Providing a free shuttle service to/from the airport, and free Wi-Fi throughout, the Catania International Airport Hotel is just over half a mile from the beach and the airport.

the arabic contempary layout.
Decor needs updating, not much but needs it
Nice, quiet, tranquil
No kettle and possibilities for tea brake in the room
Staff helpful and rooms comfortable. Excellent bathrooms. The wifi was free, but it kept going in and out. Nice pool.
Very far from main part of city and their shuttle bus only goes once or twice a day. Good location if you want to be near the airport, but not otherwise. Wifi patchy.
It is a good stop off place either on landing or departing from Catania airport. It is quiet and comfortable.
Amusingly kitsch Italian take on an Indian high range hotel.
An empty car park. The only access is by a route manned by a valet. He insists that we let him park our rental car. When we politely explain that we aren't insured for him to drive the car, he is rude to us. On our parking the car he demanded that we left the keys. Remember the car park was 30% full, we weren't doubled parked, he'd seen this and therefore he would only need the keys of anyone that parked behind us (though the car park was never full). We thought it was just that valet, but the valet on the next shift did the same thing. It appears to be management policy. Never had a similar experience in other hotels, including those with a better claim to be 5 star than this.
Friendly service Good food Nice facilities
The WiFi The staff was friendly Secure parking
No hotel beach entrance Public entrance beach filthy To expensive for the overall service and area No restaurants in the near neighborhood Don't sell it as a 5star hotel, 3 to 4 stars maybe
Easy to find. Well located for touring. Staff outstanding and as pleasant and helpful as ever I have met. (100k per year traveller), Hotel clean in lovely grounds, rooms well cleaned. Decor quirky but interesting.
High bar prices A car is a necessity with this hotel for touring
great amenities professional staff good swiming pool nice bar good breakfast on the top floor good parking the whole place looks beautiful in the sun
to far from both the city and the beach. you have to cross a busy road to get to the beach, so we stayed by the swimming pool you have to drive everywhere so if you don't come by car you are stuck in the hotel. bathroom not miantained on 5* level
fairly quiet good swimming pool good for an overnight stay befor or after arrival
the food location
Nice bell man and groom/no problem for really early checking/garden/pool
Noisy room (like sleeping in a boat!) because of boilers on the roof making vibration, leaks through the climatisation. Rooms are too tiny. Worst 5* I ve been in for now, even 4* were much better. The beach in front is public, next for NH hotel, swimming pool closed at 19pm. Airport shuttle is 20€ for 4kms, 1 bus each 50mins only. Not so much restaurant around. On top of that, the hotel charged us more that decided with booking (booking price +5€ magically added +5€ wity tax). Free Wifi didn t reach our room neither. Awful night
The room was cheap on a day where our flight had been cancelled to Venice. The pool was good and in the sunshine with music playing. The hotel was 10 minute walk to a supermarket so good if you don't fancy paying extortionate prices in the restaurant
Poor/no wi-fi coverage in rooms Air con unit not working - took staff ~5-6 hour to get someone to our room to check and when he did - he did not attempt to fix it and just went back downstairs. Cheapest item on restaurant menu was €15 for pasta and sauce so went to the bar and €14 for two ham and cheese toasties. The room was no better than a 2-3 star airport hotel which we stayed in before flying to Italy. Balcony was nice but shower very poor - when on it angled itself into the wall and therefore not easy to shower in.
Clean, friendly staff and good breakfast
Needs a refresh - dated style and rooms
-Not bad Swimming pool, -Near to the Airport -Free parking
-Indifferent staff -No doormen Service, which is extremely strange for a 5* Hotel. -Parking gates were broken for 3 days, it was extremely hard to Exit the parking driving around Hotel territory; reception was absolutely ignorant for this Problem. -Acces only to a dirty public beach - Breakfast didn't math even 4* requirements - In the fridge of our room was left a spoiled sandwich from previos guest
We chose this hotel because it was close to Catania airport. Staff were helpful, room was comfortable & breakfast was excellent.
nice and big hotel, very close to the airport
unfortunately we could not sleep very well, the room was noisy. and it was crazy that the water boiler was just over us. too bad.
Beautiful hotel, good pool area with plenty of loungers, spacious bedrooms with balconies. Secure parking. Used restaurants over the road alongside beach.
Bit far from town, but a bus is provided once a day in the evening.
Space, layout, décor, ambience and service.
The pool and access to the beach club. The staff at breakfast were also great - very smiley and helpful.
This is not a 5 star hotel - or at least not now. It may have been once, but that glamour has long since faded and the entire hotel could do with a refresh. Also, the shuttle times for travel into Catania were ludicrous - it ran so infrequently there seemed to be little point in having it. The restaurant was nice, but really expensive, I would rather spend my money on a taxi to Catania (because there is no shuttle in the evenings) - more variety and much better value.
The secluded and extensive gardens were, indeed, really beautiful and the large pool "sheer heaven". Breakfast was generous and varied and the staff very attentive but the cakes proved far too much of a temptation!
There was intermittent noise from the hotel's air-conditioning unit during the night and our particular room was affected. The staff at Reception were not helpful and unwilling to understand that we actually wanted to travel by public transport in order to see "everyday life" in Sicily. The large and airy restaurant was closed in June and the bar was deserted and therefore lacking in atmosphere despite the hotel ,apparently, being full.
Location was close to the beach and the airport.
Hotel is very dated and needs refurbishing. Must have been nice in its day. Also the website says there is a shuttle to the airport but it has been discontinued.
I am a very fussy customer. I travel all over the world, so I write this honestly and with very high standards. The staff at your hotel are excellent. The hotel design especially the outdoor areas are excellent and well maintained. The room cleaning service was excellent, with all the staff saying hello to passing guests. Well done everyone!!
Slightly remote location. Early closure of shuttle into city. It should run later into the night. No free shuttle to airport, which one would normally expect from a 5 star hotel.
Pool is very good size and quiet
Restaurant staff are very poor service at the restaurant was terrible and the bar is not consistent because one day you get a good drink the next day a horrible one also had 2 nights without air conditioning during the night and the airconditioning temperature is controlled by the reception so you cannot have a cool room
We found the staff very friendly, helpful and courteous.
We had an issue regarding the cleanliness of the room. This was resolved following contact with your Office.
