Hotel Sa Muvara  

The hotel was in a great location for touring the inner Sardinia. The staff were very helpful and friendly. We were given an upgrade without asking and the room was superb. We would love to return at some point. The food is very good - typical Sardinian menu - we had to ask for smaller portions! The pool area is lovely with plenty of sun beds for a relax after touring. The hotle has lots of character with art work inside and out. The gardens are very well kept with beautiful plants.

A fabulous hotel with top quality facilities and excellent staff. The hotel setting is magnificent and with a lovely large room and equally expansive and well kitted out balcony we had a very comfortable and relaxing stay. The pool is large and well served with beds, parasols and it's own bar. The well-equipped gym was excellent and the food at breakfast and in the evening made good use of local produce.

A very minor criticism was that the promised air conditioning was controlled centrally and we were advised that regulations in the mountains meant that it was only put on when temperatures reached a certain level. At the price per room charged and with air conditioning advertised I would have thought that we would be able to make our own decisions about when and when not to put it on.

Staff were friendly and helpful. Sense of purpose and cheerfulness. Very comfortable, generously sized room with excellent balcony. Pool area beautiful. Staff tending/cleaning facilities constantly. Service in restaurant helpful and quick.

It was possible for someone to smoke on the balcony next to us, with only a trellis between us. This spoilt our enjoyment of our own balcony.

The Hotel is high in the mountains. The room was wonderful - big terrace, much space and views out over those mountains. Broadly the facilities are good or better: excellent pool, good gym, etc. All this comes with some disadvantages: the local village has little to recommend it and nowhere else decent to eat; other villages are a distance away along deeply curved roads. This makes you dependent on the Hotel's Dining Room which is overly preoccupied with encouraging you to eat one of its 3 Menu Turistici: these are (from the 'smallest') 'enormous', 'excessive' and 'way-over-the top' (measured by quantities of food served) and of indifferent quality. Ordering off the main menu is much more successful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Suggestions for improvements include: 1) placing WiFi Extenders so that the pool area and the bar/terrace downstairs are decently covered (currently only the main lobby is sufficiently reliable) 2) offering some modest food from the bar by the pool/garden area 3) simplifying and reducing the food quantities in the Menus Turistici while improving the quality.

Food in the restaurant was surprisingly poor and there is no decent alternative in Aritzo. Also, breakfast was poor. No English tv channels.

E' immerso nela natura, con la possibilità di praticare trekking, ma anche di rilassarsi in una confortevole piscina

Non sono abituati ad affrontare il gran caldo, e nelle giornate in cui abbiamo soggiornato abbimo sofferto il caldo

Todo o staff é magnifico na forma como nos tratou. Senti que o cliente está acima de qualquer outra coisa. Desde o pessoal da recepção, bar, restaurante, piscina, inclusive director com o qual tive oportunidade de falar durante a minha estadia de 3 dias. 5*****

Não havia ninguem na recepção no momento em que cheguei, 2 pm, devia ter avisado que chegava mais tarde o que não implica que na recepção não se encontre ninguem. Apesar de tudo, 30 minutos depois, apareceu o Marco e com a sua disponibilidade e simpatia resolveu tudo.

Mooie kamer met een groot terras. De eetzaal was heel gezellig. Prima kaart. Fijn zwembad.

Hotel fantastico, camere grandi e dotate di tutti I comfort. Posizione bellissima ai piedi del bosco di castagni e con una vista favoloso. Buona la colazione. Consigliato

é la terza vado che ho il piacere di trascorrere 2 giorni all'ahotel Sa Muvara e trovo sempre tutta la struttura in ordine e la pulizia ė eccezionale

Die Zimmer sind sehr geräumig und wunderschön eingerichtet. Das Frühstück ist ebenfalls empfehlenswert, das beste am Hotel ist jedoch das Abendessen (Halbpension). Anders als in den meistens Hotels kann man nicht nur aus 3 Speisen pro Gang wählen, sondern bekommt alle Varianten in großer Menge zum Kosten vorgesetzt! Excellentes Essen - top!

Die Wellness-Dusche war leider undicht!

de locatie, prachtige grote kamer met heel groot balkon met een tafel met vier stoelen en twee ligbedden, het zwembad, de vriendelijkheid van het personeel, mogelijkheid om te internetten, ontzettend lekker eten, geweldig ontbijt. Kortom: we gaan zeker nog een keer terug. Advies voor andere reizigers: halfpension kiezen!! Ontzettend gevarieerd en lekker eten.
