Hotel Serena is set within walking distance of Termini Train Station, which is just around the corner. The area offers many typical restaurants.
Score from 1527 reviews Very good
Residence Candia is a 4 minute walk from Cipro Metro Station. It offers self-catering apartments with satellite TV and a kitchenette. The Vatican Museums are less than a quarter mile away.
Score from 768 reviews Very good
Just 650 ft from Re di Roma Metro, this modern hotel is in Rome’s San Giovanni area. It has an elegant lounge, free Wi-Fi, and air conditioned rooms with satellite LCD TVs.
Score from 743 reviews Excellent
Cardinal Hotel St. Peter is one mile from the Vatican, and offers views of Saint Peter's Basilica from most rooms and its summer panoramic terrace with hot tubs.
Score from 982 reviews Good
Very hard to find. The taxi driver had to ask a hotel nearby. The 3 rooms r within a private block of apartments.someone has turned their apartment into 3 bedrooms. The reception area is in the hall as well as the breakfast area. All very strange..
Room is very decent size with all the amenity you needed. Staff is so welcoming and friendly; although they speak limited English, they are so willing to help and make our stay as convenient as possible. We even printed out our boarding passes and bus tickets using their computer and printer. I would highly recommend people to stay there. We would definitely return and stay for even longer duration next time in Rome.
Great breakfast, friendly & helpful staff, very clean, & close to bus and train lines.
Problem with wrong password given us for email and trouble reaching our contact person.
They serve excellent breakfast. Enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Owner and staff are kind and take care of what they are doing.
great location, just 2 metro stops from the Colosseum. Very clean, and tidy. Breakfast was included, and pretty good. Wifi easy to use. Just 30 minutes on train from airport, and 5 minutes walk to train station. Staff very friendly and helpful. Access to a shared kitchen with fridge and coffee maker.
Our room overlooked the train line, and was very noisy. Although we did get used to it. There was also a factory or something behind, which was noisy, although thankfully, only during the week. Take ear plugs. Perhaps some of the rooms don't have this problem. Not very easy to find, although the owner can come and meet you.
everything is perfect
The location of the B&B was absolutely perfect, close to the train station for the airport and also the metro station for easy access to the main attractions in Rome. Very friendly and available staff. Rooms were simple but very clean and safe. We enjoyed the breakfast and internet availability. The area has many restaurants and cafes and the B&B staff had recommended a couple of nice places, off the touristy paths. This B&B is great value for money as Rome's hotels tend to be overpriced for what is offered. You won't be disappointed booking at RomAntica B&B.
It's really hard to find negatives for this B&B.
too much dust….
The room was clean, and the AC worked.
The B&B was really a unit in an apartment complex that was gated and had bars on the windows. It did not feel safe, and the neighborhood had graffiti on many of the walls. We would not return. The breakfast was not good.
Safety, good location, comfortable environment
I really liked this B&B mostly because of the privacy it offers. You can keep your own keys and make yourself a meal in their kitchen. Most of the staff doesn't speak English, but they were helpful and gentle with us all the time. Many people complain about this being inside a building with no reception and stuff, but the owner sent us an e-mail asking for arrival time and we didn't have a problem with check-in. Breakfast here was absolutely wonderful in comparison to other hotels we stayed at. I certainly recommend!
It's perfect option if you are looking for value for money, well connected to metro station and rail station. Very friendly staff ready to help at any time.
this was the loveliest B&B we stayed in! I have never felt so at home:) this hotel is a couple of minutes away from the train station and the metro and also there is a bus that takes you directly to the vatican city! As for the rooms they are so cozy and warm the furniture are so nice and the bathroom too! the room is very clean tidy and comfortable and has everything you need to feel at home! the breakfast area is also cozy and the breakfast is delicious! we stayed two days so we had the opportunity to meet two ladies that were serving breakfast and they were both very nice and sweet! the gentlemen greeting us were also nice so in general i would recommend anyone who wants to enjoy rome and feel at home to book at this hotel! I thank all the staff for making our visit so lovely!
The crew was great, the breakfast, the room, the location everything was great!!!!
there are two or three rooms in this person's apartment. You need to meet the owner to get the keys-by 8 p.m. I went to sleep at 11 and at 12:30 the other people came in and woke me up because they were talking loudly and had the TV on. In the morning, the lady owner was making breakfast at about 7:30 a.m. and that woke me up. So, lots of noise potential. The drain in the shower was very slow.
very clean room. good location. A Common kitchen include a refrigerator.
poor breakfast-only a coffee with a Croissant or a small Sandwich in a Cafe down the street.
