We stayed on Via Del Corso which was within easy walking distance of the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Piazza Navona and even only 15 minute walk to the Colosseum, and the person that greeted us at check in took the time to walk us through a map of Rome and provide recommendations for restaurants. The apartment was clean and well presented apart from the weird smell. Location was the main factor in the appeal of this apartment.
There was a terrible smell in the apartment that was difficult to take at times.
good apartment in good location, easy check in and very helpful staff.
wifi is poor. kitchen facilities need to be improved and more clean
Great location for art lovers . You can walk to many galleries and churches from here . Beds are very comfortable and there is a lovely private terrace
Front bedroom very noisy but I had ear muffs which helped .
Couldn't ask for better location - every attraction in walking distance, best shopping in the area, plenty of nice restaurants & coffee shops. Supermarket 3 min walk. Apartment fairly clean; each bedroom has its own toilet/shower.
Two rooms of a nice size and ok size bathrooms, while the third room is very small and the bathroom is absolutely tiny! For my 2 kids of 10 & 11 it was just ok, but won't be suitable for adults. Also beds are not comfortable and winter blankets werent very clean. Washing machine & dishwasher are outdated, but ok for basic washing. Overall it was pretty good and we would definitely recommend this apartment.
The key keeper was pleasant and helpful in difficult circumstances.
We were moved after two nights in a terrible apartment. The standard of cleanliness and finish of the first apartments was not acceptable, the stench of sewage which got increasing worse was terrible. We were greeted by another apartment dweller in the unit block - who wished us good luck as we waited for the keys to be let in - should have twigged then. The second apartment was better. It was rated as a luxury apartment; however the beds were poor and the finishes not what we would suggest anything more than an ok apartment. The office staff didn't apologise or offer any rebate; we didn't ask either - as we were just pleased to have moved to a livable apartment - but we couldn't recommend the company.
The location, sufficient space, good security, nice kitchen.
Bed uncomfortable. Wi-Fi very poor.
This apartment was really dirty . when i booked it show me different pictures then the real apartment . this not comfortable for 6 persons just for four . I´ts on 3rd floor but you have to go trough 8 stairs , no elevator , dirty building access .only one bathroom .
Hospitality of the landlord of the flat. They contact us for a couple of time but they don't disturb us
Location is excellent, easy to go everywhere. Apartment is spacious.
We have to drag our luggages to 3th floor with 5 flights of stairs, it was a tendious work out. The place is not that clean, one of the toilet cover was broken, the kitchen utensils are dirty, the water kettle is fulled of white sediment sticking inside the pot( we just realized it the last day after having used it for the whole trip), gross. They only provide 1 toilet paper in each bathroom, ran out of that in the middle of the night with no supply!
location key handling staff
general cleanliness (too much dust)
The location on the Via Del Corso was absolutely perfect. The flat was very clean.
Bedroom heater did not work at all making for chilly conditions. Kitchen needs a microwave. Even a relatively small one would be a help. Bathroom logistics were clumsy for 5 adults.
There can be no doubt the actual location is great, right near the trevi fountain and central to much that Rome has to offer.
The administration of the apartment was poor, they incorrectly charged us and we are still experiencing problems in gaining a refund. No wifi is an issue with anyone travelling today, this definitely needs to be addressed.
Tiny stair well without lighting on the lower floors, carrying lugguage up 6 flights of stairs without any assistance. No wi-fi at all, no tv, no cd player, broken tiles in the kitchen area crunching under your feet, hot water ran out after one person had a quick shower, airconditioner dripped so much water outside on the terrace that there was constantly a soaking wet floor, extremely small, shocking value for money and I have stayed in many apartments in rome but this had to be the worst ever, I would never book through rome sweet room via booking.com again !!!!
Everything was perfect and the person who greeted was very nice and helpful . Cleaning was OK . Wi-fi worked very well.
We are on the fifth floor with No Elevator
It was an excellent Location. Near everything.
The apartment was not in good condition. There was water damage by the windows, curtains torn, ceiling wires exposed, building shabby. I expected a nicer place from the pictures and for the money.
We couldn't have been in a better location. The convenience of the location plus having a kitchen made the value amazing. The staff was friendly and the living areas comfortable.
It wasn't as clean as we'd have preferred. We also didn't realize we would be responsible to provide our own toilet paper, paper towels and trash bags.
Very very dirty, staff attitude was rude, flush toilet did NOT work, showering facilities were awful, the second bed was an uncomfortable sofa, we found towels of the previous guests, there was no heating, and the best of all?... Electricity power was off when we used a hair dryer. The key holder took the money from the first day (that's the policy) and didn't even care!
Great location, walking distance to everything, great welcome from staff and intro guide.
Good location everything are in a walk-distance. Really clean and well-equipped kitchen.
The street was too noisy in every early morning we always woke up before 5am.
The best thing about this apartment was its location, and there was plenty of room for 6 of us. The Supermarket over the road was very handy.
There was some early morning delivery noise associated with the supermarket, but this was a minor issue really.
Location, bed was quite comfortable
This was an apartment. There were 4 drinking glasses and 1 was badly cracked. The kitchen and living room floors were filthy. Lights in the bathroom did not work. Staff attitude was unpleasant, verging on nasty, on the phone when we arrived in Rome.
Location is very good
Need to clean floor & toilet
Airiness of apartment and position
Showers not great
Lovely and very big Apartment with balcony and plenty of facilities: Iron board, hair dryer, washing machine, hangers for clothes, bathroom, spcy kitchen with everything you might need etc. Also a lift to bring the suitcases up to the 5, floor. Simple key system. supermarked 5 minutes down the road and a farmacy also. TV with only italian channels but hundreds of them. Best part: the amazing wonderful staff that showed up on the agreed time to handle us the keys on a late evening and coached us through taxi bookings in Rome etc. all the way from ur arrival in the airport and were absolutely helpful and lovely to us. Made the trip twice as nice! Fantastic location right Next to the easy metro and in walking distance from just everything in the old town. To be recommended for everyone. hotel, excellent staff, view fantastic over the local lake. Perfect wifi-system for free - internet worked with no problems over the whole week we lived here. Good Space and lots of furnitures in all the rooms. Supermarkets nearby for supplies you might need. 5 min. walk from train station
Maybe an idea to install one og two English language TV channels but this of course we can find on the computer, a very minor thing in this beautiful city and this amazing hotel Apartment. We will absolutely return as guests here next time we go to Rome.
