The location is very good for the carnival as the hotel is only 1 min to the San marco square. The breakfast is ok.
The room is very small and we cannot even open our luggages. The worst is that they give us the 6th floor, we have to carry two big lugguges upstairs without a lift after 4th floor. After complaint, they sent a porterman for us. The staffs always carry a poker face, and the service for the breakfast is poor, only one waitress is nice.
The down down of venice
The room was really small most of all the toilet...a very small place
The free wifi and location were great.
Room conditions are horrible. There is no question about 4 stars level. I don't beleive any 3 stars hotel has such room conditions! No ventilation in bathroom!! Everything was old and ugly. No parquet, only an imitation. Bad bed, only 2 real towels. Very very few accessories. Poor hotel!
This was my first trip to Venice. Location, location, location.Next to a shop that I had a mask made for me, handmade by shop owner. Great breakfast buffet Helpful and friendly staff, and clean. I ll be back in Venice and that 's where I ll stay.
the location is only a couple of minutes from san marco square, the heart of venice
there is no bar or a restaurant in the hotel but fortunately plenty in the vicinity
The hotel is literally a 15 second walk from san marco square...maybe 10 seconds. The rooms were very big, my friends had their own balcony (which was very big)
Breakfast wasnt that great, its very basic.
Very near to St. Marks square, neat clean rooms
Everyday the same breakfast becomes boring.
great location and easy to find. Good size of the room. Very good breakfast.
Bad support from staff about floodings around hotel. They could provide better information before any issue.
I wanted to make a small surprise for my boyfriend and thought of a breakfast in the room with a birthday cake. As I was coming from Germany I could not really organize it by myself. But Edoardo, a guy from the staff helped me in everything! He was amazingly kind and helpful! The surprise was perfect, the cake delicious and the das unforgettable!
the proximity to St Marks square,
room a bit dark (this was part of its charm.......however the decor was dark AND the lighting was poor, which meant reading was virtually impossible).
The location was great, and superior rooms are quite confortable.
I booked a double bedroom and the double bed was made up of two beds next to each other, each made with separated sheets. I was on a journey with my partner and this made the first night very unconfortable untill we complained. Maybe they should take into account that sometimes 2 guys can be a couple, or at least ask. Not a great breakfast too.
Great location. very clean. wonderful service done by a good stuff member his name is Andrew. We appreciate that service.
Location was excellent. Staff were very accommodating. Despite being just off the main square it was remarkably quiet. The wifi was very good.
The paint was peeling off the ceiling. There was thick dust on the bathroom radiator, even though the rest of the room was clean. The superior room was what I would expect to be a normal 4 star room - the standard was disappointing.
The room is not clean.
No WiFi in room - no bag service to and from room which was in a different building. No taxi service to train station. Reception pushed glass tour as we were checking in. Wast of time and money.
The location was great and the staff are very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was also pretty good.
This is very far from being a 4 star hotel... Rooms are small and you can hear everything from the other rooms.
1) Location 2) Breakfast 3)Complimentary gondola tour 4) Old world style decor
Difficult to find for first time visitor.
Great location, great breakfast and very cozy
Hard pillows and room needed a little bit of painting
1- waiting in a long line for about 35 mins to enter the room for breakfast 2-no WIFI ..u have to go to another building for the WIFI 3- stuff are not professional (not all for sure) 4- paying additional money per person per night for what is called city tax !!!!!!!!!!!!!
Location, Friendly Staff, Good WIFI
Noise in the room, poor breakfast
Central Location, cleanliness
no focal point for lobby, i.e. bar or coffee lounge
Lovely renovated room
Other rooms were not as nice
Very tired room. Mould on bathroom ceiling. Needs an upgrade.
This is not a four star hotel by anybody's standard.
