Surrounded by landscaped grounds, Sheraton Parco De' Medici Hotel features a 27-hole golf course and an outdoor pool. It is 6 miles from Fiumicino Airport and a 5-minute drive from Rome's A90 beltway....

Right next to the Vatican City and a 10-minute walk from Saint Peter's Square, Starhotels Michelangelo Rome has rooms with classic decoration and air conditioning.
Score from 2155 reviews Excellent
It is like a museum but with an epic view over the City.
You need a car, taxi or a shuttle bus to the centre.
The staff were very kind and helpful and acted in a very professional manner, the rooms are as big as promised and comfortable as well with a balcony, what I like the most was the lounge on the 7th floor where they serve free beverages and snacks all day from early morning till 11pm with free high speed internet(only in the lounge and the lobby), and the staff were at service when required. There are several shops on the ground floor.
-No free wifi in rooms! I still find it odd in now days for hotels with very high reputation and standards and still not provide free wifi for the guests ! -The wifi in the room costs 25€, an outrageous price for one day wifi and for only 3 devices (note that we were 3 in one room)! -The location might be an issue for some, it is approximately 15min drive to the city and 5-10min driver to the Vatican city.
From the moment we checked in service and staff very friendly and helpful.Room was excellent with a beautiful view of Rome.Hotel facilities were excelent.
Should have been free Wi FI in the rooms.
beautiful view over Rome and comfortable rooms. short trip to centre of Rome but far enough out of the city to relax.
Beautiful art in the hotel.
Far away from Rome's main attractions. The hotel was dated and the price were high reflecting location.
We had such a wonderful stay: comfort, cleanliness, facilities, staff: great.
Internet costs €25 a day in the room!
pretty hotel lobby, Rome view rooms have a great view, bus shuttle is very pleasant
- only 1 bathrobe in room (not only in our room) - room service took old towels and didn't bring new ones (we found out late in the evening) - early request (water boiler to make tea or coffee for pregnant wife) was not considered at all - early request for a few fruits in the room was not considered at all - no free wifi (24EUR fee per day for the wifi is ridiculous!) - Room decoration partially damaged - fitness center and spa cost 20EUR per day - people at reception are nice but not service oriented - always felt like a have to beg for service
Everything I liked it's the best
Location- way up the hill, not accessible by foot, need to take taxi everytime which can be very expensive. Shuttle service doesn't stop by the Vatican. Wifi not free in the room considering the high price tag.
the broken old bed the service missing towels in the bathroom excessively expensive for any addition (8 euro small cappuccino???) 10 euro room service on a 30 euro salad ? 25 euro mediocre breakfast
On your first trip to Rome, by all means stay in the heart of the city. On your second trip, do yourself a favour and book here. A shuttle bus sorts out the distance from the centre and the hotel is worth it
When u walk into the lobby, you are taken back it's beautiful. The ambiance the chandeliers everything takes your breath away. The staff was right there when u needed them. We sat by the pool ( even though is was cool) ordered drinks and appetizers. The room was so beautiful w nice balcony.
The location wasn't as close as some of the other hotels.
Helpfulness of staff Good suite Great garden Great lobby
Location is little far from center
From the moment of arrival, the staff helped me make the most of my time at the hotel. Everything was exemplary, including the room service and I will certainly be coming back again in the future
everything especially Roberto from the restorant who was very kind and help us a lot The shuttle driver is a unique person and other staff are nice and kind
We stayed here last week. The King size rooms are quite big & come with a nice balcony. The view of the city was spectacular. The staff was nice too. The only issue is the distance from the city/airport etc..so you end up taking taxi for everything. They have their free shuttle, which run on every halfhour & then every hour from Barberini. There are 2 restaurants out of which the rooftop- i was told has to be booked months in advance. So that leaves with only 1 choice which does not have a big menu. The hotel is also in a area where we didn't see any other restaurants. But on the 2nd day, i just googled and found a local pizzeria at less than 1km walking distance using the steps.
Distance to everything. No free wifi in the rooms.
definitely not a good choice for those who travel with kids
Beautiful view of Rome. Very luxurious.
Location -- taxis or hotel shuttle required to go anywhere. Too expensive. There were charges on our bill for the minibar that we did not use.
Everything except no fee wifi and coffee
Should offer free coffee and free internet for the price paid.
Far from central rome
Clean rooms, large room and large bathroom, great climate control, the people that clean the rooms are the best ! the shuttle driver Max was also the best.
In room beverages prices are insulting 8 euro for a small bottle of water ,one bottle should be given per day to each guest its the little things that can make you better, they charged/blocked my credit card for over 450.00 dollars at check in which I was not informed about , in case I use the pool or spa etc. its ok to have my cc# on file put don't put a hold on 450.00 + dollars, what you saying is you don't trust your guest another insult, also the cost of breakfast is way overpriced I would not stay here again for these reasons
location, service, food, pretty much every thing else
A little bit pricey but you get what you pay for. Only thing is the outside pool shuts at 7pm could be a bit later
The shuttle schedule; I think they should extend it to longer hours in the evenings, make it available in the airport and make it available every hour; I also didn't like the fact that there was no free internet access in the rooms
