In a historic building in the historic center of the city, Residenza Fiorentina is less than a 10 minute walk from Florence Cathedral and Santa Maria Novella Train Station.

Score from 26 reviews Wonderful
The Hotel Sempione is ideally located 215 yards from Santa Maria Novella Train Station and a quarter mile from the Fortezza Da Basso Exhibition Centre. Florence Cathedral is a 10-minute walk away.
Score from 760 reviews Very good
Excellent for public transport to centre of Florence . Very good local restaurants
Wi Fi is weak
Helpful, friendly staff, decent breakfast, good attention to detail. A little out of the historic center, but easy to get there by bus or cab. Very quiet. Very good gelato in the shop downstairs.
Just stayed one night but pretty good overall
Had to carry the suitcase over flight of stairs
Quiet location yet handy for public transport , Very clean and tidy, room where tea and coffee plus biscuits were available, also a small selection of drinks, martini Etc. very good breakfast and a very good restaurant on the ground floor, this was a separate business but very good
WI-fi was very poor, you could log onto it but it was very poor And intermittent .
family owned and operated hotel, beautifyly decorated
The Staff were excellent and very helpful. Close to bus into Florence and close to shopping centre.
That they didn't have a restaurant but I knew that when I booked.
very clean, lots of personality, staff very welcoming and very willing to give guidance.
The staff is polite and friendly. The room was clean and had plenty of outlets for devices.
I stayed here one night because I was returning to Florence for a flight the following day. We spent the first 3 days of our 14 day trip at a different hotel very near the Duomo. I booked Hotel Rosary Garden because of the low price, good reviews, and because my first hotel was booked. But I didn't save any money in the end because I had to pay for 4 cab rides to and from the hotel because it is so far away from the best part of Florence. Also, the night manager did not speak English and couldn't help us with the air conditioning (that wasn't working very well) . Yes, I know I'm in Italy, but found most hotel staff have good English.
The hotel is about 15mins bus journey from the Historical Town of Florence the rooms are butefull and the beds are very comfortable the breakfast was lovely it was just the eye for detail everything about the hotel was very quinte and the staff very helpful and friendly and there is a great restaurant right next door,
Quiet and clean. Great breakfast. Located about 10 to15 minute bus ride from the center of town.
Lovely rooms Great breakfast Some of the staff nice Nice places to eat close by
A little bit to far out of the way. But in a very nice area.
Cleanliness was a real problem - we were there four days and found things all over the room, including under the bed, that weren't ours (including someone else's comb) upon our return to the room. Found the towels unchanged. Front desk just made excuses for the cleaning crew - I don't care if things were checked off on a list - the truth is they simply weren't done. My wife cut her toe on a cracked tile in the bathroom and again there was an excuse, "well, this is an old building and things settle...." Boring neighborhood two miles from the Florence we came to see.
Nice to be off the beaten tourist path. Walking or taking the bus to the Florence Duomo or museums no problem. Breakfast good.
Not particularly clean. Found items left by the cleaning crew throughout the room, including under the bed. Towels not changed. Broken tile in the bathroom cut my wife's foot. A lot of excuses by various staff members.
Staff was very helpful. Breakfast had a good variety and very good. Room was spacious
Very poor internet service. The room at one time would have been lovely but the rugs looked like they were very dirty or really old. Bed cover and decorative pillows were dingy, need fresher look. Shower had mold growing. A big No No. We thought it was walking distance to center of town but we had to take a bus. It was the first time in Italy I felt a little unsafe, but we had no problems.
We liked everything about this hotel!!!
A very nice smallish family run hotel. Very friendly staff, clean and we'll equipped even had fresh coffee in rooms. In busy town square can be a little noisy outside but good sound proofing of needed by keeping windows closed.
Smallish shower that's the only downside in my room
It is a beautiful hotel with a very personal touch. Good location and close to a shopping centre and public transport.
Wifi was poor. It cut out to often.
Nice decoration, easy transportation, romantic design
very narrow shower, not perfectly clean.
A romantic little hotel on the outskirts. Beautiful room with high, vaulted ceilings and a huge comfy bed.
Garden? What garden? Our view was a rooftop, the back of a restaurant and a busy street.
Monica, who owns and manages Rosary Gardens, simply can not do enough for her guests. This was my second stay at this hotel and it ranks one of the best experiences ever. The hotel us clean, quiet and has more than you could hope for, down to the magnifying mirrors in the bathrooms. I have to mention the breakfasts there as they are amazing. They have the best bread, along with things you don't find in other hotels, like fruit salad. Amazing and in the sweetest room. The lady that is in charge of breakfasts takes great pride and one morning when her radio broke, she sang softly while she worked. She, like Monica, goes above ans beyond. Also she remembered us from a year ago. Unvelieveable. I can not say enough about this wonderful hotel.
Perfectly fits romantic atmosphere of trip to Florence. Best value for price indeed.
May be if it was closer to the center it would be better. But the it would be more expensive. )))
