Excellent location,large and confortable.good wifi.
Access sometimes difficult ie: front d'or lock very hard to open.
Poor kitchen, not washing machine. Everything small and narrow, including the toilet. Not convenient for young kids.
Location. 10 mins walk to pantheon. Rest of city walkable
Dirty, power went out twice in first night when fuses tripped, not enough blankets provided for people staying, hot water tank tiny and on timer so never enough water. Hard beds.
-Walking distance to so many major attractions
-Small apartment -Not so clean -Poor facilities
Excellent wifi Friendly staff
Levy charged for check in after 8pm. No 24 hour reception. No air conditioning (in our apartment) Expensive (wasn't worth the price)
Lovely location and very comfortable
Location, proximity to tourist attractions and stores. Washing machine. Large rooms and lot of storing space.
A/C in 1 bed room and living room only and VERY noisy. Portable A/C needs windows open for hot air pipe. More noise, heat and mosquitoes. 1 roll of paper toilet, no towels and soap in the kitchen.
I did not like anything except the location
Everything in this apartment sucks, no air conditioning, very humid, very hot, not clean, smells bad. I really do not recommend it even for hippies.
People super friendly and helpful, great location
The fold out sleeper bed was not great, everything else was perfect except the wifi, which worked better in one room then the other. This is Italy, no?
Location Bathroom Kitchen Wifi Air conditioning
Beds Some bugs
The location is just perfect. We were in the heart of the city and have river view :) We did not need to use any bus or metro to visit all of the attractions in Rome. Everything (attractions, supermarket, best gelateria, pizzzeria etc) is in walking distance. The contacts (Laura and Federico) were awesome, very welcoming, extremely friendly and helpful. The apartment is well maintained and equipped. It was also clean.
Laura who welcomed us at the apartment was particularly helpful and nice, she gave us maps and explained us how to get around the city. The apartment is amazingly located.
Apartment smelly stale, Sorry, there is no acoustic. The work will be carried out and the noise in the top flat Impossible to get the owner on the phone. We arrived after midnight before we could download Luggage demanded money fast Overall we left Very disappointed. By the way, a selection of pictures of apartment only correct one.
If you're searching for an excellent location, on foot to basically all historical places, this is a good one. There are also many restaurants, food fair, small markets and bakeries nearby, especially if you want to cook at home and save some money! You can also wash your clothes! The manager (Mr Federico) also helped us with a pick-up at the Fiumicino Airport.
There's no reception desk, so you MUST talk to the manager to arrange a meeting before you go the apartment. Also, there's no breakfast, so either you prepare it at the apartment, or eat somewhere when you go out!
We stayed at 34 via di Monserrat apartment. The location was superb. 5 minute walk to Campo dei Fiori. The market is on in the morning, then the restaurants open for lunch and dinner. Could walk everywhere in Rome. We walked to the Collosseum, the Vatican, Castel SantAngelo, The Roman Forum and the Trevi Fountain. Trevi was the furthest point. About a 22 min. walk, but still a great walk. Shops and restaurants all along the way. A great place to stay. Also, the family who runs the apartments is a very lovely family. Federico always returned my texts and emails. Tommasso sent specific instructions how to get the key, etc. The lady was ready when we arrived. A great group of people and a good business.
There was really nothing we did not like. However, if staying at the apts, you must ask about the beds. This apt. had one large king bed in the loft, and a sofa bed downstairs. Make sure you know about the bed arrangements if you are travelling with teens. All apts. differ on this.
Good location near Campo di Fiore and yet quiet. Great kitchen area in apartment. Nice big windows that open to let in light. Good wifi reception.
If you are older the loft bed will be difficult to climb and if tall it may be hard to walk around the loft rea. We were OK but older people may find it hard.
Location is somewhat central. Bus was within walking distance. Staff appeared to be pleasant.
Very old and run down neighborhood and apartment. Our apartment was on Via D'Eglise. Perhaps other apartments on other streets might be better. Very unpleasant smell in the building and the neighborhood, not to mention in our apartment. Bathroom unpleasant smell. Trash, graffiti leading to our building. Can't open the window at night because of high volume of noise and Mosquitos. Weak air conditioner in the family room-had to use a fan. No cable channels on TV, so no English channels. Weak wifi.
A beautiful little house on the top of a 6 floor building, with a wonderful panorama.
The location was great, couldn't be better. The apartment is nice and the host was very nice as well.
They did not replace towels and the building was under construction so for the entire week that we were there the hallways were not very clean.
The apartment and especially the rooftop terrace are terrific; its practically in the middle of Rome Old town, all the sights are within easy walking distance; staff was extremely nice and friendly
the price is a little bit too high for an apartment it is not so easy to find the apartment if you are unfamiliar with Rome; as we had booked a transfer this was no problem for us though
The view from the patio was so pleasing. Enjoying a sundowner from your own private rooftop garden, with a 360 degree view of Rome was so special. And the Butler was great! Thanks for all the help he rendered us. Christo & Rixi from South Africa
All was well
evrything was very good
Me and my family we have visited the apartment on Via Cappellari 73 facing the Cappellari street, second floor - the so called "yellow" apartment on Cappellari 73. The location is just excellent, 3 minutes walk to Campo dei Fiori, around 10 min to Piazza Navona, plus we love the Trastavere or Colloseo which are also within walking distances. Of course we did not use the bus or metro. The apartment windows face a little street with two restaurants below, which we found to be not very disturbing, as they serve only few people, and normally closing before midnight (June). The apartment is well equipped and all You need is there, as listed on the site. Not all the equipment is brand new, but it is complete and functional. Wifi is working quite well. The staff is in very good contact and helpful all the time, You can call them or write them an email, they really react fast. The best way to get to the apartment to/from the airport is by taxi - as per June 2014 there are fixed rates for transfers so it is best choice for a group of 4 people as cost is comparable to bus+bus while time is 4 times shorter.
The staff was incredibly friendly (thank you, Laura) and the beautiful apartment was situated right in the city center! Perfect!
Really good service (the owners communicated with us since the first day to arrange our arrival, they responded every question we had), location was perfect and all monuments were spread near around. I highly recommend this flat for its value/price ratio.
Just a minor problem - there is a little bit noisy (but not so much) restaurant in front of the building but nothing special in Italy (If you travel without little babies it won't be a problem).
