The location was fab around the corner from piazza navona. We stayed on the premier apartment, it was perfect modern and very clean. Was on a lovely little street full of bars and restaurants....we will definatley be staying here again!!!!
The only thing was the sofa bed mattress was a little thin so you could feel the metal under your back, but wasn't that much of a problem as we just put the mattress on the floor.
The location is excellent about less than 30 minutes from all the main Rome attractions.
The appartment is old (it's supposed to be vintage but it's not, it's old and consumed). The floor has broken ceramics! The sheets were clearly used up, they smelled aweful!! The curtains also had the same smell, as if nothing had been washed up before our arrival. I'm not sure where is the source of the smell, but it's unbarable. There where 2 bathrooms but one of them didn't have hot water (I contacted their number through SMS but no one responded). The kitchen utilities were sufficient (not very clean at our arrivle though), the water in the sink was very weak!
Loved the place, location, decor spaciousness. The bedroom was quiet, I don't know what people sleeping in the living room bed would have to endure. The Piazza is very lively and noisy. But would go back anytime.
The kitchen and utensils were less than adecuate. A thin film of grease covered everything. The coffee pot had to be helped or it did not work. There was not even a tea towel. Smells from the garbage in the ground floor deposit wafted up. We were kept waiting almost an hour when we arrived. The day we left we did not know if we could or could not leave the bags there. Poor coordination between the staff.
Proximity of this Via Governo apartment was fabulous. Right in the geart of a vibrant restaurant and bar area. We walked to a different major attraction from here every day without and trouble.
Towels were a bit worn and the 4th floor apartment was a very long way to haul luggage -approx 80 stairs
The location is very central, the apartment very beautifully decorated. The view from the terrace is amazing. Airconditioning worked well.
To get to the apartment you must use a tiny two person old lift that is difficult to use and certainly not for the claustrophobic. Otherwise you must climb seven flights of stairs with the top flight a scary steep iron balustrade. Stairwell not properly lit. Toilet not working on arrival, but repaired by staff. No internet very inconvenient.
The apartement is located on the first floor, on top of several pubs and bars. The bars serves alcohol outside and closes at 4.00 am. For a family with children this is not an apporpriate location.
the location, the streets behind the apartment, the size of the apartments
just need to fix the shower and replace the crockery
staff no elevator not clean need updates.
One set of keys for 3 friends, this is not conveniant at all
Location Spacious apartment for rome Clean
Small bathroom Had to wait 40 minutes on street on arrival for staff to arrive, despite ringing
Apartment is beautiful! Exactly what you imagine life in Rome to be. Incredible architecture and amenities. Very close to the pantheon and walking distance from St. Peter's square, Vatican City and the coliseum. Close to all amenities. Even had a medical emergency and had wonderful people to help us get an ambulance as well as service at the hospital. Staff speaks English well.
Reminder to bring your own toilet paper, hand soap etc. the kitchen is not fully stocked for a large group ie. glasses are limited and no bowls. Elevator was not functioning during our stay so if you need it, make sure to mention before you arrive.
Staff treat like the delay in the passport control is your fault., you are not allowed to go to checking in checking time interval, they give you a time and expect you to be there in time.
The location was perfect!
The linen and kitchen supplies were poor.....no wine glasses! Really in italy.
The place is very spacious with beautiful furniture and gorgeous ceilings. It is in a very nice neighborhood just across from Trastevere.
I did not find the staff very helpful. We were given a key that did not belong to the apartment and one of the group was locked out of the apt. When we related this to one of the staff she did not even apologize.
Very Italian accommodation, clean had every thing close to restaurants and piazza navone
Very difficult to find needs clothes pegs
location, big rooms
neighbouring houses are old, living room was to dark, acces to the apartment by private car not possible
Excellent location in proximity of Piazza Navona. Walking distance from all main turist attractions and sites. However in a road full of restaurants and bars, non recommended if you wish to sleep at night!!
Where to start? Air conditioning is assumed be there but it consists of two mobile units connected by plastic tube vent to a hole in the window; the end of the tube is fixed with some tape that stop working because of the vent heat .. thus detaching and discharging hot air back into the room thus defeating the objective. The shower is a real treat if you like very cold water... the boiler stops more than once during the shower, the three of us never had a shower without having to restart the boiler twice as minimum. Do not know if it ever been serviced!! All doors consist of frosted glass panels; master bedroom has double doors one of which did not have any glass panel .. just large holes. It would not have taken too long to replace the missing frosted glass panel before renting the place!! A master bedroom without a door is the unpleasant result. If you rent this place do not bring dresses or trousers with you .. there is no wardrobe in the flat .. just an ancient trunk that is decorative but of no service at all. If you wish to close the window shutter, good luck, watch for the handles pieces will remain in your hands. Bring ear muff with you. The noise from the street below goes long way into the night with the more than occasional performing musicians. Obviously this is not a fault of the rental accommodation but better know.
Location was in excellent-could walk to many places without public transport example piazza navona. Apartment was quite comfortable and decor good. The guy who met us gave us some good information on arrival and spoke English well and was very pleasant.
Wash basin not fixed adequately. Wash basin leaked and could not use it. Thought the apartment could have been cleaner. Paying 30 Euros for getting there after 10pm.
Location was great. The apartment was spacious. Quiet.
The key holder showed up 45 min late to meet us so we waited outside. There is only 1 bathroom which has a glass window in the door and we had to cover it with a towel. The shower door was falling off. There was no toilet paper or soap. The beds were rock hard and you could feel the springs in the mattresses. The water in the shower changed from hot to freezing cold for no reason. The air conditioners did not work well because they fillers were never cleaned so my husband had to take them out and clean them and also add water to them. This should be checked by the manager between guests. There was a glass pane missing in the door of the master bedroom.
Location is perfect! The whole historic centrum is walking distance and also Vatican. The apartment had own terrace at rooftop, it was very nice. And apartment was overall cozy.
The keyholder was 15 minutes late when we arrived. On our last night we,had problems with electricity and because we couldn't fix the fuse, we called at the hotel emergency number that the key holder had given us. The same person answered but was very rude because it was 10pm and tha person was sleeping. So service could be a lot better, or maybe it was only this particular person.
Location. Furniture and style of the apartment.
No TV...the Sky card had been removed. Two requests for a card ignored.
The area and roof terrace is great.
Check in was delayed, despite calling one hour in advanced as mentioned by agency. Key holder was engaged in a "very complicated" check in with another client and claimed we where booked for 1 pm check in, so we could wait in front of the door or have an ice cream...The flat is old and inventory rather used, but all clean.
We travelled with our 5 children 1, 5, 14, 16 & 18. The apartment was top floor but had a lift. Well equipped with dishwasher and washing machine. Beds comfortable and apartment clean. Great location as everything in walking distance. Nice roof terrace but we didn't use it as the little one is too active and was worried he would climb the barrier. It was super hot when we were there and the aircon was essential! Kids were also impressed with the free wifi!!
Good Location. Large apt.
Poorly maintained. Poor drainage in all bathrooms. Bad smell in all bathrooms. Couch was broken. No soap.
Spacious 2 bedroom apartment with a great location and amenities- big comfy towels and pillows, very comfortable air conditioning which is a must in July! Being near Piazza Navona was a big plus- we were able to walk to many sites. It felt like we were coming home after the long days of site seeing.
We could have used a more extended info. sheet ( such as the excellent bakery mentioned in the last review- we didn't know about that).
