Siria, thanks for the super sweet reception, your great tips and all practical help!! We have greatly enjoyed your beautiful B&B, your very personal offers! So characterful decorated, beautiful roof terrace, but especially the welcome help from Siria, On our next visite to Rome we certainly come back in your B&B! Ann & Steven
It's really sky terrace! Wonderful place, great staff, very friendly and helpful!
Yes, water pipes are really loud, but who cares? You are in Rome!
The location is excellent for visiting the Vatican. Just up from the B & B is an awesome restaurant with some of the best food I've eaten and at a great price! The B & B is beautiful a most impressive interior. The breakfast was great and the young lady(sorry forgotten her name) who was there was so helpful.
Travelled to St Peters with 2 boys aged 13 & 14 and the warm welcome we received from Siria set the tone for our 5 days in Rome. The room was delightful, the terrace upstairs beautiful with comfy rattan seating, dining table & masses of pots filled with geraniums and tumbling petunias (we even had takeaway Chinese up there on 1 night). Continental Breakfast every morning was made by lovely Hector who was just brilliant. Filled with knowledge about his beloved city not to mention his hospitality, helpfulness and great hot chocolate! Would highly recommend St Peter Sky Terrace but book quickly as this little gem only has 3 rooms. It felt like we were always the only guests there - a real home from home.
Nothing it was perfect for us
Detail!!... every detail was attended to from the welcome, the space, the staff, to breakfast... What a WONDERFUL stay!!
Really nice place, especially if you travel with young children, as they can play in wonderful terrace, while you can relax. It is not exactly a hotel, but a beautiful apartment with separate rooms. It is not difficult to find it, the address is correct and that is an entrance.
Nice clean place. Great staff!! Good location.
A litle bit hard to find.
The location was quite good. It was very close to St. Peter's, obviously, with handy access to bus routes. Not yet very used to hotels and B&Bs in Italy, we thought, oh, the street's not very nice. But we're getting the hang of that, and once we were there, it seemed like a perfectly friendly neighbourhood. The staff was very friendly and worked to help us. The bed was very low to the ground, but extremely comfortable. The water pressure in the shower was terrific.
On check-in, we couldn't get in for an hour because the employee to meet us was stuck in traffic. She was profusely apologetic. It is just a bit unfortunate that it isn't staffed 24 hours. We were VERY lucky that someone let us into the building, because it was 30 degrees in the sun outside, and we'd just travelled for so long. We were exhausted and melting. Improved lighting is necessary for returning to the hotel at night. It was pitch black from the door to the room, and there is no hall light in the area of our room. Staff is not on sight 24 hours, so if there's a problem, you have to email. It's employees, not family-run, but the young women were conscientious. Breakfast was packaged little biscuits and dry toast, with some fresh whole fruit and toast, cappuccino or tea, and juice. I'm gathering that's typical, but truthfully, I long for eggs and some sausage. The elevator is MINISCULE. That wasn't a problem for us, as our luggage wasn't that large, but it should be noted.
Absolutely wonderful, and in walking distance to Vatican and Trastevere
Staff were wonderful. They tried to accommodate us in every way. Very friendly. Breakfast was fine and provided as advertised.
The lift was broken for our entire stay. Promises to have it repaired were not kept. Seventy -two steep steps up and down with luggage. The photos on booking.com were incorrect. The rooms we booked were not available. Our two couples had to sleep in the same large room. No compensation was made for the error.
Wonderful property, right alongside the entrance to Vatican City - you can indeed see St Peters from the terrace ! Excellent service, especially from Siria, who took a great deal of care to ensure that everything was provided for.
Breakfast could have had some more options.
very nice good location
We really liked the place! The young lady who managed the B&B was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was elegant, the bed good. The terrace is exactly as in the picture and very beautiful. We could use the fridge and the microwave in the kitchen to fix a small afternoon snack. Very helpful. Location near the Vatican is good, almost all sights are in walking distance, but you also have a busstop (Bus 46) in front of the B&B. A bakery and a butcher are next door. We appreciated that we were allowed to leave the luggage in the B&B on our last day and relax on the terrace before our departure to the airport. We absolutely recommend this B&B!
Waterinstallations are loud, especially the toilet, but that´s just a minor point. Of course you hear the traffic, but the nights are reasonably quiet. After all, it is Rome!
We were distressed and did not like this place at all. The “hotel” is located on the third floor of a small building where are some apartments and offices. Upon our arrival we did not find any parking place in the area around to leave the car for the night. Returning later, after dinner, to the streets around the hotel we could not find any parking either. Finally we parked at km further. We did not like the area around, which is quite grey and sad. The advertised « terrace » on the top roof was locked (there is a door with a key there) and the co-workers are in that apartment to help for a limited time during the day (please read the advertisement carefully). The elevator is very tiny and does not indicate the maximum allowed weight and persons, so we preferred to get in and off in two separated groups. We were lodged in a “special” room divided into two layers. The upper layer had a low ceiling I hit with my head three times (I am 180 cm tall). Next to the bed of the penthouse room there was no bed-side table, so that I had to put the lampe-shade on the floor. To switch off the lamp on the wall there was no wall-switch working in the penthouse and I had to go through the darkness until the lower corridor, outside of the room, to switch off it (the wall-switch is on the lower floor, but outside the room). The special bathroom had a Jacuzzi but the electric devices were switched off. Please note that the staff is present in the apartment for a very limited time during the day. If you arrive outside their « working hours » for check-in , they advertise they are coming to the apartment upon a payment (so they wrote us) of 35 euros. We were said to check-out at 10 :30 AM on Saturday.
Perfectly located just at the back of the Basilica, very close to nice Restaurants, Bars and Bistros. Helpful staff and a beautiful room with amazingly high ceilings and outstand comfort. And of course the terrace - breathtaking. Within walking distance of not only the Vaticano, but also the Centro Storico and Trastevere.
Not really close to the Metro (10 min walk), but good other public transport available (Bus, 2 min).
The Staff was very friendly and Ciria was very helpful. Location was good for Vatican City. The facility was warm, cosy and clean.
The location was far away for other parts of Rome. The Quadruple room did not have an attached bath and this was very inconvenient. For 200 Euros per night, I expect an attached bath and fresh towels every other day. But that was not the case. Breakfast was very sparse and limited.
Best manager ever met. Perfect location. Large and nice bathroom. Very good breakfast.
Four person room has no window!! No window at all! Air condtion has not been dimensioned properly, so each five minutes loud fan is pumping intensive stream of cold air. If you can choose take two person or three perosn rooms, they are really fantastic. But not the four person one
this was such a comfortable, serene spot, and the terrace is gorgeous. i highly recommend it!
The lady who welcomed us was really nice and helpful. The appartment is superb, hardwood floors, great furniture and a huge sitting room with many couches. Rooms are cosy and comfortable. We had a large spa tub in the bathroom. The terrace is really nice, even if the view is not great. Breakfast is decent - basic italian, but good to get the energy for the day. It is 400 meters from the Vatican, and about 1 km from the castello san angelo, so walking distance from the city center. Highly recommend. There are 3 rooms - if you hire all three you can have the appartment for yourself.
need to bring your own snack / drinks if you want to hang out on the terrace - need to walk a bit to find a store. You can't use the kitchen, fridge or coffee maker.
Everything was excellent!
good location, very friendly girl from reception
Great location, feel-at-home atmosphere, bakery next door was excellent. Good value for money.
There were road works during the night so it was quite loud.
Great, friendly staff in a clean, well located hotel. Lovely stay.
The hotel was not signposted outside so it took us ages to find it.This needs to be addressed so that guests can find it easily.
