Blankets too light. Wc dirty when we arrive. Rooms smelly because remained vlosed for long time.
location very good and staff very friendly
sometimes at breakfast staff took utensils away before we finished dining
the place to eat breakfast is very nice, and the employee there is warm
room is small
Roof terrace for breakfast
Staff was kind and willing to help.
Taking in consideration that is a 4 star hotel, I would expect more from it. Breakfast was poor (no eggs, ham only sometimes, etc), standard room can be translated as a small room, etc.
Friendly staff, rooms were decorated old Roman style (a bit cheesy but is OK if you're in the mood. Ok breakfast spread. Walking distance to main attractions.
wi - fi was spotty in the room - had to keep signing in.
