Friendly and professional staff. Quiet and peaceful location in Rome. Well decorated and themed throughout.
We asked to be moved after 2 nights as our room was directly over the bar and reception it was extremely noisy. The staff were very helpful and moved us to a much better room. Both rooms were on the small side.
Location was peaceful. Beautiful terrace. Fantastic breakfast. Because of location, would stay here again.
Bed too hard. Some of the staff were not particularly willing to be of assistance--then again, others were quite helpful. This area was hit or miss. WIFI not available in our room.
Lazy breakfasts in the courtyard, staff made a real effort to make you comfortable. Parking very useful as on street parking was crowded. Jacuzzi bath great after a long day tramping around Rome.
Air conditioning tended to be either too much or not enough, though the staff tried hard to tune it to our tastes. Jacuzzi shower drenched entire bathroom - needs much better shower screens to use this!
Away from the tourist beaten path but very accessible. We were able to find our way to the metro station very quickly. The front desk staff is extremely helpful. Hotel is extremely charming, with a non-commercialized feel. Architecture is very interesting, as it blends old with modern touches. The breakfast was wonderful.
The jacuzzi tub felt a little small
Perfect Location Immediate neighbourhood is like being in Tuscan village Close to Metro , Testavare, Vatican and everything else so taxis are very Reasonable
Can't say anything negative .
Location and the most of your staff are nice help and friendly
Some rooms not baggage holders for 2 people
The room a were very nice and elegant
Location was not the best - nice neighbourhood but on a big hill. Can't walk well so had to take taxis all the time
the staff were wonderful the décor was amazing
lack of available restaurants nearby
The hotel was in a very peaceful location so we had undisturbed sleep, It was also a short walk to Testaccio in the evening for a variety of restaurants. The hotel room was luxurious and comfortable with the most amazing bathroom, a very enjoyable stay.
Very courteous and helpful staff. Very nice continental breakfast each morning.
We enjoyed our stay and the atmosphere at this small, elegant hotel. The neighborhood, located outside the center of Rome, was quiet and safe. Our breakfasts were delicious with an assortment of meats, cheeses, fruit, yogurt and a wide assortment of pastries and cakes. So glad we decided to stay here when in Rome!
Beautiful hotel and the staff have clearly got great pride in their jobs.
We stayed in San Anselmo as an overnight during our travel from Sardinia back to the States. We chose this hotel as it was away from the city center in a more residential setting. It is quite, beautiful and the grounds are a parklike setting. It is also a bit closer to Leonardo DaVinci Airport than city center properties. There are great bistros in walking distance for dinner and the morning brunch was great. The staff handled our transportation to the airport for us without a hitch. It was a great choice.
Our room was directly next to the bar patio area which made getting off to sleep a bit challenging at first.
No tea making in room
everything could not fault hotel an location
The staff were very friendly and helpful. I had a corner room that was large with lots of light and very comfortable. The bathroom had an extra large jacuzzi tub and shower. Lovely garden area for breakfast and evening drinks. Fabulous breakfast!
Internet was sometimes intermittent.
Location is great if you'd like somewhere a bit quieter but walking distance (25 mins) of both Trastevere and Navona. WiFi was excellent. Free SECURED parking was really useful. Room was beautifully decorated and well-maintained. Breakfast one of the best I've had in central Italy. Staff were very accommodating.
The only small criticism is that the parking area is a few metres down the hill from the hotel and requires a remote to open it. The hotel always sent a member of staff with me to open the gate so I could get the car. This is fine but if you're like me and you a) use the car capriciously and b) forget a lot of stuff in the car, it could get a bit laborious.
Loved the location in a quiet leafy residential neighbourhood away from the crowds. Hotel garden was gorgeous, a great place to enjoy the full breakfasts or a late afternoon drink from the bar. Staff were very friendly and helpful.
Room was very small, there was little room to put one's luggage.
free secure car parking beautiful rooms Internet worked perfectly showers with jacuzzi breakfast was wonderful with freshly squeezed orange juice - everything was very tasty and of a great quality shower in the toilet at the ground floor which you could use if you check out at 12 and your flight is late evening, what a brilliant idea!
the room didn't have much light, but the bathroom did; it was a beautiful room though
Warm welcome by staff, great comfort in room, beautiful fresh food for breakfast. A short stroll to the Circus Maximus and the rest of the attractions of Rome but the tranquil location is worth the extra walk. Highly recommended.
We loved the location, if you want to experience a beautiful and peaceful introduction to Rome this is it. Not too far away from the city and a lovely area to stroll around. Hotel is lovely, friendly staff breakfast excellent.
Hotel is beautiful quiet and relaxing oasis a day of sight seeing. Very clean and polite staff that made you feel at home.
A peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre but within easy walking distance. In an up market suburb.
Beautiful decor Staff very friendly very helpful, every need attended to Amazing breakfast Lovely property Quiet Aventine Hill location near Circus Maximus A pleasure
