Occupying a beautiful 19th-century building, the hotel is in the center of the Eternal City, just a few steps from Piazza di Spagna and the wonderful Fori of Imperial Rome.

Friendly staff. Good amenities. Very close to public transport and hop on hop off bus your stop. I could walk to Vatican and some other places of interest. Close to nice restaurants. I was very pleased.
Nothing to complain about really. Shared bathroom was a concern at first but it was cleaned every day and it was always free when I needed to use it.
Very kind staff and perfect Location near to the station st.pietro and Vatican. Facilities and wifi connection works very well.
The owner is lovely and very helpful. Great location, near the Vatican, and bus/metro station. LIked that you could adjust the temperature of the air conditioning.
Could hear everything in the hallway/lift/main breakfast room. Echo's +++ so you can never sleep in too long. Air conditioner made lots of noise in the night so I had to turn it off. Would be nice to have some variety in the breakfast meal.
S. Pietro House is a nice furnished flat with 4 comfortable rooms and a shared terrace. From our balcony we could see the Vatican which is only about 5 to 7 minutes walk. The bus 64, which is just round the corner infront if the train station takes you to the termini where we got on alot of buses to see places and for the drive. It is wise to get a week bus ticket worth 24 euros which you can also use for the metro. We visited most of all the great places in Rome and also got the Vatican tour which was amazing. From S. Pietro House you can go by walk near River Tiber which is nice in the evening. Vincenzo, the owner of the resort was very helpful and we would like to thank him for waiting for us till 3 am after our flight was delayed. He gave us tips regarding where to visit and also about shops. Breakfast was the traditional croissant washed down with the marvellous Italian espresso. Also Vincenzo prepares jam and butter together with biscotti. Fruit is in a bowl in the middle of the table to help yourself. I would recommend this resort for people visiting Rome. Its value for money....well do not expect a 5 star hotel...its enough to sleep, shower and have a small breakfast before you start the day roaming around beautiful Rome.
There is nothing to comment about as we got what we paid.
The view from the balcony is amazing. Vincenzo was welcoming, friendly, and very helpful. The apartment is safe, clean, and well kept. We really enjoyed our stay!
Wifi was a bit slow.
We are a family of 5 with children ages 15, 12, and 7. We drove from the Netherlands to Rome and the owner, Vicenzo, helped us reserve a spot in a private parking garage just a block away from the apartment. We were welcomed with a bottle of nice white wine upon arrival. The 5th floor apartment was clean and roomy with a great view of the Vatican and the kids were happy with the fast wifi. It provided comforts of home with a full kitchen (no microwave), espresso machine with coffee, clothes washer, and air conditioning which was great for the July heat. The building has an elevator for convenience of transporting luggage or other big and heavy items. The apartment was in walking distance to many sites, the metro, restaurants, and shops (a bakery and fresh vegetable stores beneath the apartment, along with Carrfours nearby as well as many restaurants and other specialty stores). We enjoyed our stay and if we return to Italy, we hope to stay here again.
The pictures of the apartment posted online were not of the apartment we expected to stay, however, we were very happy with the accommodations.
The owner is really friendly and helpful. The accommodation is close to a bus stop and a short walk away from St Peters Cathedral and the Vatican. Very clean and secure.
Really next to the Vatican city!
The guest house is a little far away from the nearest metro station. The balcony is sheared by all guest rooms, so the privacy is limited.
The location and guidance of vinsenzo ( similar ... Sorry for my bad memory) the owner of the b&b is excellent. You feel like you are in your own apartment but with touch of very good hospitality
-Location is very good and secure - walking distance to St. Pietro. -Vicenzo is very helpful, arranges airport pick-up and drop-off at request. -Internet is available free of charge.
- Very noisy neighborhood due to the train station and traffic in its proximity. Almost impossible to sleep in the morning. - Cleanliness was an issue: bed sheets were not changed during our stay. Shared bathrooms were not cleaned daily. - Breakfast inconsistent - sometimes good.
Beds very uncomfortable, toilet seat was broken.
A LIKE THE POSITION AND THE ROOM VERY BIG
Close to bus & train station - lots of restaurants & take-a-way food places nearby - easy walk to Vatican - Vincenzo very helpful even went & bought us some juice & bread when he realised its was too late for us to buy at supermarket
No living area - large bedroom served as living area & bedroom small TV
Very clean. Great location. Perfect service.
Great! Friendly hosts, good location, very neat and clean.
Vincenzo (the owner) was very kind and helpful. The place was spotless and had great facilities alongide being about 5 minutes from the Vatican City. There is a bus stop right outside that will take you to all the key places in Rome. I met some really cool people and had such a relaxing time! Definitely will book again! Rachel, London
Let's see, the room was very comfortable, the view was sensational, espresso + cig on the balcony looking over Vatican in the morning was a postcard snapshot. Fruit shop and bakery is left and right to the building. Without hesitation I'll be back.
Owner of the hotel was very kind and helpful. Lovely service :). Felt very at home and welcome!
Very clean pretty rooms and a beautiful bathroom.
Did not get access to Wi-Fi
The location, the overall service was good.
The breakfast was unexistant.
- Cool location in residential flat - Very good (free) coffee - Stable Wifi connection - Awesome view from balcony - Friendly and helpful owner
- Breakfast very basic - Sometimes cold shower - Difficult to find
The owner was really friendly.Didnt charged for late check in.All the furnitures and a bath are brand new.Amazing view from kitchen balcony
Close to the Vatican
I thought it was a hotel, but it was just a few rooms in a block of apartments where people live - spoilt the feeling of being on holidays
This was our first trip to Rome and thanks to Vincenzo (the owner of this resort) it will not be our last. The room was perfect in every way!, the view of the Vatican was breathtaking and it was brilliant to be able to sit and watch the local residents go about there daily business... The shared kitchen/dining area was equipped with everything we needed, plus Vincenzo showed us how to use the coffeemaker to make fresh espresso and cappuccinos when ever we liked. The room and en-suite were perfect and were always kept clean with clean bedding and fresh towels each day. The room felt very safe and secure as you had to access through 2 set's of security gates/doors before reaching the hotel door and our room, which also had a safe to use if needed. The nearby supermarket enabled us to enjoy fresh food on our balcony at night or in the morning before setting off to see more sights, which Vincenzo provided a fridge for guests to use. Each morning Vincenzo also prepared a continental breakfast and fresh coffee which you could either have in the shared dining area or in the privacy of your room/balcony!... The location was perfect for seeing all of the main sites in Rome, especially the Vatican, being a 5 minute stroll away... the local restaurants were great and very easy to find as where the gift shops. Vincenzo supplied us with a tourist map that we used throughout our stay, he also arranged our airport transfer for a great price that took away the headache of getting to the airport on time on the final day. We were genuinely so pleased with the hotel and Vincenzo's hospitality that we cannot think of any negative comments. We would highly recommend San Pietro House to anyone wishing to have a lovely, peaceful and memorable stay in Rome. A very big thanks to Vincenzo "speranza di vedervi presto...grazie per la vostra ospitalità"
