The location was great and Pratti is a very good region, not dangerous at all and very beautiful. It was very clean and the interior design was as shown in the photos.
The breakfast wasn't the best part! But ok!!
location clean rooms convenient
breakfast troubles connecting wifi
Large suite was great comfortable
I didn't like that my room was not ready until very late in the evening We came by earlier 2 pm and that room was not ready When we came back later they said that room was not habitable but the fact was they gave it to someone else We did get an upgrade but I was so exhausted I lost a nights sleep. Don't like being misled
Helpful staff, they really care for customer satisfaction, our requests have been handled quickly. Rooms are nice and the building is lovely and well situated close to metro, bus and Vatican. Boiler with tea in the room, possible to cook in the 3-persons appartment.
Breakfast in a local café is average
Room was clean, Dario introduced important location and transportation. Near SITshuttle station 6 euro per person to airport.
Comparing with the other two B&B I stayed in Venice and Florence, this one was just room, without decoration, the light beside bed was shining without cover which was not comfortable, there's no painting, no special decoration in the room, and the reception area has no chair, no public toilet. We checked out in the morning, when returned in the afternoon for luggage. Room fee was paid when checked in. Location 15mins to Ventican, but far to Colosseo.
The staff was amazing always gave us advise when we asked and on the first day they made us feel at home. The breakfast delivered to our room each morning was very good. Location, location, location.
The only thing I did not like was our room had a bathroom that was across the hall. The room was nice just attached to the bathroom.
Location / individual tasteful design of rooms / excellent breakfast in room / ..... everything!
Great place to stay while you're in Rome. My husband and I recently stayed there and enjoyed our time. We arrived in the late morning, and our room was ready, which was fantastic. We thought we might have to leave our bags and come back. It's in a good location - everything is less than 30 minutes walking. The Colosseum is the furthest monument, but there's a bus very close to the apartment. The room we had was bright, and modern looking. It was cleaned every day, which was great. The bathroom was pretty good too. The room also came with a mini fridge which was perfect to chill drinks or fruit. Breakfast either at the cafe down the road, or in the room was decent for a cold breakfast. And number 1, it was really great value.
The room didn't have anywhere to sit, other than the bed, which made it a bit awkward when breakfast was in the room. Check-in seemed a bit haphazard. We weren't told when to check-in, and we were never contacted before to let us know how to reach them. I sent an email to them to let them know approximately when we would be there, and the door to the apartment building was open, and we found our way in despite no answer from the buzzer. Other than those minor things, I would highly recommend staying here.
Nothing at all,,,,,Everything was great!
Location, good price for the room. There is a bus stop outside the street to all the major tourist attractions; further up the street is the Vatican stop for SIT bus shuttle to the Fiumicino airport. Note the metro is maybe 10-15 minutes on foot, we didn't use metro to commute whilst we were there.
To start-off, we're very reasonable travellers, this is the only negative review we have left during our 6 weeks holiday and we've stayed in 12 various establishments ranging from hostel-B&B-service apt-hotels. We were greeted by Dario upon check-in (p.s. we never met owner Elga during our stay – I note many reviewers commented on her helpfulness which we couldn’t possibility comment as we never met her) What’s unhelpful (and their logo is Italian Hospitability – what a joke): - No information provided during check-in such as map, sight-seeing tips, transportation, restaurant suggestions, he (Dario) couldn’t wait to leave and we had to ask where’s the nearest metro/bus stop and how to get to the airport (we arrived by train) - There was problem with the air-conditioning unit, we were there on the 22nd June (in the midst of a heatwave of 30 degrees +), he (Dario) didn’t respond to our email complaint and waited until we phoned him (5 hours after we emailed) to act upon it. He brought us a fan and basically said there’s nothing he could do, we had to push really hard to get him to agree to a room swap the next day. He was very rude and when we said we were concerned with mosquitos he said there are never mosquitos on the 4th floor. This was a lie as it was hot, humid and the apt is a block away from the river, we had a few mosquito bites in the end - No one is at the apartment to assist with check-out. On the 23rd June whilst we were waiting for our room swap, 2 girls in the next room were waiting to check out, no one was there but the cleaner (who can’t speak a single-word of English). There was no information about how to check out at all – in the end the girls left the keys with the cleaner. We were told by Dario that he would be there for the check out – another lie as we never saw him on the 24th June when we check out and we end up giving our keys to the young girl who was in the apartment to serve breakfast.
Rooms in Rome was a very nice B&B. The location was fantastic, within walking distance of all the main sites and the Vatican. Room was clean and the breakfast was delicious and delivered to the room.
Location, good price for Rome
Breakfast, not so clean and the bathroom was smelling bad.
Excellent location! Very nice and clean. Staff helpful and friendly. I would highly recomend and would go back again!
I would certainly recommend this B&B for its perfect location. The rooms are spacious and very clean.
Influenced by the comments of previous visitors I was expecting a warmer welcoming by the owners of this B&B.
This is a 4th floor apartment converted to B&B. Our triple room was a good size (for Rome) with a good-sized en suite bathroom - although staying there with 3 pax would be a challenge (we were two). Comfortable beds. Good sound proofing kept out Rome's street noise. An ok breakfast is served in the room. Helpful staff.
No common facilities (i.e. toilet) that can be used before check-in or after check-out. A bit sterile (high ceiling and white walls with nothing on them).
My parents and I stayed in the triple room at Rooms in Rome for 3 nights. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Our room was very clean and comfortable and the bathroom was spacious. The room was quiet at night and the in-room breakfast was very good. The owners/staff are extremely friendly and helpful - they recommended several great restaurants and helped us figure out which transportation to take between the B&B and train station. The B&B's location was perfect for us and we were able to easily walk to the sites we wanted to visit in Rome. I would definitely stay at Rooms in Rome again.
These rooms wer beautiful. We stayed in two different rooms and both were exceptional. Location was terrific and we could walk almost everywhere. The staff was flawless and the owner most congenial and helpful.
Spacy clean room and bathroom, modern decoration. Location is really good, we went everywhere on foot! We enjoyed our stay and we recommend it!
Be carefull because there is a room with separate bathroom(it is also smaller)! Tip: after making you reservation contact with the owner to make sure that he will give you the appartement you have chosen! Breakfast is served in the room.
The rooms were lovely, high ceilings, beautiful architectural details. Location was within walking distance of almost all major roman attractions. Owner/host was most gracious. We loved being in the Prati area of Rome, close to the Holy Father and also some wonderful wine bars.
We had a really great stay. We didn't have to take a bus or subway during the whole stay. Breakfast was very good and served in the room. Very clean and fresh bathroom. Staff was very friendly too. Good neighbourhood.
The room was a bit narrow, but we didn't spend much time in there.
Good location so you can walk by foot almost to all sight-seeing places. The room we lived in was clean, bright and nice and we really liked how it was designed. Thank you for the service, we are looking forward to come back!
very good location, near to shopping area, city center. very quiet area with local restaurants. piazza cavour is 2 minutes away and the buses pass by just a few meters from the hotel. very clean and helpful owner.
EVERYTHING. We felt so welcomed to this beautiful BnB. Upon arrival we were amazed at how beautiful and modern the room was (we were in a triple room) whilst still being in a beautiful old building. We we warmly welcomed, everything was perfect. Great location for travelling around Rome, honestly I would recommend this place to everyone and anyone visiting Rome, it couldn't get better than this!