The best B&B hotel we'd stay in Italy. Great location, 5 min walk to metro (Piramide) and train (Roma Ostiense and Porto S. Paolo) stations. Bus N23 to Vatican, N83 to Villa Borgese, N30 to EUR, tram N3 almost to Piazza del Popolo. Very clean room, comfortable beds, a bathroom with massage cabine. Good free Wi-Fi. Absolutely the best italian breakfast and very friendly and helpfull staff - manager Adriano and the girls. Highly recommended!
There is a very small sign of the B&B at the apartments entrance. We were assisted by some neighbors of the B&B to locate the B&B apartment from 4-5 buildings. Unfortunately, there are at least 2 parts of the B&B in different buildings. A guest of the B&B made a call to inform the owner to take us to the right building. We would like to express our sincere gratitude for their assistance.
Location close to railway and metro stations. There are a good selection of restaurants in the area.Nice residential area that is not noisy. Rome centre can be easily reached on foot, only 20 mins to the Coliseum. The bed is very comfortable. Breakfast although a little too sweet for the British taste is adequate and nicely served by a very friendly lady. Plenty of wardrobe space and hangers.
This property was once an apartment in a residential block, it is now three bedrooms with a small kitchen and breakfast area. The walls are thin, as they are in most hotels. As guests know they are in close proximity to other guests they tend to be respectful and keep noise to a minimum and abide by the house rules. We were disturbed a lot less here than we tend to be in an hotel. No banging of doors or people taking showers very early in the morning.Although in a residential block the people were all very respectful and friendly.Checking in can be a slight issue as it is necessary to contact the owner on arrival. We would stay here again ,far more positives than negatives.
We stayed there 2 nights. Guests may check in at anytime as deal with the owner and inform him to come and open the front gate and bring you up. B&B RomAntica Home is a 2 rooms apartment and a dining room with kitchen, on the 6th floor. The owner and his staff do not live there, so, try the front gate key when the owner is with you, to be sure that it works well. The owner provided the easiest and quickest way to and from Vatican is to take Bus 23, stops under the railway bridge, 100 metres from the B&B. Nice decorated, clean and comfort bedroom and ensuite bathroom is spotless cleaned. WIFI works well. The owner gave us coupons to get breakfast at the Babylon cafe, near by the bus stop. It is a good restaurant with nice staffs. An automatic coffee maker with instant coffee and milk also available in his apartment.
The hosts are really nice. Just perfect place to for city trip. Very comfortable.
We were delighted with this small, nice and cozy hotel! Everything was great: charming attentive hostess, well designed and nicely furnished room, clean and modern bathroom (even with a washing machine) and free Wi-Fi. The breakfast was excellent with good coffee, great bread and choice of meats and cheeses plus fruits, delicious pastries, cereal, yogurts etc. Good location: 3-5 minutes to bus and tram stops, 5-7 minutes walk to metro station Piramide, train stations Roma Ostiense (about 40 min to airport Fiumucino) and Roma Porto S.Paolo (30-40 min to Lido Ostia on the seashore). Would definitely recommend!
Rooms are new and very nice decorated, it was the best ever place I tried in Rome, best choice for the money I spent.
very nice room, we stayed at triple room. the room was clean and the facilities were great. there was a washing machine, even we didn't need it at that time. the room was spacey. ensuite bathroom (also spacey), "tons" of soaps, and big and small towels for three of us. location was nice too, 8 minutes to nearby train station. checkin was fast, and breakfasts were good, we stayed for 2 nights and really enjoyed our time. some candies in our room, that's a plus!
you really need to contact the owner/manager of this hotel ahead of your coming, because they won't standby at this hotel all day, except at breakfast time (i guess), but still you need to contact before could get in. there was no sign of hotel's name at the gate, or street.
B&B is the flat divided into three rooms, colose to train and metro stations, close to bus stops, staying includes breakfast serving, there are several small and good trattorias in the neighborhood, very clean room, excellent value for money
Only one thing that annoys that every noise (neighbours, service lady and etc.) can be heard quite well. But every evening we were so tired that fall asleep despite of any noise outside the room.
