Clean, luxurious bedroom, quite location, efficient staff, tasty breakfast and comfortable. The location is at the top of a hill which means the walk home can be a bit tiring after walking all day!!! |

The rooms were beautiful and the location was very good, the hotel is decorated very tastefully. The meal in the hotels restaurant (sister restaurant round the courner rather) was very poor and extremely overpriced with a dated interior. The mattress was very hard and i woke up with pins and needles in the morning, but i have noticed the beds in Italy are generally harder. |

Front desk was very helpful. Room very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was great and served in a lovely garden. Area both out of the way and close enough. |

The design and decor. Possibly location which was not central but that had an appeal. |

The Aventine Hill location of this hotel, and its physical appearance, make it very appealing. It is very quiet and has a very stylish interior, and shares a restaurant with the Hotel Villa San Pio that is excellent and has a beautiful garden setting. The hotel charged $6 an hour of internet use, which -- given its upscale nature, and the fact that the hotel Villa San Pio, owned by the same company and located next door did not charge for internet use -- made the hotel seem stingy. The mattresses were hard, but then all Italian hotel mattresses seemed hard. |

The calm, the history, the luxury, the scenery, the ease of access to other regions of the city. |

Everything about the hotel was great! Location, rooms, breakfast and having a quiet evening with wine outside either out front or in the rear patio area. |

This is one of the most beautiful hotels I have had the pleasure to stay at! Romantic, very creatively and well designed, calming in a busy city, loved the patio and excellent breakfast. Truly a gem. |

The hotel was quite and relaxing. It was in a very pretty neighborhood. The breakfast was lovely and you could eat outside. The rooms were very clean and nicely decorated. The staff did not provide much assistance with reservations for museums etc. |

The room was lovely, the bathroom was very well appointed for Europe and the staff went out of their way to help us enjoy as much of Rome as we could during our short stay. |

Lovely hotel. I especially liked the position in a quiet part of the city. It was enjoyable to be able to have breakfast in the garden. Not a major point but we could have done with a little more storage space in the room. |

The room we got was beautiful and excellent value for money. The staff were really friendly and helpful and the breakfast was one of the best we've had in a hotel. It was a really special experience, we will stay here when we visit Rome again. |

Its quiet and pretty location. Noises were heard easily in our room: doors slamming, phones ringing, traffic on the street, the front desk clerk talking, etc. |

This is a wonderful hotel ideally situated at the top of the Aventino hill in central Rome. It is restful - just the place to chill out. The staff are friendly and helpful, speaking good English. |

We mainly viewed the sites of rome and with a fifteen minute walk to circus maximus we took the no. 81 bus which took us to the most popular sites .I liked the quietness of the area away from the hustle and bustle of the city ,despite the fact we could access the city so easily. Overall the hotel is excellent, however it would be nice to be greeted by the reception staff as we went about our business. |

Truly lovely hotel; staff could not have been more friendly or helpful. Unusually, for a Roman hotel, it was set in an oasis of calm, withdrawn from the bustle of the city but yet readily accessible. I have been to Rome many times but this is the only hotel to which I would love to return. |

The hotel is lovely. Breakfast was great. Front desk very professional and helpful. Loved the over the top décor of the room and the avventino neighborhood was a perfect location As I've found in most Italian hotels, the mattresses leave much to be desired (as do the pillows). They could take some cues from weston hotels. That's myonly complaint. And to be fair it wasn't the worst bed I've ever slept in in Italy. :) |
