Diva Hotel  

Although I had parked my car in the wrong underground parking lot and it was locked in until after my early morning flight was to leave, the hotel staff and manager were patient with me, and the manager was respectful, polite, and generous to assist me in every way. It is clear that the family run management care about the comfort and accomodation of their guests, and the wellbeing of their business. I would like to recommend that they put a photo of the parking lot on the map since visitors don't know the streets in Florence, and street signs in Florence are hard to find and read in the day, let alone see at night. I would also like to recommend that they install a mirror in the bedroom and get wifi for the hotel. I would like to thank the hotel staff for doing everything humanly possible to make sure the rental car was returned, my prescription sunglasses shipped to me and that I did not miss my early morning flight. I am very grateful for it all and for not having a last minute disaster ruin my trip to wonderful Florence. Well done!

When you go to Florence you want be near the historical center. Diva Hotel is not near this, but you have a bus to go there in 20 minutes. Since you cannot park your car in the historical center, then this is the best way to visit Florence: to stay in a nice hotel with an underground parking place, and to reach quickly the places of interest, isn't it?

Excellent location on bus route direct to the city centre and just off the motorway. Staff spoke good English, were v helpful and efficient. Hotel did all the basics (incl. Breakfast) to a decent standard. Could eat out at nearby restaurants without paying tourist prices.

Great staff, very helpful. Very clean, very nice rooms, with modern bathrooms. Small and quiet Hotel. Good breakfast. Lovely terrace. Feeling of having come Home!

It doesn't have an elavator.

I strongly recommend this hotel. It is not very close to the city centre but the transportation is easy, good and cheap. Moreover the staff is really friendly. I had a problem the day before I left and the receptionists were lovely, specially Stefania and Luca! They werw kind an helpful.

We stayed in the hotel during Christmas holidays. There is no bus to central and back hotel after 1:30pm on 25Dec but the stuff in the reception desk reminded us. All stuff we meet were very friendly and professional to answer all of our questions, especially we appreciated the man with glasses in the dinning room for breakfast, he is such good attitude and let us enjoy the breakfast very mush.

A little cold in the bathroom without heater.

The staff were excellent, the rooms were good and the facilities ok too. Parking below was handy, breakfast was superb and all together it was a wonderfull couple of nights. The bus into town was handy as were the local restaurants/laundry and shops.

Location. Too far from the center/ railwaystation/ airport and any other useful places. Tv program. Only five. I thought we live in 21 century, but ... I see no reason to choose this hotel at all.

Hotel staff were extraordinarily helpful. Expresso, cappucinos and juice available in the early morning even before breakfast service. Room was very comfortable (more than our downtown Florence hotel) and surprisingly quiet at a great price. Despite our initial misgivings as we drove up (it was almost impossible to find with our google map!), the hotel worked well for us.

Location near the airport (about 5 minutes drive away) was great for an early morning flight out the next day--not for restaurants the night before. We paid to park our rental car in the hotel's small underground garage. It took effort to get in and out of the garage but free on- street parking was almost non-existent. You have to pay an euro or two to connect to the internet in the lobby as well.

Great service from the receptionist, supermarket next door, nearby bus stop, covered parking, large rooms, new furniture, appliances in perfect condition. Totally recommend.

We liked the family atmosphere of the hotel, very friendly service of the staff.
