Peaceful location. Superb service. Beautiful hotel Rooms were good but could have been better equipment ie: british tv channels, coffee making facilties, better provision of music apaprt from the tv - i-Pod dock. Water pressure was not very good for the shower we had to ask them to look at this |

Excellent to be on own Island, and the boat transfer was an excellent free service operated by the hotel. Staff and hotel were both excellent. |

the buffet breakfast was good with options I like such as yoghurt and fresh fruit. I would have also liked whole grain toast or bread but to be fair I didn't see it at any hotel I stayed at in Italy. The breakfast and service was much better than at the Grand Hotel in Siena during the same visit to Italy. Beautiful linen sheets on bed. They gave me the water (lagoon) view which I requested. We had issues with: 1. blocked bathroom sink drain., 2. shower was not working, 3. no sound on CNN network, no newspaper delivered which I would expect in a 5* hotel. |

It was on its own Island out of the way from the busy streets of Venice, so a quiet retreat when we wanted it. The hotel is huge and the bedrooms were awesome (but then we did stay in a suite) as it was hour honeymoon. Boat trip from hotel to St Marks every 20 mins. was a nice touch. Would recommend to anyone for example as a honeymoon location or anniversary. |

Very peaceful and it is nice to escape from the noise and crowds in Venice.The ferry service to and from St marks is excellent. |

The staff politeness, friendliness and attentiveness, the beautiful setting, the quality of the finishes,fittings and fixtures , the boat access to San Marco. Lack of internet access in the rooms. The Maschere Restaurant is not quite sure what it should be..either a specialty restaurant or a more casual restaurant. F+b ptobably should be reworked towards an al freco bistro all day dining with a slightly lower price point. The price structure did not relate to the service and food quality. |

This has to be one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. This combined with the beauty of Venice means that we will certainly be returning. Everything about the hotel was first rate, although not cheap you get what you pay for. |
