Conveniently located, a stroll from the rail station, and excellent for walking to the shops and all the major tourist sites. All staff spoke good English. An old building converted into a modern, quirky, clean hotel. A good value three star hotel. |

The hotel is beautiful. The shower was cold and outside our window was a lot of animal excrement. |

Great location, just 5 minutes from the train station . Walking distance to Ponte Vechio, Ufizzi, Duomo, etc. Great value for the money you spend. I wish there was a sign outside of it identifying the building. But, since it's a historical building , I guess it can not have a sign. |

We liked the location on the Piazza Santa Maria Novella, close to major attractions (Uffizi, Duomo, etc) and high end shopping. We also liked the friendly staff and the very nice room (clean, attracteively decorated, comfortable bed) and a good breakfast. The view from the room was not attractive: we were at the back of the hotel which offered quiet comfort as a compensation |

the location was excellent, near train station and walking distance from tourist attractions the room was small and ventilation was not good. It was stuffy and had to leave window in the night open. |

We loved this hotel. It is set on a pretty open Florantine square of Santa Maria Novella only 5 min walk by the underpass from the train and bus stations and 5 min the other way to the Duomo, 10 min walk to the Accademia and Uffizi. Modern, beautifully decorated, great breakfast, helpful staff, comfy beds, A1 cleanliness. We will be back We had two rooms, one at the back and one at the front. The view over the square is great, you can people watch from you window, just know that it is noisy in the square at night until about 11pm. Fine in the early hours and the am. The room at the back had no view but was completely quiet so think about your preferences when booking. |

Locantion and breakfast included(very good by the way) Firenze has a problem with parking area and everybody know's that, but insted of helping the guests with a parking area or a more convinient area, they come up with a "special" fee.Give me a break, would be beatifull if they could at leat park your car in a free parking(30 euros per night) If you have a rented car and if you are staying for more then 2/3 days, just return the car and enjoy your stay |

Very helpful female receptionist and young conceiges very eager to be of assistance. excellent breakfast andvery comfortable, though some small rooms. Great position for visiting all the sights of Florence. Not too hard toi find if you just get to the piazza then look for no. 23. Will return. Male receptionist not quite so friendly. |

The location was excellent - quiet yet close to the train and bus stattions for daily excursions from Florence. The recent refurbishment of the hotel gave a fresh and new feel to the place, and the coffee at breakfast was most welcome! Small lift was quaint! |

Fantastic location, only 5 minutes to the train station and easy to reach any places of interest in the center! The square is pretty, especially with the church on one end. There are a few little shops in the neighborhood where you can buy wine and such for your room/fridge. Breakfast was also quite good! When we return to Florence this will be our hotel! Nothing! Everything was super! |

The location can not be beat. It is just outside of the crowded main touristy center of Florence, yet situated on Piazza Santa Maria Novella. There are several decent restaurants nearby and a great local wine bar across the piazza. The room itself was clean, modern, and comfortable. Also, the air conditioning was much appreciated! The staff were nice enough and breakfast was good. The bathroom we had was exceptionally small (room 413). We have come to expect this from Europe, however this one was a bit tight even for me. While this did not bother us - I would definitely stay here again - the reason I mention it here is that I am not sure how "larger people" (more than 2ft/60cm around) would fit in the shower. Also, the radiator placement makes for a cramped toilet experience. If you are larger or claustrophobic, you may want to request a larger room here. |

Position of the hotel, the contemporary design. The standard room with french bed that we stayed in was extremely small and quite claustraphobic. In our opinion it should not have been let as a room for two people. |
