Offering a terrace overlooking Rome’s roof tops, Hotel Torino is located only 220 yards from Termini Train Station and Repubblica Metro Station. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel.
Score from 1025 reviews Good
Federica's Home is in central Rome. It features modern rooms in a historic building 165 ft from Vittorio Emanuele Metro, and a large apartment a 10-minute walk away. Wi-Fi is free in both locations.

The room was very hot
The location is very near to metro station and quite near to central bus routes. Free wi-fi was very convenient
Only the very basic amenities are provided
If you travel to visit the Vatican area and nearby hot-spots, I couldn't recommend a better location. Rooms are basic but spotless, the staff is very polite and helpful. Wireless easily accessible and fast. Some street noise - depending on your room location - can be shut off thanks to a very good isolation of the windows. The breakfast is the typically Italian sweet breakfast - the espresso coffee is excellent. A perfect place to stay is you travel on budget, are not too demanding regarding your room, and wish to walk to S. Peter's square while staying in a very nice Roman district.
Some poor isolation among confining rooms made me waking up very early. However, it's a minor - and quite common - implication of sleeping in a hotel.
The location was good, being so close to The Vatican and not too far to walk to Piazza Del Popolo.
The facilities were disappointing, the walls were very dirty, the shower had barely any pressure and changed temperature constantly with little hot water (in the middle of winter). It felt quite unclean, many of the hostels I've stayed in have been cleaner and had better facilities.
Clean Location Kitchen Clothes washing machine
Poor staff facilities The kitchen and boiler is shared The shower is not hot any time
near Metro Station, Kitchen
Rooms need renovation.
Outstandingly good value, superb location very close to a metro station and within easy walking distance of the Vatican and Piazza del Popolo, free wi-fi and a surprisingly large and comfortable room.
Let's be honest - this is a very, very unusual little place that is very unlike any hotel or even hostel I've ever stayed in. There is no reception, so if you don't have a phone capable of making international calls (like us), then you'll just have to chance someone letting you into the building, going up to the seventh floor and ringing the doorbell. In our case, one of the other guests opened the door and had no idea who we were or if we should come in! It's a pretty spacious room with a small TV and a good bathroom - though the shower is outside, wedged between the bathroom and the window! Everything is a bit run down - half the light bulbs are blown, the shower doors fall off, the bin lid has fallen off and the TV takes a bit of getting used to. But you're considering booking this place because it's so, so much cheaper than everywhere else, it's in a fantastic location and it's perfect for a short, non-fancy stay. If you treat it as a small step up from hostel, you may even be surprised at how good it is.
Reasonable price (as for location close to center of Rome)
Room in standard flat. Good for 1 night only. In my case good to wait for the flight next morning.
Near the metro station.big room.
They donot offer shower gel , and we didn't take ours neither.
I liked location, a few metres from metro. The single room is in minimal style but it is enought to relax and bathroom is rather big. Trere is a big good kitchen. Guesthouse is situated near river and not far from Villa Borgese, so I had opportunity to walk in nice places.
The best thing about Locanda del Vaticano was the kitchen facilities. To be able to cook your own meals is great when travelling on a small budget. The owner was very friendly and I felt very safe in the apartment. Being in a residential block meant that security was very good and you didn't stand out as tourists. The building was in a great location as only a 20 minute walk to both the Vatican City and Piazza del Popolo. It was also only 100m from a metro stop! All in all, I couldn't fault my stay here.
Location was very good. 5 min walk from metro station and 15-20 min walk to Vatican city, or one metro stop. about 15mins from the Termini station by metro
I had to call prior to checking in time. still had a 30min wait before I could check in
I really enjoyed my stay at Locando, i felt at home. It was very clean, peaceful and quiet neighborhood. It was not just too far away to most tourist sites, and metro station was just around the corner.Kitchen was good as you can cook whatever you like.
Room 1 shower doors need to be changed as its very narrow and its a struggle to close and open the door. The lady cleaner/ the one that assigns the room need to be able to say even a word in english. It was very difficult to communicate.Good for maybe 2-3days maximum stay as there was no change of bedsheets, towels or even supply of toiletries. No reception too.
