Nice hotel comparatively but poor value for money due to it's location. Am sure u will have an enjoyable stay so long as I don't stay on the 4th floor- our room had a nice little balcony but unfortunately was located right outside the hotel air con & generator which meant our whole room vibrated through the night. When asked to change rooms the staff were not overly helpful and simply said they were fully booked. Our friends next door had a much better sleep however The noisy generator next to our room (can't recall room no but last one with a balcony on 4th floor) |

The position of the hotel at the very center of Venice was very convenient. It was very clean and well furnished. Breakfast was poor. Rooms were not what they show in the fotos of the Hotel. |

The location is excellent, just a few steps away from St. Mark's. e stayed in a large double on the top floor. It was comfortable and well kept. The bathroom was slightly on the small side but no kind of inconvenience. Breakfast was included and ran until 10.30 a.m. with a great selection of foods. The internet facilities were atrocious for a 4* hotel. One very slow computer which charged my credit card twice( I was reimbursed by the staf, reluctantly) This is a problem if u need to check in online for your flights. English at the front desk was not always interpretable. |

Location: very near S. Marco square. Also, the stuff: polite and helpful. The price: should be about 20% lower. |

Location is very good. Hotel ambience is good, breakfast was decent. The bath tub (Room 405) was not ergonomic, the floor of the bath tub was not at one level and hence extremely difficult to have a shower, also very cramped. |

Great position - close to San Marco Square, very clean room. The internet did not work and we wasted money purchasing time. The room was hot as the airconditioning was not functioning properly, after numerous requests eventually someone had a look however it was not fixed. The breakfast included was the bare minimum and there wasn't enough room for the amount of people staying there to be seated comfortably. |

Friendliness of staff and cleanliness of room. We were able to check in during the morning. The staff was able to answer all our questions and help us with transportation issues. |

It is in San Marco square. Staff was very helpful and welcoming, particularly Danilo and Ernesto. We were very tired, arriving very early in the morning so they helped us get checked in earlier. Interior hotel design is excellent particularly the hotel lobby and lounge, and breakfast room. Breakfast had very good variety and the staff made sure everything was re-filled. Airconditioning was not turned on during our stay to follow Venice law that temperature should be hotter than a specified level before hotels can turn on the aircon. So we had to open our windows. Fortunately we were on the 4th floor facing the street. |

The Royal San Marco is central, clean and friendly all you need from a hotel. Use the Realto water bus stop for the hotel its only 5 mins walk and easier to find the hotel from here instead of San Marco stop. The breakfast could be to a higher standard and the food for the buffet could be brought out on a more regular basis. There was not enough staff to keep the breakfast room clean and table cleared. |

Location of the hotel which is very near to San Marco Square. Our room was very small, as if the hotel is not 4*. It was so small that we couldn't open our suitcases and unpack all of our things. The room was on the 5th floor, lift goes to the 4th floor, so we had to carry our things on foot up the very bad staircase. There is no isolation between room and the corridor, only very thin door between them so it was very noisy. |

It was very close to San Marco square, the staff were very nice, and the breakfast was good by Italian standards. The room was too hot (in april), the air conditioning unit did not go below 17c (which felt more like 20c) becasue apparently Italian law forbids it. |

The location of this hotel was excellent being just a few steps from St Marks Square and we couldn't fault the service. If i had to have any critisim of the hotel it would be the room size. It wasn't as big as we would have liked but this is not suprising given the location of the Hotel. |
