Room 4 Rome B&B Risorgimento

Location right next to the Vatican, and also connected well via the Red Metro in Rome. Lively real morning atmosphere in the apartment complex where this room is.

Its not easily possible to contact someone here if you need something immediately - because the way it works is - it is an apartment within a complex, thus no reception or anything. Which was ok for us though.

We had a lovely stay at the Room 4 Rome apartments. We had room 2 which over looked the Court Yard. The room was very clean and staff very friendly. It was amazingly close to the Vatican and a metro station was just around the corner. Our shower was fantastic just right after a long day exploring the city. We had a Italian style breakfast which was enough to get us going. It is not your full english breakfast but we didnt go to Rome to get that. We had no problem with the Wi Fi. Taxis are just outside the building. A lovely restaurant just along the road from the apartment and a fantastic gellato kiosk on the main road. A fair price for a lovely room right by the Vatican. If you are a light sleeper like me then ear plugs are a good investment as a water pump just outside of our window, we were shown the room on the road side but that had a lot of traffic noise. With windows shut and ear plugs in place and loads of walking during the day I slept well. Would definitely stay here again.

The location of the B&B was excellent we had easy access to metro, Vatican city, banks, local restaurants and shopping... Having an elevator was a big bonus !

Having the city view did come at a cost with noise of the street and there was no one to monitor the noise level of the other vacationers .

The bathroom had mold around the toilet basin on the wall and on the ceiling above the shower.

My wife and I were really surprised and pleased with what we got. It was room with the private bathroom in a large apartment in the very center of the Rome, and our room had window with view of the St. Peter's Basilica (not all rooms has that view though; we had room #3 as far as I remember). It was like if my friend advised me his friend's flat to stay in: very good feeling. Very nice room. As some wrote - narrow shower - indeed, but was quite enough place for me. Other wrote about meager breakfast - also true for those who used to have something substantial in the early morning. I got coffee (very good one btw), croissant, jam, butter and crackers - quite enough to start a day. Air conditioning worked very fine, which was important as it was about +35C these days. My recommends 100%, and if I ever come to Rome again - I'll book this particular room if it will be available.

The location is just near the Vatican. So near bus termini. Restaurants all over the area. I will definitely recommend this to a friend.

La posizione: vicinissimo al Vaticano e a pochi minuti a piedi dalla fermata della metropolitana, con cui si raggiunge velocemente il centro. Zona ben servita anche dal punto di vista della ristorazione e dello shopping. Le dotazioni di servizi: TV, frigo, connessione Wi - fi, aria condizionata. La cortesia del personale. Stupenda la vista sulla cupola di San Pietro!

La stanza che affaccia su Piazza del Risorgimento, trovandosi in una zona molto trafficata, è un po' rumorosa, pur essendo al sesto piano.

La posizione è ottimale, centralissimo e molto facile da raggiungere. Fermata del taxi e capolina autobus proprio di fronte al palazzo. Personale accogliente.

La camera che ci è stata assegnata, la nr. 1 non è adeguata ad essere una camera per ospiti. Si trova proprio sull'ingresso che è un punto di passaggio ed è molto piccola. Il bagno è piccolissimo e vi sono condizionatori e ventilatori vari che fanno rumore. La prima notte ci abbiamo messo un bel po prima di addormentarci. Inoltre non vi è insonorizzazione, per cui qualsiasi persona passa, chiude il portone o dice qualsiasi cosa si sente tutto per non parlare del personale che prepara le colazioni proprio li a fianco alle 11 di sera. Se mai dovessi tornare spero di avere un'altra stanza, quella non la voglio di sicuro! Non abbiamo avuto modo di provare la colazione in quanto il secondo giorno ci siamo alzati molto tardi e il giorno in cui siamo partiti siamo andati via prestissimo per cui non possiamo dare un giudizio.

Sehr gut gelegen - nahe Vatikan. Taxi, Bus und Metro in unmittelbarer nähe. Freundliche und zuvorkommende Gastgeber.

Das Bad hatte leichten Schimmel in den Ecken. Zimmer war etwas laut.

the personnel was great - very warm and polite, Marcella made coffee every morning with breakfast to the room which we enjoyed very much. The location just outside the walls of Vatican and only a few minutes from Ottaviano metro station was just perfect - also the walk from the hotel to the city center across the river was not long. For the price the accommodation had all we needed.

Abbastanza vecchiotto ma pulito. Colazione pressoché inesistente benché compresa nel prezzo

Assenza di presenza costante di personale, bagno con doccia microscopico.no servizio bagagli.

Posizione ottimale, tutto è facilmente raggiungibile a piedi.

Forse il troppo rumore che si sentiva da fuori durante la notte.... Ma Roma "città eterna", tutto le si può perdonare!!
