the view over the castello dell'ovo, with Capri in the background, nice, safe neighbourhood, satellite TV with hundreds of channels in various languages the staff at the breakfast buffet do their utmost to ignore customers who want to order something special (that is... if you consider an "espresso macchiato" to be something special in Italy !!). If I stay there again, I will probably use a megaphone and some kind of flare to get the waiting staff out of their state of lethargy |

The staff was very friendly and helpful, all our wishes (special dietic food for breakfast, setting late check-out, taxi arrangements etc.) were fulfilled with professional manners and services delivered were just excellent. It would be great, if the swimming pool would open for guests earlier than 11 am. |

The hotel is a true 4 star hotel. Although it was not high season and we paid the rooms under their value, the service was excellent, the staff was very kind. The rooms are beautiful, everything works well. There is a magnificent view on the Naples bay. They are at the highest level. |

The Royal Continental was an oasis in the middle of Naples. Situated right on the bay, it was an ideal spot with restaurants virtually right outside the door. Would recommend this hotel to anyone as we found the staff very helpful and almost all we talked to were fluent in English. Most importantly the rooms were outstanding. One of the cleanest hotel rooms I've stayed in. (We did upgrade to a sea view room). There are two hotels - The Royal and The Continental - but they are connected so no worries about determining which one to check into. |
