Just over a quarter mile from Muratella Train Station, for trains to Rome city center and Fiumicino Airport, Holiday Inn Rome is in the city's business district.

As always Marriott Hotels are of high quality.
Hotel was far away from Rome, public transport, La Fiera (exhibition center). Enough staff, but very inefficient: long lines, long wait at the bar....
Facilities Bed and the pillow were fantastic The hotel was very clean
Location - terrible 12EUR for WiFi per 24 hours Service was poor - mainly due to insufficient staff numbers, rather than poor staff work ethic Drinks at the bar were very expensive Breakfast was not included and was 27EUR. When the food is just OK, I felt 27EUR was expensive
Hotel was in the middle of nowhere which was nice for tranquillity, hotel staff were very nice and décor was beautiful.
The spa was closed! there was a lack of variety in meals in the restaurant department, prices did not reflect the quality of service and product.
Comfortable beds nice pool area
-Different prices on pool restaurant and restaurant - the service of the staff( i go to the restaurant at 09:45 and they tell me i cannot eat becuse chef said that the restaurant closed at 10:00 ) for 25 euro breakfast has not have too many food and also many things, for a Marriott you are the worst
Spacious rooms, great lobby service.
Airconditioning both in room and conference center, got a nasty flu.
Location for airport
€10.00 per person to use the spa pool - it was too cold for the free outdoor pool. €15.00 to park the car overnight - unreasonable on an out of town hotel with a huge car park on site. €15.00 for the fold away bed - I booked a room for 3 and there were only beds for 2...........that's not right! Drinks were city centre prices but small measures in comparison. Food was good but should be for the prices charged. All in all I do not feel this hotel was good value for money and had the general feel of a transit hotel.
Great location and very helpful
Very nice spa with indoor small pool with warm water, very relaxing. Great fitness center, open 24 h. Breakfast till late at weekend (11am). We are vegan and the choice was quite difficult, but staff did all their best to suit us. Nice outside pool. Room was excellent. Location is a minus, but compared to price and quality I definitely liked the hotel.
Wifi costs additional 12euro per day, only free at lobby. Spa costs 10€/person. No kettle in the room (even for hot water you have to ask. Biggest problem is location. If you dont have a car every taxi to center is 30-40 euro, to airport fumicino fix price 30 euro, to castel romano 40 euro fix price. There is a shuttle bus from hotel to center 3 or 4 times a day.
Loved everything. Absolutely perfect!
The only thing I am dissapointed is that the hotel was too far from the city and the shuttle service was only until 23.00' plus there was no hotel bus from Ciampino airport. That means that you had to pay 50 euros for ride either to the airport or to the city.
great place for business travelers very clean one of those places where air crew staff are staying.
~40 min. driving time from the tourist center
Away from the shopping
The lobby and its ambiance is excellent. Classical music surrounds all over the lobby and heals everyone in this lobby. Rooms are lean but elegant.
Shuttle bus service from/to center is per 2 hours. If this service can be per hour, it will be very perfect to use.
to far at Centre Rome no metro
I liked the courtesy of the desk staff and of the floor maids. The room was very nice and facing the swimming pool. The level of cleanliness was excellent. This hotel is a good choice if you have your own car (taxi from Rome center to the Marriott is pretty expensive, around €40) and it is particularly convenient for those who need to reach Fiumicino airport ( about 20 minutes drive )
The mattress was somewhat awkward and it did not promote a sound sleep. They charge € 12 for car parking and the same amount for wired internet access from the room ( free access in the lobby ) plus € 10 to use the spa and on top of that € 27 for breakfast! The total sum is a hefty € 61 additional charge!!!
The room with beautiful view Nice furnitures and 2 bathrooms. Room service was great for the food too . I had the hotel's shuttle pick up me fat the airport and I went to visit Rome with the shuttle round trip for only 10 euros. Everything was great and will go back at this hotel again .
Although my company paid everything, i don't like expensive hotels.115 euro per night and i had to pay extra for internet, extra for the parking, extra for the breakfast. The signal in my room (3125) wasn't strong enough.
The staff were very friendly and the food was delicious
Queues at checkin and checkout Wifi not included Breakfast prices obscene
All is extra and for charge - no wifi
This hotel really has it all, if you need a hotel close to Fiumicino airport. It is ideal in many ways. It features an impressive lobby, lounge, restaurant and outdoor terrace as well as full service spa, great outdoor pool and deck as well as really comfortable and well appointed rooms. The restaurant served up really tasty food, the most delicious spaghetti pomodoro I had during our 3 week trip to all areas of Italy! We stayed at the hotel for one night (we got married that day in Rome!) and needed to stay near the airport as our flight to Spain for our honeymoon departed early the next morning. As soon as the hotel found out we had just been married they instantly upgraded us to a beautiful suite and sent us champaign and dessert and even a congratulatory card! The service was amazing. The room was beautiful and we enjoyed time at the pool in the morning before our departure. The hotel offers an affordable shuttle to the airport (8min trip) for 6 Euros each.
The hotel car be hard to find and you really need to consult a map before heading there. It is far from central Rome, so I would recommend picking a hotel in the centre of the city if your trip is about seeing and exploring Rome. The pool didn't open until 10 am so if you want to swim before checkout it can be a bit of a rush.
