The location is perfect for shopping and getting around to the local attractions.
The room while spacious was a bit run down. Shower stall had cracked door. The floor in the living section was discolored. Accent bed decoration had stains on it. Website said free airport transportation but it was a €54 one way charge. Also talked about free massage after your travels and it was never mentioned at check-in.
Location is excellent
Location and one member of staff was lovely.
Everything other than the location
Breakfast and light in the room
Only the location
The service very fair. The breakfast very poor.
The only thing that this hotel has going for it is location. Elevator. Tiny and antique but at least there is one.
The information provided about the hotel's services is not accurate nor up to date. The spa and terrace are under renovation and wifi does not work in the rooms since the routers are placed in the corridors and the rooms' walls apear to be thicker than the signal can reach. They also state that the rooms are soundproof but that is completely false. The windows are wooden, old and rustic and the street downstairs is noisy from the hotel's restaurant and enthusiastic people screaming late at night. The bathroom has a constant smell of sewage coming from the water drains. The bathtub has no door or curtain so all the water goes out all over the bathroom. The beds have protruding springs. Very uncomfortable. They changed me to another room stating that this one would have working wifi but the signal had the same problem and would only work standing next to the door. The lady at the reception had a bad attitude when I told her that the signal was still not working. Breakfast is average and the same every day.
- Cleanliness: spider web in bathroom, dead fly in the bathtube. No wifi in the room, had to change 3 times the room for wifi connection. Rude staff, there was no toilet paper in the room the first day, when asked the staff was very rude. Lots of noise comming from outside.
a bright colour hotel bursting with personality and friendly staff located near the Spanish steps. The staff are very organised and helpful and breakfast which was included was tasty
the broadband was not working in the bedroom but a separate service was available in the bar
Very hard bed, non-working wifi.
The room was very expensive so that was very very very small , dirty carpet, noisy
Reception desk staff helpful and friendly
Room noisy Restaurant service very poor Are 1 dinner got food poisoning very sick for 2 days
This was my third visit to the Luxury Palace Hotel, originally chosen for its proximity to the Spanish Steps. I struck lucky as it is a charming hotel, comfortable (even for the single traveller). an excellent breakfast and very helpful staff.
A bit noisy, but what do you expect???
The roof terrace was under construction
The location was fab Staff lovely Rooms spacious and well decorated
Unfortunately renovations to dining area during stay so breakfast area was cramped
Location can not be better
- WIFI - Noisy room -Price for the type of hotel
As above, terrible service, they pretended to fix the WiFi but could never get a signal unless I spent the night in reception. Truly awful experience for business travelers.
Room was clean, newly decorated, bed comfortable.
Bathroom was falling to pieces - shower was cheap and nasty, drain was blocked, toilet seat fell off. Downstairs areas smelled unpleasant.
Bed Noise Shower Breakfast room disgusting
Staff is very nice Liked the fact that they wrap bathrobes into plastic, it gives a feeling that its clean
I stayed in suit triple room, room is very dark, dirty walls, carpet and bathroom!!! Windows were facing the street with restaurants and it was very noisy, at 2 am I woke up bacause of the noise coming from the street!!! Had to dress up go down and tell them to stop! Overall very bad hotel no value for money at all! The next day I moved to another hotel in Rome
My fiancé and I used this hotel whilst travelling and got engaged the night we stayed. Beautiful place, room was perfect-you could hear classical music from the window during the day which we loved! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was beautiful and they even threw in a free massage for each night there. What's not to like!
-Location was perfect. Very close to Spanish steps and shopping. Very close to other attractions too. -Staff were very helpful and friendly. -Will definitely stay here again!!
-Carpet needs to be washed/cleaned of stains.
unable to understand that how it is a 4 Star property
Loved the location! Great restaurants nearby. We liked the size of the rooms and the included room service breakfast.
We were very happy with almost everything in the hotel..Ms Martha at the front desk was very helpful and very courteous...
There were two problems. One was that since we are vegetarian, choice of breakfast in the hotel was very limited and second was they didn't change the linens for 4 days.
