Μας άρεσε η άνεση των δωματίων,η καθαριότητα,η τέλεια εξυπηρέτηση απο το προσωπικό του ξενοδοχείου ειδικά απο τον υπάλληλο στην υποδοχή,το πρωινό και τα βράδια στην ταράτσα με ωραία μουσική καταπληκτικά κρασιά

κάτι που ίσως θα έπρεπε να βελτιώσει είναι το θέμα του air-condition αυτό τίποτα άλλο

Clean & nice proportionated rooms. Friendly staff. Good food. Important for car travelers you have own parking.

Please kill the mosquitos! Your staff might advice the clients which are the safe areas and which are the zones compulsory to avoid especially for pedestrians visiting Catania. The general advices of police are generally and might be useful in any town or country.

Very good quality at an excellent price. The hotel has class, the perfect location for everything : shopping, tours,etc.We arrived as a small group , to find out that one of our 4 rooms reserved was not booked. Though an unpleasant situation having in mind that we only stayed there for 3 nights, the front desk staff arranged quickly and proffesionally the transferr of one couple to a nearby 5* hotel for one . Though it was an upgrade, I must state that Royal Hotel has such a special character that places it higher than the Una Palace 5* hotel which was offered as an alternative. But, being a tourism proffesional, I know that errors can happen and the most important thing is to get out of a situation like that in a nice and smooth way.

We felt defrauded by the restaurant at the 1st floor. We wanted dinner at the hotel restaurant because we arrived late and know nothing of the sorroundings. Though there was noone in the restaurant (or, maybe because of that) we waited almost 1/2 h to receive the menu, another 1/2 to receive the orders, which finally arrived cold, very (very) unsufficient and only palatable.Luckily, the wine was excellent so we just took it as a gross joke

The location was great and the breakfast was nice

I liked the architecture and the design of the rooms especially. The restaurant and bar area were spacious and welcoming and the views were great.

The convenience of the hotel's central location and (packed) car park give the hotel a niche in this old crowded city where the only other parking facilities are on the street.

The gilded wainscoting, a dark red carpet and the dark green wallpaper in the bedroom were difficult to "lighten up" even with all the lights turned on. The hotel is baroque; with heavy baroque furnishings added.

we were sent up to our room without it being cleaned but they were very quick to sort out

The staff very friendly location was central however maybe a shuttle bus to the train/bus station would be good idea as it is uphill

The dinner was very expensive for what we got and was only ok and I felt there could have been a better variety for breakfast. The resturant is not a noce atmosphere for dinner they could have closed off sections when not busy, wasn't very cosy. Access to the hot tub should have been part of the price

The Staff were very helpful and the location suited our purpose.

Noisey, a/c has a mind of its own. TV screen far too small. and 2 of the lights remained unoperational during our stay

Good location (10 minutes walk to No. 1 fish restaurant in Catania - Antica Marina and shopping area), helpful staff, breakfast on the terrace, perfect sound - proof rooms (very comfortable).

Extremely well situated, beautifully decorated and well appointed throughout. Large, comfortable room with great bathroom which included both whirlpool bath and separate shower. Amazingly quiet and tranquil, especially given its location in the middle of this busy city. A real 'find', and very good value. I would definitely stay there again, and would recommend it to others.

We booked to have dinner in the roof-top restaurant, but were not told that a large reception was being hosted there. We were seated in a small room adjoining the restaurant, and this was a disappointment. However, the food and wine were excellent.

Lovely. Great location, 200m from Via Etnea.Superb staff, hotel amenities and rooms excellent. Parking facilities very good and it's a must in Catania. We really enjoyed and we highly recommend.If we go back to Sicily we will check no other hotel for sure. 100% value for money.

We had a room with a private terrace, and one night we locked ourselves out, which is quite impossible as the door does not lock itself from the outside, but it happened. The door has no handle from which to pull from the outside, so we couldn't open it.The Hotel staff had to open the door from inside our room. We laughed about it afterwards, it was really a funny incident.

The location of the hotel was perfect. It was right off the main street. The hotel was beautiful, very modern, and extremely great value for money.
