Where do I begin. Anyone who has searched for clean and affordable accommodations in Florence know that it is not an easy task. After hours of searching between Tripadvisor and another site, I decided to book a room at Rosso23. The hotel is very convenient to everything worth seeing and doing in Florence. I had a short walk from Santa Maria Novella train station to the hotel. The hotel clerk was very professional and even offered to make reservations for a place to eat my first night (I was not expecting that from a three star hotel). I stayed in a single bed room and it was so very clean and updated decor. The sheets had a clean and fragrant scent that made the bed so much more inviting after a long day of traveling and sightseeing. The breakfast was a typical Italian breakfast but plenty. Whenever I am in Florence or I have friends going to Florence I would stay and encourage anyone to stay here! I felt like I received five star service and accommodations at this three star hotel.

Would have liked a bit of an American breakfast but then again I was in Italy and not America!

Very friendly, helpful staff. Rooms were small but spotlessly clean. Very close to railway station, an easy walk even with luggage. Nice breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.

The location and the size of bedroom and bathroom. The fact that we could open windows and see the courtyard. Very quiet room despite busy area. Fantastic location. Good breakfast.

Staff were not very friendly. One tiny, slow lift for the whole hotel. The fact that they forgot to clean our room one day on the weekend, despite sign at the door requesting it. We left at 10am and returned at 2Pm to find that our room had not been cleaned. We only got clean towels, nothing else. Staff at breakfast were rude and not at all helpfull.

The room was very modern and clean. Breakfast was good with a decent variety. Location was nice, very close to train station and other sites.

Our room was looking out onto Piazza SMN which was wonderful, until it was bedtime and we realized there was a very loud bar right below our window playing loud music. Also, no sign for the hotel outside, just a very small one inside the door, so we walked past it several times trying to find our hotel when arriving from rail station

The location could not be better--right on the piazza Maria Novella. Staff was especially helpful and friendly in recommending tours of Florence as well as restaurants.

Modern design. Peaceful room (interior view). Decent breakfast choice. Located 1/2 way between train station & Duomo. Excellent bathroom & walk-in shower.

Very small room. No wardrobe, just a bar to hang some clothes on. Very slow lift.

This hotel was in the perfect location. 2 minutes from the train and all tour starting points. Staff were amazing and so helpful. Rooms were beautiful and really spacious. No washing facilities but a laundromat 1 minute walk.

Not sure if this is a negative or positive but we had a courtyard view. As amazing view as it was, it's a square that has lots of action and can be quite loud very early on and very late. The only other negative was the €6 per day for Internet use.

Good location close to Duomo but away from the noise, nice breakfast.

they dodnt have room service we ordered tea at 7pm they told us the bar is closed the room needs more lights

The decor of the hotel and its rooms, the comfort of the bed, and very central location.

An absurd have to pay 6 euros to have wi-fi!!This was not mentioned on Booking.com. The shower too small and the breakfast too weak.Not all the employees are pleasant and never understand why some customers asked if they wanted Cappucino and some customers not. The hotel was very hard to find...although very central there was no sign with the hotel's name.

Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Hotel staff service is excellent. Hotel and room well maintained and have a very cosy feel.

I thought the lighting in the room was a tad dim. Can be a bit difficult trying to read or surf Internet.

The location is great, close to some of the most beautiful sights you will ever see. Close to the station and the Hop on Bus. The hotel was clean and beautifully decorated with red and greys. Breakfast was good. Lovely croissants and coffee! We had a very nice stay there.

Everything was great. Nothing to complain about.

I liked the decor, the staff were very friendly and its location is excellent.
