Tiny stair well without lighting on the lower floors, carrying lugguage up 6 flights of stairs without any assistance. No wi-fi at all, no tv, no cd player, broken tiles in the kitchen area crunching under your feet, hot water ran out after one person had a quick shower, airconditioner dripped so much water outside on the terrace that there was constantly a soaking wet floor, extremely small, shocking value for money and I have stayed in many apartments in rome but this had to be the worst ever, I would never book through rome sweet room via booking.com again !!!!
Everything was perfect and the person who greeted was very nice and helpful . Cleaning was OK . Wi-fi worked very well.
We are on the fifth floor with No Elevator
It was an excellent Location. Near everything.
The apartment was not in good condition. There was water damage by the windows, curtains torn, ceiling wires exposed, building shabby. I expected a nicer place from the pictures and for the money.
We couldn't have been in a better location. The convenience of the location plus having a kitchen made the value amazing. The staff was friendly and the living areas comfortable.
It wasn't as clean as we'd have preferred. We also didn't realize we would be responsible to provide our own toilet paper, paper towels and trash bags.
Very very dirty, staff attitude was rude, flush toilet did NOT work, showering facilities were awful, the second bed was an uncomfortable sofa, we found towels of the previous guests, there was no heating, and the best of all?... Electricity power was off when we used a hair dryer. The key holder took the money from the first day (that's the policy) and didn't even care!
Great location, walking distance to everything, great welcome from staff and intro guide.
Good location everything are in a walk-distance. Really clean and well-equipped kitchen.
The street was too noisy in every early morning we always woke up before 5am.
The best thing about this apartment was its location, and there was plenty of room for 6 of us. The Supermarket over the road was very handy.
There was some early morning delivery noise associated with the supermarket, but this was a minor issue really.
Location, bed was quite comfortable
This was an apartment. There were 4 drinking glasses and 1 was badly cracked. The kitchen and living room floors were filthy. Lights in the bathroom did not work. Staff attitude was unpleasant, verging on nasty, on the phone when we arrived in Rome.
Location is very good
Need to clean floor & toilet
Airiness of apartment and position
Showers not great
Lovely and very big Apartment with balcony and plenty of facilities: Iron board, hair dryer, washing machine, hangers for clothes, bathroom, spcy kitchen with everything you might need etc. Also a lift to bring the suitcases up to the 5, floor. Simple key system. supermarked 5 minutes down the road and a farmacy also. TV with only italian channels but hundreds of them. Best part: the amazing wonderful staff that showed up on the agreed time to handle us the keys on a late evening and coached us through taxi bookings in Rome etc. all the way from ur arrival in the airport and were absolutely helpful and lovely to us. Made the trip twice as nice! Fantastic location right Next to the easy metro and in walking distance from just everything in the old town. To be recommended for everyone. hotel, excellent staff, view fantastic over the local lake. Perfect wifi-system for free - internet worked with no problems over the whole week we lived here. Good Space and lots of furnitures in all the rooms. Supermarkets nearby for supplies you might need. 5 min. walk from train station
Maybe an idea to install one og two English language TV channels but this of course we can find on the computer, a very minor thing in this beautiful city and this amazing hotel Apartment. We will absolutely return as guests here next time we go to Rome.
The location, comfortable for five persons
There is no choise to leave your luaggage after your check out. We must leave the apartament in 10 o'clock in the morning and our flight was in 21.45. There is no WI-FI in apartament on Via Sistina 132.
Telephone liaison on arrival an anxiety No corkscrew!
Apartment is close to piazza Barberini.
Apartment is dark (bathroom in front of bedroom before windows), terrace is loud (other A/Cs). 'The apartment is generally run down: hardly any water pressure in kitchen and bathroom, coffee machine incomplete, basket of dishwasher did not fit in dishwasher, bottle container in fridge missing. The apartment must have been nice three years ago.
The paintings and atmosphere in the interior of the apartment. The kitchen equipment, the spacious rooms.
The poor info on the website, the Italian ONLY channels in the TV set, the noise and smells coming from the windows all viewing backyard spaces. The non negotiable checkout at 10.00, the distant agent office ( only way to store the languages before flight. No wifi was also a big issue.
The location was OK, close to the historic centre, near bus stops and shops.
The appt was very dark : no day light in the living room. The major bathroom was old and not well taken care of. The third bed was a sofabed which was placed in the dining room which was too small to have a bed all the time. The kitchen was very basic.
The apartment is obviously someones home, and has a real Italian feel to it. It was well equipped and located centrally so all major attractions were within half an hours travel and it was surrounded by reasonably priced, good restaurants and shops. I would definitely go again.
We struggled to check in because we had not been given all of the telephone information to contact the key holder. They had missed off the local dialing codes and we were left waiting on a busy street with our luggage for quite sometime. There could be a lot of traffic noise at times and the nearby churches began ringing bells at 6:45 am every morning.
Location and facilities
Beds could have been more comfy
Showering facilities very cramped.
The staff were very professional and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. We will come back on our next vacation to Rome.
The man who came to the property to let us in was very nice. The location was close to everything that we needed and the train station.
The rude woman who answered the phone as no one payed attention to my email which stated our groups arrival time. The hot water heater wasn't working properly- cold showers were no fun for 6 women:( the upstairs a/c was broken and started to make weird noises when we trying to sleep. Seems as the only concern of Rome sweet R ome was to get the money and no regard towards the issues about the water or a/c problems. Will not be back to Rome as there was nothing hospitable about the city or place we stayed.
It was a fabulous location to stay in. The apartment was well located and furnished.
Checkin process was not good at all. We were made to wait on the street for over 30 mins inspite of letting the agency know in advance. The apartment could do with some more stuff like garbage bags, toilet paper, adequate blankets etc. The location is a lil misleading. It is at Piazza del Popolo and not Spanish steps.
