Needs two fixed showers
Location and nice staff
The hotel is lovely, i enjoyed it and where it is located is amazing, exactly near it there is a small restaurant. I enjoyed the stay, sad to say that i miss it alot
Apartment had a clothes washer/dryer which was very nice.
No parking and the parking lot is a 25 minute walk each way and $40 a day! Apartment is on the 4th floor with narrow steps and no elevator. Three of us are in our 60's so it was a struggle with baggage!
Central Location,Apartment had old world character and had nice furniture etc
all was good for the price
The apartment is really charming. Delightfully designed, warm, cheerful and the location is superb. The value for money is superb.
There were a lot of little problems that added up: the promised Internet did not work, and although Costanza arranged for us to use the Wi-Fi at the bar downstairs, Rome is really a place where you want to be able to sit comfortably in your own place and research things. There were lots of tiny (non-stinging) ants, and from the cans of bug spray in the kitchen and cleaning closet, we didn't think they came just for us. The hot water in the kitchen sink did this strange trick of starting cold, then slowing to a trickle as it heated up, then stopping altogether. Perhaps because of this, some of the dishes in the closet were a bit greasy.
Location was brilliant. Had all the facilities needed for a large family. Dish washer, washing machine. 3 bathrooms. Was very warm and cosy. Lift to get all the luggage up. Beds comfy and linen clean. Plenty of cooking utensils.
The plumbing drove us nuts. All the sinks blocked. Oven very dated. Needed hanging space in each bedroom. The shower pulsates so have had a couple of cold showers.
Amazing location. Everything within walking distance. Beautiful piazza Navona in front of the house. Big and beautiful living room, two bathrooms. Good heating.
Poor lighting, it was always dim. Extra sofabed, when opened, blocked way to the other bedroom. Lots of noise at night from the street at night. Shower very small and water temperature changes from cold to very hot on its own.
Very close to Piazza Navona and restaurants, while on a quiet and charming street.
The kitchen was a little small, and the apartment was really best for no more than two people. As we were two, that worked out fine, but any more would have felt crowded. The apartment is in an old building and had what real estate people would refer to as "charm".
Location to city, restaurants etc. We loved our visit to Rome comments below observations and did not in the end spoil our trip.
The apt was apart of a number of properties that go under one company, websites show's a number of different properties photos so is misleading and the apartment was not in the actual position we thought we had booked. No WiFi in apt which again misleading. Had to pay 40 Euros only made clear near the end of booking process for cleaning of apartment which we felt was excessive. Thought apt would benefit from an itinary save searching for items particularly the kitchen. A toaster would also be beneficial instead of having to use the oven each time which really made more of a mess to clean.
Paola was a fantastic host. We had a BIG problem with the endless flight of steep steps in the first apartment on offer, but last minute, after a couple of hours searching she really came through with a good solution in Campo Dei Fiori. Location was great, still too many steps, but hey, it was Rome and when in Rome... :-)
The steps leading to the house with 2 small kids and all the accessories needed! The main toilet was seemingly connected to the sewers. The smell was so bad it made our eyes water, literally. We had to use the small toilet next to the kitchen. TV did not work, but i bought a small piece for the antenna and fixed it
The best advantage of the flat is its localization, old stylish building in the center of Rome, flat was large with terrace, excellent for 6 people, the price was very reasonable.
Flat should be refreshed as it was not very clean, and the kitchen should be disinfected as there was a lots of small ants. We spend most of time outside so we do not care much but all food we left for the night we have to throw out. The service was a big mess, I had other flat booked by booking.com and the other confirmed by agency. When I try to explain the situation by the help of booking.com agency said that I agreed for changing a flat what was not true. When we got to apartment, after two hours a key-keeper lady came to as saying we “have to change apartment as she made mistake and someone else was to stay there”. We had a great time in Rome and the localization of flat was very good, but I would not recommend it for my friends if they do not want to have any problems. But if you want cheap flat in good localizations you may risk.
The apartment is in an excellent location. Walked to every major site in Rome . Comfortably fit our family of five.
Some mold in kitchen and bathroom . No drier rack for clothes. Had to spread out on chairs.
Near to all the tourist sites....walking distance only to the sights....we took bus only once...all can be reach by foot even termini station.
No official receipt for our rent payment.
Staff Added expenses that wasn't on booking.com in the first place Accepting cash in only for the extra costs!
Location - could walk to all tourist attractions. Traditional Roman building.
Bar opposite was noisy - fine by us, but be prepared to join them. Kitchen was traditional (no kettle, microwave) .
The living room and bedroom were lovely and spacious. Kitchen well equipped for cooking. Interesting books on shelves. Easy access from street for visitors.
The kitchen was small and a bit crammed and bathroom opened onto kitchen. No sharp knife. Construction work woke us up early.
Very nice flat, design, excellent location. Recommended when traveling with friends.
Not clean fridge not working due to freezer compartment frozen door did not close
Great location. Free wifi. Very good reception from key holder. Quiet when windows shut. Good air condition.
Not 70m2. Probably 45. Very small shower/toilet. No hot water in kitchen (leak when opened). Electrical plugs in kitchen loose. Living room small when bed used.
The location was fab around the corner from piazza navona. We stayed on the premier apartment, it was perfect modern and very clean. Was on a lovely little street full of bars and restaurants....we will definatley be staying here again!!!!
The only thing was the sofa bed mattress was a little thin so you could feel the metal under your back, but wasn't that much of a problem as we just put the mattress on the floor.
The location is excellent about less than 30 minutes from all the main Rome attractions.
The appartment is old (it's supposed to be vintage but it's not, it's old and consumed). The floor has broken ceramics! The sheets were clearly used up, they smelled aweful!! The curtains also had the same smell, as if nothing had been washed up before our arrival. I'm not sure where is the source of the smell, but it's unbarable. There where 2 bathrooms but one of them didn't have hot water (I contacted their number through SMS but no one responded). The kitchen utilities were sufficient (not very clean at our arrivle though), the water in the sink was very weak!
Loved the place, location, decor spaciousness. The bedroom was quiet, I don't know what people sleeping in the living room bed would have to endure. The Piazza is very lively and noisy. But would go back anytime.
The kitchen and utensils were less than adecuate. A thin film of grease covered everything. The coffee pot had to be helped or it did not work. There was not even a tea towel. Smells from the garbage in the ground floor deposit wafted up. We were kept waiting almost an hour when we arrived. The day we left we did not know if we could or could not leave the bags there. Poor coordination between the staff.
