Location is great, very close to colosseum, forum romanum. Close to underground too. Nice design of the room. Room wasn't very big but we like it. We will stay here again!
Heating was too hot :) but okay. Flushing of the toilet a bit noisy :)
The location was excellent.
This is a very modest hotel. Although the room was clean, it smelled of sewage (bad pipes). the decor is also a bit old fashioned.
My daughter had a fall going down the stairs and broke her arm and the hotel owners did nothing about it .
The location was excellent, close to most of the historical sights and within easy walking distance to everything. I stayed in both a top floor balcony and double room and both of them were clean and comfortable. Personally I preferred the double room for the extra space but the balcony would be lovely in warmer months. The staff were helpful and friendly. I would recommend this hotel to my friends and family.
Does not provide a breakfast option.
location was good
internet was very poor
Location, friendly staff, toilet w bottom washing facility, cleanliness
Had to go down a flight of steps with luggage to reach the room
Excellent location and Santo at reception is so helpful, cheery and always smiling. The Romano has been refurbished since my last stay and the room was beautiful. we had a superior double which had a balcony with a view of Roman Forum and Vittorio Emmanuelle III. Excellent. Lots of restaurants and cafes nearby and within walking distance of most of the landmarks. Colosseo metro station just around the corner. Loved it!!
View from balcony of room Beautiful room Superb location Helpful staff
Location was exceptional. Room had balcony which was ideal to relax with bottle of good wine. Good choice of restaurants. Especially Mario. Great value for money.
There was nothing we did not like.
Near the Colosseum and Forum, and not far from the Pantheon, either.
Nearby restaurants are overpriced and underwhelming. For the "happening" areas at night, you need to look elsewhere, but walking and public transport are easy in Rome.
Friendly and courtseous staff
Elevator ( lift ) too small, the heater didn't work properly.
Clean, good location
Can't control airconditioning, can be hot during summer
Location of the hotel was excellent. Not far and very safe didn't have a problem walking around Rome or the area. Stayed In a superior double street noise wasn't a problem. It is a city. Mini bar was a nice extra and prices were not over the top. Definitely would stay at the hotel, ticked all the boxes. We walked from termini station took 25 minutes.
I had miss fortune that room that I booked was out of order. Very good place if you want to be near all happenings.
Would have liked a bathtub.
Excellent location. Clean and comfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Plenty of places to eat and drink right on your door step.
Tea and coffee making facilities in the room would be a good idea.
Location is great - walked everywhere except taking one bus to Vatican Good cafe/ tabacchi next door/ infront for breakfast, postcards, stamps. bus tickets, ice cream etc etc.
The staff were great, very helpful, the hotel was so close to all the must do's. We enjoyed our stay very much
The room was perhaps a little small but nothing too challenging
Good wifi, great location, near resteraunts and bars
Room was a little functional and not as nice as the photos on this site (which is understandable as not all rooms are the same).
Perfect location for several historic sites...close to several restaurants. The staff was amazing...Santos was extremely helpful...
Poor internet connection
Helpful staff, great location
Great location. Nice restaurants and cafes directly in front of the hotel. Nice and quiet, despite the location right at the intersection of Via Cavour and Via de Fori.
TV channels had nothing in English: no CNN or BBC. One minor issue was that the elevator drops you off 1/2 floor away from where your room is. If you are carrying a lot of baggage or have trouble moving around, then you'll have to climb or go down 1 half flight of stairs. This was not a problem for me.
Mostly you would think that staying this close to the Colloseum you are paying for the location...not at all! In this hotel location is fantastic but so is the hotel, staff and everything else!
location staff helpful small but cozy single bed room
Everything that was promised worked well. We liked the staff, the location was better than expected, and it was very good value.
