The vista! The large and immaculate rooms. The breakfast. The staff were moderately helpful. The telephone in our room did not work. We had to go down to the lobby from the 8th floor to ask for a blanket for my son's bed - there was only a sheet on it. The next day our telephone still did not work. We had to go down again to request an extra pillow. I would have liked to have do not disturb signs so that the staff would know whether or not to knock on the door.

The location was excellent. Staff was friendly and professional. The lock on my room's door broke during my stay and I was immediately given a larger room at no additional cost to me. The restaurant at the hotel prepares great dishes and excellent breakfast. The hotel restaurant was rather expensive. The Wi-fi is also rather expensive.

We stayed at the hotel for a week. The location is perfect, get a room with a balcony and you get fantastic views of the Castel de Ovo and the coast line. There a numerous restaurants within walking distance of the hotel right on the main road. Service at the hotel was superb. The staff was courteous, professional and very entertaining. Make sure to stop by the bar and talk to Antonino, Angelo, Rosario and especially Antonio. Great guys. I drove in Naples, but I don't recommend it for the faint of heart. Side trips to the numerous islands are easy from this location.

Nice hotel, found the bar man to be very friendly! There was a nice bar area which served food - expensive but tasty club sandwiches! We stayed an extra night as it was good location - close to restaurants, walking distance to shopping area and very safe. Internet access very poor.

We were taken as soon as we entered our room the view from our window and balcony were Breathtaking, the view of the Casle, the view of the Med. and as an added bonus you could look down the hotel front from the balcony and see Mt. Vesuvius. The breakfast at the hotel was excellent always more than sufficient for anyone. The staff we always found very helpful and obliging and always had a smile for you and nothing ever too much for them. The swimming pool was more than adequate for our needs. We found the location very good for the nearby bars and restaurants for eating out on an evening. Also very handy for exploring around the sights and sounds of Napoli itself. The whole hotel rooms etc. were spotlessly clean and tidy. The rooms could benefit by having tea and coffee making facilties.

Superb sea, castle view in restaurant where we have breakfast every morning. Convenient to reach all main attractions in southern part of Napoli. Port very nearby to take ferry to Capri or Ischia. Fantastic dinner deal, 3 courses plus dessert, caffe and wine only costs 24 euro per person! Moreover, we sit next to the bay view under star night.

What we liked the most was the breathtaking view of the Gulf of Naples from our 9th floor balcony. The hotel is situated on Lungomare, wright in front of Castelo dell'Ovo, in an elegant and clean part of the city, with a few good restaurants close by, and within walking distance to Piazza del Municipio and Palazzo Reale. We booked a double room with sea view, and I must admit the room was very large, very well equipped and clean. The bathroom was also large and clean. The personnel was prompt and helpful. The fact that Wi-Fi was not included in the room price. But I guess this is very common in Europe.

Location was very good for this hotel with amazing restaurants just across from the hotel. It was good to be far away from train station and we could always walk to the city center. It was always nice to return to much cleaner area where this hotel was located with amazing views. The beds were extremely hard and pillows were very small, it took 1 night to get used to that.

Courteous & friendly staff. Available too. Good breakfast buffet with view on the sea, nice soft music. Room service available but expensive (Italy!). Small swim pool on the top from 11am-7pm (salt-sea water) and staff available for drinks, snacks and towels. Nice view from the roof too. 5Minute cab/ taxi-ride from the historical centre. Several taxi in front of the hotel entrance which is very practical..If u want a good & new room, take a room in the "Continental building, it s newer than in the other part of the htl. A room with sea view is 15e/day more than a normal one which is worth booking it. Most of the room are at sides and only a few have sea view and light. Because the htl is a combination of 2 buildings (newer built later) and the distance between both is small, there are 10 floors, which gives little sunlight in the room having a balcony between the 2 buildings..a pity. WiFi connx available but you have to pay for it.The breakfast buffet offers a variety of fresh food, fruits, yoghurt different flavour. The only problem is the scrambled eggs are made from egg powder...not so great ! Anyway no regrets at all.. I have seen other hotels in the centre of in the historical centre and the wasn't any sunlight at all, it was worse..

The location was great and the hotel decore of the hotel was very clean and up to date. The breakfast was very good and had a lot of variety. The front desk staff were very unfriendly and when you ask questions or directions it seemed you were interupting them. Also they couldn't give us any information about the tour bus for the city or where to catch it. They said it stoped by the hotel but she didn't know the time. Upon arrival they directed us to the parking garage. They should have told us to bring in our lugage because after taking the car we had to drag our luguage up a couple of flights of stairs to the front desk.

Great location and room, balcony was nice. Staff friendly and efficient but a bit overwhelmed at times with convention meeting and arriving guests. Unfortunately my room was right by the conference rooms, so lots of traffic and noise during the day. Fortunately, I was away during the normal business day but this could be an issue for some people.

The hotel is very nice, staff is very competent and friendly. Great location on the sea side and great view from the balconet of the room. Good breakfast with sea view. The best for me was the surrounding, 50 meters away from a marina with great atmostphere and restaurants. The bed was kind of hard a litlle bit.

“Spotlessly clean rooms that are ultra modern in the starkest of minimilist style. The well informed very efficient staff wear kahki uniforms and it felt to me that we were in a well run prison. The sgribbled graffiti style decoration possibly wouldn't have suited my mature parents, but we liked the quiky style of it all. Breakfast was good with plenty of choice and food. The location is spot on just outside Piazza Bellini the nicest place in Napoli apart from the waterfront. ” Neil, Caernarfon |

“In English: a wonderfully located hotel with a very special touch (hotel integrated in the fabulous Galleria Umberto). Super staff, very friendly, helpful and kind.
