Location, cleanliness, hospitality & décor all fantastic.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Besides, the location is most centric.
Staff very friendly and warm. Clean and nice room.
Breakfast was really not good. Got the feeling of being hustled out of wifi usage. The staff had Internet connection but neither us nor other guests staying at that same time could connect during the entire time we were there although free wifi was promised. Had we known, we would have chosen other accommodation.
Claudio and Natalia are great hosts. We feel like at home. In the middle of many tourist attractions. Although in a noidy street we slept very well, no noise at all.
Very good location, best staff i have met, special thanks to Hotel manager Mrs. Natasha, for her special hospitality and kindness. We recommend this hotel to anyone!
First of all the location is wonderful. Just right around the corner from the Spanish steps and Via Condotti. That section of Rome has it all, from high-end fashion boutiques to souvenir shops to cafes to gelaterias to roasted chestnut vendors to great restaurants. Then there were the hosts. Natasha and Claudio were incredible. Traveling with my parents, and my 4 yr. old daughter they were accommodating, understanding, sweet, helpful and fun. My parents chatted with them for an hour. Natasha and Claudio should have their own show. They gave us tips on where to eat, where not to eat, and how to roam Rome. On the day we left they even walked us out to wish a boun viaggio. I actually miss them.
The only thing it's lacking, in my opinion, is an actual view from the windows in the room and substantial sunlight. But with a few keys, to get you in and out, and a real old-school elevator ride, Rome is all yours.
Excellent location, very helpful staff and clean room
Breakfast needs to be improved or removed from the room charge
The room was great
They only had 5 rooms with little to no backup.
We were extremely pleased with this hotel. Natasha was fantastic and because the hotel can be a little difficult to find on the side street, she was waiting in the main plaza of the Spanish steps for our taxi to arrive from the airport and walked us to the hotel. There was a small plumbing problem with one of our rooms (we booked two rooms) that Natasha noticed. When we arrived, she had already arranged for a room in a nearby hotel, walked us there, and then the following morning, retrieved our luggage and returned us to the original room (she worked to have the plumbing issue fixed overnight). The staff was friendly and extremely helpful. The location is also convenient to many Rome attractions. I highly recommend this hotel.
The location is unbeatable, just a step from Spanish steps. It was absolutely quiet at night which is not common in the center if Rome where there is always a lot of noise. The owner is a very helpful and nice person and she does everything to make you happy during your stay. Some people say here there is no wifi but you just need sometimes to reboot the router - and it works fast with no problems at all.
the room was a bit too dark and you can always hear when other guests are coming -though this is not very boring.
nice place and nice owners, you feel home
My daughter and I changed hotel to Rome 55 and were absolutely delighted. It is opposite the Spanish Steps so very central to all the popular tourist sites and shopping. the staff were superb, so friendly and helpful without being intrusive. Our room was beautifully and tastefully decorated and the bathroom a beautiful surprise - spacious and once again well decorated with neutral coloured marble tiles. Havibg access to a lift was an added bonus.
There was nothing to dislike!
Location was perfect, the rooms were impecably clean, the staff was very helpful and the owners are always around making sure all their visitors are happy, they are beautiful people, very proud of their hotel and the service they provide.
we realy like the hospitality the staff are warm and caring people they took care for every thing we needed we will recommend this hotel to all of our friends that will arrive to rome
very friendly owners, extremely helpful. great location, literally two buildings from Spanish Steps.
Location and hospitality and friendliness of owner
All was to my satisfaction
Very nice Russian owner Natalia and her husband.
The stafff was the FRIENDLIEST i have ever come across. Always willing to help you out and improve their services. The location was absolutely incredible too - you could not ask better than being a 1 minute walk from the Spanish steps, and surrounded by Rome's excellent shopping (both high end and casual). The trevi fountain and other landmarks were also within walking distances. Breakfast was simple (your choice of a croissant or a sandwich and a drink) but their croissants are freshly baked and delicious and their sandwiches are too. I definitely recommend this to anyone coming to rome!
Not the most modern facilities although the owner did mention plans to renovate the place in November (2013). But even this wasn't bad enough to make you not want to stay in the hotel. I loved everything about the place.
Rooms are big as compared to other hotels on the same location. Located on Spanish steps. All high end designer shops are few steps away. Main shopping street is few meters away. Rooms are very comforting. Cafe Greco (oldest cafe in town since 1760) is next to the hotel. Welcoming staff. Super clean and all food places are nearby.
The hotel sent us an email day before offering a pickup from the airport, at the car rental drop off location. The driver was extremely prompt and took us right to the hotel door where the hotel owners waited for us to welcome us into the room and helped with the luggage. We were "carried over" the hustle and bustle of the eternal city, which, when arriving, is very important. The owners were always there to assist in any way they could. The hotel location was excellent for what we expected and like.
The most important and good thing is the location, it is next to the Piazza de Spagna which is near everything, I strongly recommend this Hotel to all whom need to be in the heart of Rome. The Staff was very friendly, When I visit Rome again I will choose this Hotel. We were a family and it was suitable for us.
Excellent location close to good shopping, many restaurants, taxis, metro and things to see. The owners and staff bent over backwards to be helpful. The room was small but nice.
The room had no telephone. The hotel was made up of 5 rooms on the 3rd floor of this building. You required 3 keys to unlock 3 different doors (including the street door) to get into your room. The entrance way into the building was in deplorable condition. The first time we entered the building, we both wondered what we had gotten ourselves into. A good coat of paint would go a long ways to correcting the problem.
Most of all we definitely liked the location! You can reach ALL sightseeng places by foot. It is a very safe area and you can stay out till very late. Although there are always a lot of people on the Spanish staircase it is very quiet in the hotel room, the furniture is nice and modern, all necessary equipment available and the staff is very friendly and always at your service. Thanks a lot and we are definitely cominng back to stay in this hotel and will strongly recommend our friends to do the same!
Lovely room, comfortable well located. Owners and staff very helpful but only available at certain times.
Tea and coffee making facilities sparce. No breakfast room - Croissants provided in papers bags to eact in room. Street works continuing throughout stay - had to walk through sand and cemen or across boards. No indication on building that premises exisyed.
