very clean, modern, good location, friendly staff
only sweet breakfast, shower was not practical
The location and the room furniture and design
Didn't like the fact that reception was both on check in and check out attended only by housekeeper who for any question had to call the receptionist or owner on the phone. The shower was big, nice design but completely useless. The water pressure was extremely low, the water after the first shower cold and there was a big leak on the head shower on the side, more a burst of water than a leak. All of this room in room 1, maybe other rooms are better than this.
breakfast in room
the window is very small, the room next to the street is too noiseful.
The room looked very nice and was very clean. Breakfast is brought every morning to your room. The staff is quite friendly and accomodating.
That's a small hotel (with approx. 6 rooms), very nice decorated. The staff is great and helpful. There is a good restaurant with the local food just a few steps from the hotel. There is a kettle, tea and coffee in the room. I also received a plate of fruits. On the web they write that the nearest metro station is "Policlinico", but the station named "Castro Pretorio" is nearer. It's even possible to walk from "Termini" station.
The acoustics is really bad. The breakfast is Italian, very sweet :)
Modern and clean, quiet and comfortable
It didn't look like a hotel from the outside but the name is on the buzzer
quiet and safe place really close to Termini, clean rooms, friendly and helpfull staff, confortable bed. Definitely recommended.
very nice staff, clean, well and modernly equipped, just 5 minutes walk from Termini in a quiet neighborhood
Central location, ideal for a short city trip. Personal is very friendly and helpful. Breakfast served in the room. Nice restaurants within walking distance. All in all very good value for money!
The fridge was a bit noisy, but we could unplug it at night and then it was ok.
I really liked the modern style of the room and the furnishings. It was a large room by European standards and had a modern, well-equipped bathroom. The property has 2 or 3 concierges, and they were very nice and helpful, and were sweet as I tried my Italian out on them and it came out more like Spanish haha. Their English was very good and they subtly used it when I couldn't make myself understood in Italian. Rome is a very easy city to get lost in, and Mathias took a lot of time showing me sights and directions on the Rome Street map they provided. One of the concierges actually walked back to the hotel to open the door for me, though I had my key. So nice! The breakfast provider/cleaning woman had little English but always managed to be helpful regardless. Tea items were provided in the room, which had an electric pot for making coffee or tea, and when uncertain of my early schedule and so unable to select a time for breakfast delivery to my room, a pass for a light breakfast at the cafe two doors away was gladly given. The room had a very nice window with views across a tiny outdoor space of the next quaint building and its balconies and flower boxes. Charming! I would happily stay there again.
In Europe, residences and hotels make wise use of small real estate and The Rome Key Home is no exception. The central hallway to the rooms is very narrow and outside of the rooms, there is really no place to sit or congregate. Small sacrifice for a great room close to the main train station. The restaurant staff at the establishment next door, whom the hotel recommends, are not at all nice or accommodating, and they take great pains to avoid serving you. Not the fault of the Rome Key Home at all, but, though the pasta is indeed good, (when they finally give in and seat you and take your order) as a hotel/bed and breakfast, I would think twice about recommending that restaurant or giving the appearance of any connection with their business. The people at the Rome Key Home are too good at what they do, and far too nice to be associated with this restaurant...
Good and clean room, friendly staff and close to the train station.
Breakfast is served at the room and is mainly sweet pastry.
nice new place, clean, helpful staff, located next to termini station, easy to get to city center by metro or bus. recommending to all !!!
all were fine, reccoment to every body.
Location Room design Cleanliness Staff
Breakfast didn't have any option for people who don't eat sweet things. Kettle, tea & coffee in room but no milk!! Only these silly little things, everything else great.
Had a conference at the University of Rome and the position of the hotel was just perfect, ten minutes walking from Termini, less than ten minutes from the University, five minutes from metro B. Rooms were new and well furnished, breakfast is served in the room, which is always nice.
Shower had some minor problems.
Paulo is a good man and the cleaner is very good. Good location 7 minute walk to the back entrance of termini. Breakfast in bed too! We left our bags after checking out and they had left them in a new room for us to sort oureselves out. Great staff!
No iron available and shower flooded a bit. Walls are very very thin. It`s like a student halls of residence. Beds not comfortable. But overall its in the middle ground. Some places are awful others well overpriced but this was perfect compromise in terms of location too!
Wonderful and cosy apartament, close to Termini station, only a 5 minute walk. Nearby caffe and restaurant with smaller prices that downtown. For sure if I return to Rome this year I will stay here again. Enjoy Rome.... It's an amazing city
We loved everything about this place. The staff are extremely helpful and the rooms are spacious and very clean!
Newly renovated. Very close to the Termini station, but still a quiet location. In the other direction (San Lorenzo) you can also find cheaper restaurants close by.
good location at just 10 minutes walk to Termini station, helpful staff, very big and well decorated room, not very noisy street, welcome wine and kettle-and-tea-bags... the breakfast was just a bit boring
breakfast so simple
Nice room interior, very helpfull receptionist
Our room was clean, comfortable and beautifully furnished. Proximity to Station Termini was handy for arrival/departures of trains. The staff were very friendly and spoke English which was a great help to us. We would recommend this accommodatin to all.
Close to the two main train stations in Rome - Tiburtina and Termini.
The beds were not the most comfortable and the shower head was broken.
Perfect location, and safeClose to mainstation, and busstop.
Trascontaner outside, not ther fall, but still stink
Great location, easily walkable to the main train station. The rooms were very clean and updated. The staff were very helpful and responsive to our questions.
The walls are very thin so light sleepers may have a difficult time. We used our white noise app on our phone to help drown out noise from the hallway and other rooms.
