The town is also perfectly situated for visiting other areas in both Tuscany and Umbria, from Montepulciano to Gubbio to Assisi, all just an hour away. This warm and friendly family-run hotel is simply but tastefully furnished and you are sure to enjoy the delicious homemade breakfasts which are served daily. Wonderful place to stay in Cortona Italy. And very much the place to eat dinner. This is the best place in all of Italy to eat. The food is amazing and the cook is the owner herself. She is a very hard working woman but so kind and gracious. We will stay here again when we go back to Cortona.

The location is excellent and the wi-fi worked very well. The bed was fine and the room a good size, something you can never tell in these old hotels. The room was very clean. The view was of walls, pipes and roof tops, so nothing to speak of. The staff was great when they were around. The breakfast was in the "sister" hotel about a block away. The weather was great so it was not a problem to walk, but we thought it might have been better to stay at the other hotel. It is definitely a "European" hotel, which you can read old and somewhat charming.

We made our reservation at the Hotel Sabrina but ended up staying at the Dolce Maria b&b, that is owned by the same family. So, my review should actually be about the Dolce Maria, not the Sabrina.

The hotel staff were fabulous in every way and the restaurant is absolutely first-rate -- an incredible gem and one that should not be missed. My favorite meals in Italy were at Paola's restaurant! Wonderful experience all around. Can't recommend it highly enough for a wonderful Tuscan experience that is affordable and special.

Praticamente mi è piaciuto tutto, ospitale,camere pulite e confortevoli.Il personale gentile e disponibile.La cucina del ristorante gestito sempre da soliti proprietari veramente eccelente.Lo consiglio a tutte le famiglie con bamabini.
