Location is great - walked everywhere except taking one bus to Vatican Good cafe/ tabacchi next door/ infront for breakfast, postcards, stamps. bus tickets, ice cream etc etc.
The staff were great, very helpful, the hotel was so close to all the must do's. We enjoyed our stay very much
The room was perhaps a little small but nothing too challenging
Perfect location for several historic sites...close to several restaurants. The staff was amazing...Santos was extremely helpful...
Poor internet connection
Helpful staff, great location
Great location. Nice restaurants and cafes directly in front of the hotel. Nice and quiet, despite the location right at the intersection of Via Cavour and Via de Fori.
TV channels had nothing in English: no CNN or BBC. One minor issue was that the elevator drops you off 1/2 floor away from where your room is. If you are carrying a lot of baggage or have trouble moving around, then you'll have to climb or go down 1 half flight of stairs. This was not a problem for me.
Mostly you would think that staying this close to the Colloseum you are paying for the location...not at all! In this hotel location is fantastic but so is the hotel, staff and everything else!
location staff helpful small but cozy single bed room
Everything that was promised worked well. We liked the staff, the location was better than expected, and it was very good value.
I think the hotel is in general very nice, it is just that I had a terrible (single) room. The location is great - right beside the forum in a lively area of Rome. I didn't realize I would get a room effectively without a window. I am glad I only stayed one night. But I must say the staff were friendly and the fact the hotel doesn't offer breakfast is not a problem as there is a cafe right beside.
The single room I was given was a broom cupboard with a small frosted high up window which turned out to be right beside the roof terrace breakfast area of a neighboring hotel. I was woken up at 5am by people chatting there, where I could hear every single word as if they were in my room. I could also hear the room next door quiet clearly in the evening (although it may also have bee the terrace, now I think about it). So I didn't really get a good nights sleep. I also couldn't figure out how to adjust or simply turn off the air conditioning.
The location, the convenience, the restaurants downstairs, and the staff were so helpful.
Very nice place, most Thinge are within walking distance, closed to metro station, a lot of restaurants and bars in this area (and there are not only tourists but also lokal people). Nice rooms, clean, perfect place... Will stay there again! Staff is very friendly too!
Location is great for Colosseum & Forum. Close to buses. Reception staff were very helpful. Balcony had a great view.
Great location.. very near the Roman Forum, Piazza Venezia and the Colloseum
Single room is very small...
Location near a Metro station.
The room pictures posted on the net are not the same as the real one. The room was actually a two by two meters. Like a crave
It's in the right part of Colosseu. Everything is close: all the forums and piazza Venezia. You can see Victorio Emanuele 2 monument from the room balcony (if you get the room with the balcony as I did :)) And if you take the bus in the left of Victorio Emanuele building for 10 min you can also visit Vatican which was really nice. Really enjoyed mu time there. Rome is magical
Good location, big and comfortable room, very clean
The shower could be bigger
Very helpfull personel, more than could be expected from a two-star hotel. I would upgrade the hotel to a three-star rating.
There is one single-room, narrow, noisy and WITHOUT A WINDOW. !!! Avoid it by all means....
The staff was very friendly and helpful. We felt comfortable asking them any questions and were always happy with their recommendation for restaurants. The rooms are very nice for the price and the location is ideal!
The only thing I can say is that connecting to the wifi on my iPhone was difficult. My husband easily connected on his android and then had to spend a long time figuring out why my iPhone wouldn't connect! Once we got it, the connection was good!
location is great, staffs are very helpful. room is clean, nicely decorated.
wifi is not working sometimes, bathroom small and poor air circulation
Location, friendly staff, clean
noise at night but it was good when windows were shut
Near to Foro Romano.
We had a Wi-Fi problem and couldn't be solved at all night.
The front staff was very friendly, very informative and were available 24hr. I was travelling solo and they were very comforting of all my needs. Would recommend to friends and family. Great location.
The wifi was poor really!
The location was 2nd to none - it was perfect. The staff were very nice & very friendly. The receptionists were all helpful but especially Daniel (I hope I have his name right)who gave me excellent advice re trips & tickets.
WiFi was very hit & miss.
-Amazing location -Everything doable on foot -Friendly 24/7 staff -Price seems fine as far as I know -Wifi -Looks nice inside -Drawbacks are very minor
-No breakfast possible, though otherwise you would be paying for it included in the room price, I didn't mind much, though I would've appreciated it. -Rooms are tiny, though if you're in rome for a short period, you'll want to see a lot and that won't matter since you'll only be in it for sleeping, they're comfortable and look good enough. Even if I was in rome longer it wouldn't have bothered me much.
