Set along Via Veneto just 390 ft from Barberini Metro Station, this luxurious hotel is housed in a historic building featuring a rooftop terrace with views of Porta Pinciana and Villa Borghese.
Score from 219 reviews Very good
Really enjoyed the hotel immensely. The room was stellar, and I liked being up in the hills above Rome overlooking the city. The staff was attentive and friendly, and there's even a Pillow Menu (!) for hotel guests to find the perfect pillow for sleeping. LOVED the shampoo/conditioner as well, which was Ferragamo. I HIGHLY recommend you include breakfast in your rate, as it was the best spread of any of the hotels we visited.
WiFi is only free in the lobby (costs extra per night to get it in your room), and you have to pay to use the pool. You also have to pay to use the spa and the tennis courts, but that isn't a surprise. Also, if you don't get lucky they may put you in a front-facing room with a pretty lame view of a giant antenna.
It was expensive for a family of 4 (additional cost for room on arrival) but it is an exceptionally nice hotel, and super professional staff everywhere.
There was nothing I did not like about it.
Staff were so helpful. Amenities perfect. Location was lovely- view amazing. Booked Imperial room - amazing value for money.
We loved all. The room excellent.. Location location excellent. The shuttle bus was a bonus... we asked for a king bed so you were gracious enough to accommodate us to a nice upgraded room which was phenomenal & it included the lounge very special lounge which we loved more than the restraunt.Thank you so very much. We were at your hotel for our honeymoon in 2006 and came back to celebrate 8 years later and loved it even more.. Thank you...
the great space ouside, the swimmingpool and the spa, the balcony in each room, the great staff
the airconditioning was just a little noisy and the bed too soft. Thus even if the hotel is very calm in the night, the quality of the sleep is not excellent
The view from the bedroom. We upgraded to a Deluxe which gave us a nice seating area but also excellent views towards Rome. Able to see "the Weddlng Cake", if the trees were topped a little there would be a better view of the Vatican. the beds were very comfortable and them sheets and pillow cases changed daily. The bathroom good as it had both shower and bath. Plenty of toiletries. The Breakfasts were excellent with a varied choice. The shuttle bus was very handy although finishing at 1.30- until 3-30 in the afternoon and then 9pm sometimes was an inconvenience. The public rooms in the Hotel are very comfortable.
Having to pay for sun beds. Also having to pay for the spa pool, gym. The cost of drinks was exorbitant. Which resulted in quiet bar Areas. The early finish of the shuttle bus.
The location, better to say - the view.
Nobody care when you arrive, nobody take the suitcase from the car. Nobody care to up the suitcase into the car when you leave. :( Admiral lounge - they cant check you out - the printer doesnt work - it's bad!
The spacious room and view!
it is under construction
Swimmingpool Good food Staff Best pool beds ever!
You have to pay extra for EVERYTHING (pool beds, gym) No reservation possible for the shuttlebus so you have to be early otherwise it's full... Location
I stayed here for 2 times now.The rooms are great, especially the bed. Very spacious. It's clean and has a cosy balcony. Also the service from the staff, they really give you a good stay and welcoming. Drinks at the bar are quite expensive, but you can expect it in such hotel. 18 euros a cocktail, 11 euros a glass of wine.
That you have to pay for your pillow on the sunbeds on the swimming pool like 20 euro for each pillow. It should be included.. If you don't take the pillow, your sunbeds are not comfortable and you have to lay in the backside. They really should change this!
We had a large luxurious room, quiet and clean. Don't miss the terrace floor with its beautiful view of rome from above. The food in the hotel's resturant is good but very expensive.
The bar, the rooms, the views, the staff and the food. We loved our stay here.
The shuttle was always very busy. They should run more frequently. We really didn't like ..... Going home.
Large room, hotel decoration, swimming pool, fantastic breakfast
The room is a bit expensive, but having to pay extra €18 daily for the pool is another story.
Can't believe that after spending so much on a room for a special occasion, we were told that we couldn't use a lounger round the pool unless we paid €36.
The location and the bathroom/ beds
The service The staff No personal touch and even after having spent so much, they refused to bat an eyelid at our situation
Hotel was superb. My older children loved it. Couldn't have asked for more.
There was nothing to dislike.
Yes, the hotel is out of the city centre, but with a free shuttle bus this is no hard ship. The staff are amazing. The hotel was amazing. The room was amazing.
Nothing. I love every minute. If I had to pick something it would be the charge of €18 a day to use the sunbeds
Bedroom was excellent Staff helpful Cuisine was good
Not central to Rome Paying for sun loungers Limited free WiFi
The view if you have a room facing the city of Rome The excellent breakfast The pool The vast room
The exorbitant charges for access to wifi in a 5 star hotel The supplement charges for the chairs at the pool (why not simply adding the 18 Euros to the room price as no one would question it) The location which requires to take a taxi or to queue up for the hourly navette with only 29 seats
The beds were amazing
No wifi in rooms except if you pay for it
We loved everything about this superb hotel. It is luxurious, has huge rooms, a beautiful pool and surrounding gardens, fantastic buffet breakfast, with very helpful staff and excellent service. It is certainly the place to stay when visiting Rome, made all the more convenient by the frequent free shuttle bus available to take you from the hotel into the centre of Rome, and then back.
Could not fault it !!
Not once the whole day did anyone come to us and ask if we wanted a drink or food. We had to keep going to the bar and getting our own drinks, not a problem but considering as guests you still have to pay €18 to sit by the pool and still charged €6.50 for a small bottle of water and €11 for a bottle of beer.
