Staff was friendly. Order breakfast! The breakfast across the street at a cafe is very poor. The room was clean and adequate. The Vatican is just around the corner, and the Metro is just 2 blocks away.
We spent an hour waiting outside to meet someone to let us in - but they went to a lot of effort to make it up to us. They have a couple of locations on the same street. The wifi is good in the main location, but not in our original location which was a block down the street.
The location was excellent! Short walk to the Vatican Museums and St. Peter's Square.
The price we paid ($$$) included a very small bedroom (full size bed and a twin size bed) to share with out teenage son. I wouldn't have selected this place (it's not a hotel by any stretch of the imagination) if I had known it was so tiny. It's perfect for a young couple without kids. Breakfast was included, however, we requested breakfast at 7:30 a.m. as our day was planned out and it was late. On Easter Sunday, breakfast was not offered. There is no on duty staff. The guy who checked us in left his cell phone number for any questions. Bring your own iron or steamer. We were told that there was no iron available and that we had to leave our clothes in a bag for, "the lady" to iron.
Great location. Very nice and polite cleaning lady. Very basic but very good breakfast with croissant and excellent coffee.
The owner is rude. Before we came he inform us we have to pay 30 euro extra for the late checkup and even thus he could not guaranty we could actually go in. He charged us even we were only 30 min later. When we moved out he deducted 28 euros from my credit card. It took me several days to figure out what was the reason. It turned to be a city tax we already payed in cash. It also took several weeks to get this money back.
Very helpful & committed stuff.
Close to the Vatican and metro station.
Don't believe the ratings here: the room was very dirty. The toilet was disgusting with hairs of the previous guests. On our first night in Rome, i had to buy cleaning products and clean the toilet myself. We also had to wait half an hour at the door, despite having informed Flavio our arrival time. Breakfast is just one croissant, coffee and a glass of juice. You'd do better spending a little more for a clean hotel.

cigarette smoke stink :(
Very good location, nice room.
Great bathroom, tasty breakfast (1 croissant, thee or coffee, 4-6 slices of bread, orange juice, jam and butter) served in hotelroom, kind staff!
Clean, quiet room (we were on the back side). Continental breakfast delivered to our room each morning. Good location. Easy walk or metro ride to most sites including main train station.
Staff seemed friendly enough; however, their lack of Enlgish and our lack of Italian was frustrating. Poor communication. We were moved to another hotel for the last night and given no explanation.
It was right next to Vatikan, great location and nice people.
Bathroom was not very clean, we were put next to the main door and administration and could hear every little movement. Breakfast was only croissant and tea/coffee.
The cleaning of the room was good, and the location near The Vatican was great.
We was forced to change from a nice room the first two days (which we had paid for) to a room with poor quality with a very bad bed and toilet separated from the room. This was probably because we are only 15-17 years old, and thereby perhaps they think it's easier to cheat us. Some days we didn't got our breakfast which we have paid for. Afterwards they charged us for 42 € for something we don't know about.
The location is excellent in Rome,my wife and I walked to all attractions in Rome from there, with the help of a map. Arriving by train it about 10 minute walk from Metro station to hotel. Hotel is about 200 mtrs from Vatican walls.Owners of hotel are great. There are a couple of small supermarkets close by if you need anything.Th ehotel is on the third floor of a building, only sign from outside is a plaque on the wall next to front door. Great value for money.
- Proximity to Vatican City and related sites with good tour company next door. - Breakfast served in your room. - Modern style of rooms with free wifi and a refrigerator. - The owner was very helpful (took us to a nearby restaurant) and accommodating (late checkout) and spoke English well. - Good price for family trip. - Free parking space(s) in front of hotel.
Can hear breakfast being made from the double room nearest the kitchen, not great for light sleepers.
Very very very good location Cost performance Bathroom Wide room
Small TV Little loud in the night because there is a bar near hotel. But it is possible closing window and using air condition.
