Everything. In matter of fact, considering the time, was the pick of the Venice Carnival, the Hotel although not in the city, is located in an island 15 min by "vaporetto/vanette" from the St. Mark Plaza, was full or almost, and the service, was really outstanding. From breakfast to the concierge everything worked above expectations. Not complainning, but just a remark.I don't know if it's due to its isolation, so naturally pushes the costs of products up, as well as creates an opportunity to overcharge items in the facilities of the hotel, so I found a bit expensive all the things that are sold whithin the facilities. From bar, to boutique, etc. |

I loved this hotel. A Lovely castle. Romantic and luxurious with wide rooms and high ceilings compared to other Italian hotels specially in Venice. The shuttle service is excellent and drops you right at San Marco. I consider the hotel being on its own island away from the main land a plus and not a negative point. Ridding a boat (Taxi or Gondolas) is really expensive in Venice. Yet you or your loved one wont feel like you missed out on a boat ride because of the frequent shuttle service. Complementary fruits nuts and chocolates were nicely chosen. Best staff I came across during my trip around Italy and the first to consider our honeymooners status. After the New years celebration we were starving and thought room service would be better than waiting in flooded Venice to find a bite. Of course on the Island at 1:00 am there was no option other than the room service or the minibar. We called and no one picked up then called reception and they told us that room service closes at 1:30 am and they transferred the call to room service and they guy told me the only thing the can send me is toast! I found that insulting to my tummy. |

I travel all the time and this is the best hotel I've stayed in world wide. Amazing experience and just perfect. The staff were so helpful, the hotel and rooms are luxury and the grounds-stunning. The boat ride from the island to St Mark's square is just great. |

Comfort, geographical position, design of the interiors, quality and variety of meals, room view, possibility to go to St.Marco Square every 20 minutes, complementary trip to Isle of Murano, burning candles in the street in the evenings, white rabbit in the territory of the park We left at 5 o'clock in the morning and it's a pity we had to order taxi-boat to get to Rome Square, where we left our car. It would be more in hotel stile to give a transfer there. Besides, coffee on the trolley was nearly cold and there was nothing to eat, though the breakfast for this day was included in the price. |

The staff very attentive, the boat shuttle was excellent and the hotel was beautiful.with amazing facilities. It was very large, and at first seemed too out of the way. It was also not forthcoming with details about specific places to visit |

The location and views were stunning. The place is a nice quiet place to come back to after the busy, crowded areas in Venice. The pool area is good. Yes a few points. 1. The breakfast service was terrible and not up the what you would expect from a 5 star - the food was cold and ran out and we waited for a long time to get coffee and then when it came the order was wrong, 2. as it was a nice suunny day we wanted to sit outside but were told no, eventually we got a table outside but when we went to the buffet to collect food, out table was taken!! 3. we booked a double delux room which was advertised as being 45m2, but it was much smaller around 20m2 and for the price we paid (Euro 425) this was not good value at all. 4. we went for lunch at the pool and had to wait for 35 minutes until someone came to serve us and when they did they got the order wrong. |

The hotel is alone on an island just 7 minutes from Venice, is new, big rooms, there are 2 boats that take and bring you to the Piazza San Marco, swimming pool for the hot hours. Ideal for families, relax, romantic weekend. I travel a lot and this is the best hotel |

The premises are gorgeous and the facilities are very good, especially the pool and the park. Staff is not what you would expect at a 5-star hotel. During our five-day stay in this hotel, we found the concierge and the reception staff at times discourteous or overfamiliar. Elsewhere in the hotel, the level of service was also disappointing. One example: one day we asked for a drink by the pool at 6:30pm. We were told that the pool bar was already closed and although the main bar of the hotel was open, it was not possible to be served by the pool. Finally, our overall impression about the staff we encountered is that they are not dedicated enough. |

We chose St Clemente for our honeymoon destination and it was just perfect. This was our first trip to Venice and had been told it could be a little smelly due to the heat this time of year, (which i must say was not the case, very busy but not smelly) so we decided to stay on the Island St Clemente which is about a 20min water taxi to/from St Marks Sq. The hotel provides a free shuttle service which works very well and runs every 20mins at the busy times so was easy to get to the mainland. The food was very good wherever we ate but really enjoyed our evening dinner in the main resturant. Overall a very good experiance and would visit again. Didn't get the upgrade we had hoped and was disappointed that it was not even mentioned at check in, when the point was raised they needed to check our reservation for the package we had paid for (Passage to Venice Package), however the Junior suite was very good anyway. Could do with and ATM or other cashing facility to save searching the streets of Venice (Alternatively take another 50% more than you would normally expect to spend in cash) |

Private islqnd near venice Italy the entire small island is the hotel and resort. Private hotel launch very convenient to Venice. Very scenic and away from the crowds. Food was really overpriced and not very good and since it is an island there are no other choices but get on the launch and go into venice even if you are tired if you zant to eat |

The quietness in the hotel. it was lovely and calm after the noise of Venice! The hotel staff were very polite and helpful. The Food and Drink were well over priced, bar service was slow and the foood was not up to the standard expected for the prices charged. |

The hotel was very quiet and comfortable. The staff were nice. We asked about the location of the platform of their shuttle boat by an e-mail, however we did not receive any information. Actually, it was very difficult to find the platform at Piazza San Marco. Since our room was near the kitchen, the smell was uncomfortable. The view from the room was not good, we could only see the inner court. |
