Diva Hotel  

Just the right place for a value priced stay for the last night in Florence near the airport for early morning flight. The desk staff was very pleasant and helpful.

All beds and pillows in Italy need to be rated extra firm.

Inexpensive.

The hotel could be characterized in two simple words: Low Cost. Everything there looks and feels cheap. Rooms are small. Ceiling and walls decorated with cracks and traces of damage. Power outlet without the frame. Walls are empty. Somebody put paintings there to make the room look better, but why bother?! Breakfast supports the main theme, you will not find any kind of fruits there. Some pastry, jam-ham-cheese, juice and coffee. Hotel is located in a relatively far district. Distance is not a big deal since the buses go quite often. But if you come back in darkness there's a great chance to go through a wide choice of whores standing on the street in short sexy skirts. In other words, you could pick a good night entertainment on your way back to the hotel. Generally speaking, Diva Hotel provides minimal acceptable level for accommodation. Nothing more. Many 3-star hotels I stayed provide much better conditions than this one. I would not advise picking this hotel for your stay in Florence unless you are very price-conscious.

Although located 20 minutes by bus out of Florence centre, the quietness of the location was appealing. Breakfast was very good. Buses were close by.

very thin walls - very noisy even in the night, bad matracess - very hard and noisy (you could hear also the ones in the rooms around), no decorations in the room, bidet was making strange noises from time to time (quite disturbing during night)

The price was good, the break fast was diverse and quite fine. it was near bus stop

I strongly recommend this hotel. It is not very close to the city centre but the transportation is easy, good and cheap. Moreover the staff is really friendly. I had a problem the day before I left and the receptionists were lovely, specially Stefania and Luca! They werw kind an helpful.

Exellent budget hotel for someone having work at closely located ge Nuovo Pignone, Oil & Gas business center.

After making free booking, to my dismay I did receive first day charge on my Visa credit card. However it was clarified by Hotel management that nothing would be actually charged unless agreed by me. I finally settled the bill by cash payment. Hope that the charged amount would be returned to my account after the stipulated number of days.

The breakfast was excellent.The staff were very helpful especially the night receptionist who was so kind as to make us hot chocolate from the bar when we came in late. Would definitly recommend it!

Nice family hotel surrounded by plenty of free parking. Ideal if driving through Tuscany. Family could not do enough and although rooms were basic, they were clean and a lovely shower. 2 minutes to bus stop which for a euro took you to within a few minutes walk of the cathedral in 20 mins. Area quiet on a night. Lovely breakfast included. Good value for money

Convenient location for airport and bus to city and railway station.

Poor sound insulation, fortunately the snorer on the next room stopped snoring during the night!

It is very close to several stops of the 22 bus line which takes you to and from the main train station. It's also conveniently located close to a few of the Lazzi bus stops that go to Florence Airport, but we didn't need that this time. The staff of the hotel were very kind and attentive. You can even buy bus tickets from them. Some rooms have a nice balcony, but I noticed that others do not. Ours did, so I count myself lucky there.

The combination of a hard mattress, a soft, small pillow and very thin walls made it very difficult to get a good night's rest. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone who is a light sleeper.
