Hotel Royal Esplanade  

Nice location - not far from the railway station and a public beach. The hotel has a swimming pool, which is not common for hotels of this category in Liguria.

No air condition. A bit overpriced.

At hotel Royal Esplanade the staff were ok, just ok, nothing more. It is hard to say anything else good about this place. Must say that the little guy on reception was very helpful.

This hotel is run down and does not offer any feeling of being on a holiday. The fact that our room from the balcon had four huge rubbish bins 10 metres from it which were used by local residents and restos all the day and night did not help for pleasant sleeping. Our bed had a large square of wood under the matress and when I asked why, I was told the last occupant had a bad back and they would remove it if I wished. I decided that probably the springs had gone and just left it. Makes you wonder. The tv was ancient, a portable from the late 80s, I think, and dished up nothing but snow on screen. Whatever happened to satellite tv in Italy? I would never praise this place to anyone, friend or enemy and would never ever go there again. Anyone being offered room 301 say no and go somewhere else. I think it is just a place for Italians so leave it to them.

Nice place with very injust appraisals! I stayed 6 nights for a very reasonable price, and I was totally happpy about my choice. It is basic - but I didn't expect 5 stars! Location is magnificent, a very nice garden in the front where you can take breakfast. Not noisy, from my room at the 3rd floor I didn't hear anything, except of birds on the pine just in front of my balcony. A pool was nice even though I used it once. The room was very clean.

Breakfast is too basic! Cofee is a disaster, I used to take it elsewhere afterwards. Shower is small, bed is small - but it is a sigle-person room, it makes sense. The system with hanging the keys on the wall at the reception looked to me dangerous. There are moment with no one at the reception and the keys are just hanging for whom would like to take it! I was concerned about the security of my stuff.

The pool was nice, though very little space for reading a book orso breakfast was ok

-The hotel is very noisy; *you can hear your neighbours speaking *a train runs at 50m distance at the back of the hotel * the elevator makes a lot of noise when in use (which is most of the time) *neighbours fan(?) sounds like a jet engine -it has very few parking spaces, in fact too few to mention. They advise you to park more then 10 minutes walking at a lonely place. You wouldn't want your car to stay there for the night. -the hotel is shabby: cracked paint, mold in the bathroom etc. bottomline: absolutely not worth the money I paid

Non c'è niente di positivo nella struttura ricettiva. Forse un qualcosa di simile potrebbe essere la possibilità, una volta effettuato il check out e lasciata la stanza, di riporre i bagagli in una stanza (in teoria la sala giochi per i bambini), ovviamente non custodita e utilizzare la toilette della reception, dotata di un box doccia decisamente migliore rispetto a quella delle camere stesse.

Edificio vecchio, pulizia pressoché nulla, camere squallide con arredamento fine anni '70 (e non è un richiamo vintage!): materassi con molle a vista, televisore mivar a tubo catodico con tanto di antenna stile Simpsons, balcone con ringhiere arrugginite e tanto per dare un ulteriore tocco di degrado, bagno con lavabo sorretto da mensole di metallo (ovviamente divorate dalla ruggine) e doccia su piattello con tanto di tenda strappata. La colazione viene servita al massimo fino alle 9.30 e tra la "notevole" quantità di leccornie a disposizione, tra le quali evidenzio ed elogio lo yogurt bianco con sfumature tendenti al giallo limone, mi volevo soffermare sul fatto che l'unico caffè che viene servito è quello americano e che l'espresso (in quanto "plus" - con un aroma degno del caro e vecchio "Caldo Caldo" - ve lo ricordate?) se richiesto viene immancabilmente addebitato ai consumi della camera.

Pessimo rapporto tra prezzo eccessivo e qualità scadente

Bon accueil, bonne situation en ville et proche de la plage. Propreté irréprochable.

Mériterait l'installation de doubles vitrages.

L' acces et la proximite de la gare des petits commerces de la mer .Bon petit dejeuner personnel courtois et avenant

Hôtel qui aurait besoin d etre rénové. Décevant par rapport au prix.

La proximité de la ville. On peut y aller à pied.

La douche est soit glacé soit bouillante. L'hôtel est tellement vieux que les robinets ne marchent plus
