The shower was ok. The hair dryer was ok. The reception Asian boy was friendly.
The aircondition was weak. It had economy setting on which I tried go override because we were very cold. It's not comfortable because its small room. (It looks like we was living in a shared small apartment). The elevator was too small and old.
Good location, very close to the termini station. Friendly staff, nice room on the 5th floor. Strong wifi signal.
Pin-point location in Rome, friendly staff, clean and quiet rooms many thanks for the hospitality.
The location was very nice. Just to inform you that if you have chosen two separate beds then the actual address is not VIA DEL CASTRO PRETORIO 28 but Via Palestro 44. It's next to the Yellow bar. The room is clean. The Wifi is good.
The stuff doesn't speak English fluently.
room is clean
The elevator is small and terrible!
the servise of the staff
Very good location, near by Termini. Clean room and bathroom. Very nice staff. Free wi-fi! The breakfast was in coffee bar. It was great! Thanks
Everything was OK
The location was good for how close it was to the train station
The sign was awful we passed the hotel 4 times.
Location was central. Access to tour bus, metro, train and taxi was so easy. Lots of restaurants around the area.
We did not like that access to our room was directly in the main check in area. We could hear the conversations of others while in our room and we are fairly certain that they could hear ours. A bit awkward at times.
- clean. - fair price. - comfortable. - great location (5 min from Termini Station - lots of restaurants in the area) - breakfast is at a cafe-bar near the hotel. They served a great Italian capuccino with croissant.
- could have a sign indicating where the hotel are.
Very closer to the Train Station
Visible and Large Name Board is needed
Door leading to our room broke. Had to spend an entire evening and night in a different room without any of our stuff. Staff refused to compensate us with any discount or money back. Also the building we stayed in, was not the one we had an address to, so we had to find our way, with heavy bags and in boiling heat to the wrong building, only to have to walk again to a different building. Would not recommend.
Location. very friendly staff. cozy room.
We had booked a single room for 4 people but when we arrived at the hotel the manager gave us two rooms instead of one at no extra charge! The staff were very pleasant and welcoming and the rooms were very clean. The hotel was right next to the central terminus so it was very easy to get around and there are plenty of good restaurants around if you don't want to go far to get a bite to eat.
The listing said the rooms would include air-conditioning but there wasn't any - however even in the middle of July a fan was more than enough for us to sleep comfortably. The hotel isn't very clearly displayed when you get to the building as it is part of a block of apartments however we were able to find it with relative ease with the aid of the map and pictures posted on the hotel's listing.
location is very good, across to the Termini station. it is a nice, small, clean hotel.
we didn't have a/c in our room, only fan.
Tutto ok :-)
Toilet seat a little bit cracked but generally ok
Very clean, nice rooms. Nice staff
quite noisy as there was a bar on the first floor
The room looked way better than in the pictures. It was clean and quiet with a ceiling fan and A/C, both very efficient. The staff was very helpful.
Immediately after arriving at Via del Castro Pretorio, 28 (which turned out not to be the proper address of the hotel) we were approached by the owner who asked us to wait for him to collect the reservation papers from his office. After several minutes he came back and handed us to another staff who guided us to the right place located nearby. If this is their standard procedure, I would suggest to change it because it spoils the overall good impression.
Everything about this hotel is good value for money and location. As we did not spend a lot of time in the hotel room this was fine for us. Staff were helpful, nothing wrong. Good aircon for the Roman summer, and there is a lift though small it is to be expected in a heritage building. Location is the key in booking this hotel as it is close to the termini.
Bathroom is very basic so no soaps etc provided, but as this was a budget hotel it did not bother us. There is a bit of room noise next door but this is to be expected.
Proximity to public transport, accomodation was great, WiFi reception was excellent. There are also some great places to eat literally around the corner. Bathroom facilities are new and everything is exceptionally clean.
Breakfast was a deal with the local coffee shop downstairs which offered a coffee with a croissant only. Access to the 5th floor is via either stairs or a tiny elevator (recommended capacity of 3 people) which was obviously retrofitted into the old building.
Location was very easy to be found (5 minutes from termini station). The stuff was very kind and helpfull. The room was really comfortable for a couple. Highly recomended.
The staff gave us free breakfast for one room as a compliment.
Firstly, there was nobody in the apartment when we arrived and there was only a phone number and we had not buy a phone card yet so we could not reach them. After waiting in front of the building for half an hour, we asked the neighbouring families in the same building to help calling them to pick us up. Secondly, I made two bookings for me and my friends and we were both being walked to another place to stay. It was very difficult for us to move from one place to another as we have a lot of luggages and they said they would help but they only send 2 staff to help while we were a group of 6 people. So, that actually didn't help.
Good location. Clean.
