I was worried when had read some reviews but on arriving was very pleased it was close to water bus and taxi and walking distance to every thing we wanted to see the staff were very pleasant and helpfull would stay again breakfast was lovely rooms were very book but then we had a suite but overall excellent.

Excellent hotel in a brilliant location, has everything you could want. The breakfast buffet selection was immense. Rooms were perfect and staff helpful. You want/need something, this place has it.

Location near San Marco Square makes it accessible to all of Venice. The lobby area was presentable.

The guest rooms and hallways are quite seedy and in need of updating to a warmer feel. Actually quite disappointing.

The standard of the room was poor. There was no hot water in the morning. The room bedside lamps were not working, bits of the laminate on the room floor were coming off. The floor would creak loudly at night every time someone upstairs moved.

Location is perfect

Had some difficulty finding the hotel when we got off the boat but I'm sure if we had of done some more research this could of been resolved

Great location right near St Marks square.

Thought breakfast was disorganised and not very nice so only went once, they might have been having an off day.

Location: very close to St Marks. Very friendly & helpful staff. We had the (mis)fortune to wake up to the City being under 3-5 ft of water on the last day so we couldn't get out of the hotel. They allowed us to stay in our room for a couple of hours after check-out until the water subsided enough to go and buy some boots - they even lent us boots to wade outside to get our own.

It has a good location and is good value for the money if you get in one of the better rooms. I had a nice view of a quiet canal.

The bed was too hard, and the room very, very small. There was black mold in the bathroom.

Brilliant Rooms and Friendly Staff

It was noisy first thing in the morning with trade traffic across the bridge outside the window

Internet wi fi is not free, and is extremely expensive.

Although the room was so small but the staff were so friendly and helpful, the location of hotel is great, breakfast was perfect.

Very accomodating staff, location was perfect, and great location to Piazza San Marco.

Great location and value for money considering other hotels of the same 4 star rating.

Breakfast was limited for a 4 star city hotel with only a small area of selection, very small bathroom with a small shower cubicle which to be honest needs to be updated inline with the rest of the hotel as only a plastic shower tray, the location made up for the bathroom!

Unwelcoming unfriendly staff, rude waiter, mediocre breakfast, over rated rating, noisy bedrooms, room not ready by 2.00 p.m. as stated.

So so breakfast, reminded me of free breakfast at any US Comfort Inn. Not on same standard as the hotel.

it is a small hotel but beautifully appointed...silk fabric on the walls, marble floors, very elegant and Venetian. Location is right off San Marco Square. Elegant bathroom.Friendly staff.

Room was small but had all the amenties

Very good location with a few steps away from the Piazza San Marco. Front office employees were very friendly and helpful with any information or issues. Both of our double rooms were wonderful and very nicely decorated. Go for an early morning walk, as you get to see the real Venice with only a few tourists along the walking streets and the locals going to work places, all kind of delivery merchants on the canals and streets, fresh food markets getting ready.

In addition to our two double rooms, we as well booked one single room. It was a very tiny room, half size of the nice double room. We complained on check out that the price was not to it's size since it was the same room as the double room. Front office staff called the manager, but to our disappointment showed no flexibility nor understanding of such issue. Our suggestion: Never book a single room... Only double rooms, as you will be charged exactly the same rate!! Please note: It is the same in France.

the location was at the heart of la ramblas and few minutes walk to catalunyia square & the port side

the room service was poor, no bell boy, no coneirage, not much ammenities in the room.

It's proximity to the heart of Venice.

The Room was very disappointing - it was meant to be a triple room but in fact was only a double room with a single bed. Room far too small for 3 people!

Excellente localisation. Personnel compétent et serviable. hôtel propre. Très bon petit-déjeuner.
