Located conveniently close to major attractions and reasonabley close to transport. Decent size bathroom although only a shower facility. Front offoice staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms are very small and cramped. Noise from from both outside and inside the hotel can be heard throughout the night. TV reception was extremely poor. Breakfast offering was limited, much less that anticipated for this grade of hotel in Europe and the service is appalling. |

We had a difficulty with luggage and the night porter was highly efficient and was of great assistance in helping us with telephone numbers and advice on what to do.Manager and front desk staff were all very friendly and most helpful. excellent location but you still have to lift cases from San marco to hotel, but thats the venetian experience for so many hotels |

Excellent location just off San Marco square. Great base for a stay in Venice. Bedrooms were small but newly refurbished, clean and tidy. The buffet breakfast was disappointing - tea and coffee from a machine, tinned fruit. No staff to clear tables. |

The location was fantastic. Close to San Marco Piazza. Staff could speak English. Elevator only goes up to 4th floor and my room was on the 6th floor. |

Only the location. Decor is nice in some rooms. My shower cubicle was so tiny that the shower curtain kept clinging on to me whenever I showered (and I'm only a petite 5ft3") |

Location, location right in the heart of San Marco and the hotel gives very good instructions on how to get there. English speaking staff. Very good free buffet breakfast in the morning to start the day with. Very nicely designed rooms. Large bathroom and a safe. Did I mention location. Hard Rock Cafe around the corner. :) The rooms a bit small but we were never in it but to sleep. A little problem with keeping the water in the shower stall and not on the floor. But otherwise a very comfortable and well arranged room. |

The room was elegant, spacious and clean. Their continental breakfast was excellent. The hotel was close to all the landmarks we wanted to see. The added bonus of the trip to the Murano glass factory was a surprised and very much appreciated. The breakfast room was small. |

At first appearance the hotel was exactly as I thought it should be a classy hotel really close to the center of action. The room was a disappoitment. We reserved a triple many months in advance ans the room they gave us was no bigger than a double with a rollaway stuck in the room. The third bed was half way in the doorway to the restroom, which was the smallest cupboard I had ever seen. Also, the breakfast would have been nice if they had someone to clean up the tables. The first morning, we tried breakfast, there were no cups for coffee, every table was completely full with dirty dishes. The guest we stacking the dishes, so they could sit. It was a mess. We didn't do breakfast in the hotel after that first morning. |

From the moment we arrived the service was personalised and to a high standard, The room was fantastic and to have a trip to the glass factory included in price impressive. We have already recommended this hotel to other friends and would definitely like to come back with our family next time. |

I enjoyed my stay at the Royal San Marco. The room was small, but very clean. The breakfast served in the morning was very good. The staff was very helpful. The hotel was in a very good location. Right off San Marco Square. |

Location, location, location! Easy to get to from train station by public transportation system. Not very far from the center of San Marco square which is one of the main places to visit. Only one bridge to cross and a few stairs to carry your bags across. The food at the breakfast buffet was excellent, but the atmosphere of the dinning room was shear kaos. The dinning room area was setup more for couples than familys groups. Difficult to seat more than four (4) together. |

The address says it all; San Marco Palace features elegant guest rooms and suites and is set in the very heart of Venice, actually in St. Mark’s Square. |

Foscari Palace is a few steps from the Ca' D'Oro Vaporetto (water bus) stop, a short walk from Rialto Bridge. Don't miss the view across Venice from the rooftop terrace. |
Set directly on the canal bank this elegant hotel features comfortable guest rooms, a traditional restaurant, and a panoramic roof terrace. Walk to St. Mark’s Square in 5 minutes. |
