Bosa is within 75 minutes of Alghero airport by bus (beautiful, high, coastal route, check times via google, two or three a day, fare E4.30). and is a lovely town, well worth a visit. In my case, it was an ideal first destination in Sardinia, then pleasant to spend some time in Alghero for a few days before going home, a pleasing contrast indeed. And wonderful Sardinian hospitality thoughout.

Beautiful town, many colorful and atmospheric old streets to wander around. Like most of Italy, very hilly, especially the climb up to the castle. Worth walking out to Bosa Marina and out to some of the churches in the countryside. Easy access by bus to other Sardinian towns.

If staying in the historic old town, bear in mind you will have to park a car outside the main town and walk in with luggage. The cobbles make it quite tough to wheel suitcases along so backpacks are better.
Bosa town is very picturesque with lovely restaurants, cafes and a friendly vibe. The marina area is about a half hour walk from the historic part of town if you want to swim in the sea. The beach is beautiful, crystal clear water and plenty of sunbeds for hire. Also a good selection of restaurants by the beach.

Unique charm with narrow streets and friendly, helpful people. It is not too busy, but has wonderful restaurants and cafes. It's easy to walk around as many streets are pedestrianised. You can park free 24 hours on white lines. So glad we came here, would definitely visit again. We ate at the wonderful restaurant at our hotel - Locando di Corte. Also recommend restaurants Alduccio al Painificio and Ristorante Borgo S.Ignazio. Aperitifs at Zio Elio Osteria Antica di Vino - near the riverside in a quiet street - the host is wonderful.
Gorgeous traditional little townhouse in the Centro historico, restored with all its soul intact. Loved the vaulted stone ceiling, the colours, unique vintage pieces and design choices that mirrored the beauty of Bosa itself. The rooftop terrace had a great view of Bosa, we enjoyed both dinner and breakfast there chatting to other guests and Sebastiano. Sebastiano was a great host and his little booklet guide to Bosa was fun to read and very useful for sightseeing and restaurants. parking was also not far away.
We stopped in Bosa for one night and it was definitely worth it. The city is beautiful as well as the Bosa Queen House. Completely new or recently renovated. Easy check-in and nice staff. Big and clean rooms. The hotel includes are nice roof-top terrace. The breakfast was sufficient and well-prepared.
All sights and magnificent restaurants are located next to the accommodation. Parking was possible for free and 200-300m distance on public streets.
The location is excellent, close to attractions and restaurants in the historic area. This is a renovated historic tower which was very successfully redesigned into a guest house. The owners are very nice and helpful and gave great recommendations for restaurants, events and places to visit.
The place was very clean and breakfast was great.
Bosa is a very interesting place to visit and staying at Casa Pagio made it really special.
The town is an awsome real little maze. Looks authentic and genuine 👌. Liked it very much.
The hotel staff made for us a little town trip with a caddie golf to show us the place and drop us to the building where the room was.
Huge room in the top floor with huge terrace with a view on the castle. AC worked perfectly. It's very quiet and comfy. Feels like at home.
The room was beautiful and the location is super central. The check-in was very straightforward and Andrea, who checked us in, was super nice and helpful. It's bang in the middle of bosa village, and very close to the bus stop for beaches. A word of advice to anybody staying here, make use of the shuttle between bosa marina and bosa at night.
The hotel is located in the historical center, and is tastefully renovated into a modern bed & breakfast. The room was comfortable, kept in very good condition and clean. Francesco and staff were very nice, gave us great tips for restaurants & activities in Bosa. Breakfast offered a nice selection.
Antonella's kindness, availability, care for his B&B, decorating style, and variety of breakfast would be hard to match. She's also very knowledgeable about Bosa and its surroundings, all the more important if you'd like to experience it in a deeper way. Very recommended.
We had a free room upgrade to a suite which was an additional bonus.
Everything possible was provided down to a toothbrush and toothpaste.
Convenient parking lot across the road for hotel guests.
Good restaurant with plenty of options for non-meat-eaters.
Fresh, tastefully decorated room located right in the heart of beautiful Bosa town, just a short walk through lovely streets to the main streets, riverside and castle. Host was very kind, and ensured that all visitor accommodation needs were arranged.
Thie was clearly a summer hotel and upon arrival it looked as it was abandoned. The hotel needs some renovation but the rooms were large and nice, Comfortable beds and nice breakfast served. It was good value for money.
New! Clean! Beautiful! Comfortable! Well located! Gourmet breakfast prepared with fresh ingredients from their garden. The owners are fantastic. A lovely experience. I wouldn’t trade Vaarak for any other 5 stars hotel.
A lovely hotel in an old, medieval building run by a wonderful couple. The room was extremely cosy and clean. The breakfast was delicious. We also loved the tips concerning Bosa provided by Paolo. Thank you once again!
Wonderful guesthouse in a central location in Bosa.
Angiola is a fabulous host who provided great recommendations for local restaurants and beaches along with other locations in Sardinia.
Will definitely be back.
Helpful, hospital hosts. They went out of their way to ensure our comfort. The view of the river from the large patio was spectacular. The hotel was dog-friendly, which is important to us.
Really nice hotel and very nice staff. We got an upgrade for the junior suite. Location is perfect. Great breakfast, one of the best we've had in Sardinia.
