Mercure Torino Royal  

In effect, the breakfast and lunch at Mercure was were both rich in terms of quality and variety. The staff at the counter were amiable.

Rooms: quite small in capacity, bed is tiny, some of the lights are not functioning, no hot water was available in my room and no prompt compensation/alternative was offered (the 2 bottles of water that I consumed from the mini bar were regarded as a redemption/complimentary against the lack of hot water). Moreover, the satellite wasn't functioning at all and though I asked the receptionist to have it fixed, no action was taken (when I arrived late at night, I had to unplug the wire, finetune it a bit, and then place it back in its original position and it worked. Opposite to my room (501) there was some renovation taking place with painting odour and to make matter worse, the guy was playing the radio at a considerably high volume while the door was kept open. My friend also complaint about the room size, lack of porters service, and low level of room cleanlines (dusty: spending the night sneezing). Service: quite slow and the restaurant and lounge area: it took the waiter around 15 minutes to come and place the order though we informed the receptionist and my platter came after around 35 minutes though it was a mere Ham&Chees platter. In sum, our expectations were a bit high since the hotel is being ranked 4 stars but unfortunately I would be generous to give it 2 stars as compared to other 4-star hotels throughout the region. Good location for visiting winery area by car. We drave to Barolo,Barbaresco,etc.

The (only) electrical socket was loose on the wall; the mini-fridge (I could have done without) was noisy; maintenance people used the bath towel to clean after themselves and left it in the room, dirty.

good price/performance,in front of hotel a busstop for direct transport to city center; good sound isolation in room against heavy street traffic

Soggiorno per festeggiare lo scudetto della Juventus.

è stato un soggiorno positivo sotto tutti I punti di vista.

Leggermente lontano dal centro, tuttavia grazie ai mezzi di trasporto è facilmente raggiungibile.

Essendo in centro non c'è parcheggio. Si è "obbligati" ad usare quello dell'albergo a 15 euro a notte (posto scoperto) o 18 euro a notte (garage).

Eccessivo riscaldamento, rumore dall'esterno.

Posizione ottima per visitare lo stadio (tram 9/ e tabaccaio per I biglietti a 50 metri), ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo, personale gentile e disponibile, stanza accogliente, bella doccia, parcheggio privato, aria condizionata /riscaldamento regolabile.

Il parcheggio è un po' costoso (15 parcheggio esterno, 18 box, quest'ultimo al -2 e non utilizzabile per I gpl). La stanza è un po' permeabile ai rumori esterni ma tranquillamente sopportabile.
