The staff very attentive, the boat shuttle was excellent and the hotel was beautiful.with amazing facilities. It was very large, and at first seemed too out of the way. It was also not forthcoming with details about specific places to visit |

The location and views were stunning. The place is a nice quiet place to come back to after the busy, crowded areas in Venice. The pool area is good. Yes a few points. 1. The breakfast service was terrible and not up the what you would expect from a 5 star - the food was cold and ran out and we waited for a long time to get coffee and then when it came the order was wrong, 2. as it was a nice suunny day we wanted to sit outside but were told no, eventually we got a table outside but when we went to the buffet to collect food, out table was taken!! 3. we booked a double delux room which was advertised as being 45m2, but it was much smaller around 20m2 and for the price we paid (Euro 425) this was not good value at all. 4. we went for lunch at the pool and had to wait for 35 minutes until someone came to serve us and when they did they got the order wrong. |

The hotel is alone on an island just 7 minutes from Venice, is new, big rooms, there are 2 boats that take and bring you to the Piazza San Marco, swimming pool for the hot hours. Ideal for families, relax, romantic weekend. I travel a lot and this is the best hotel |

The premises are gorgeous and the facilities are very good, especially the pool and the park. Staff is not what you would expect at a 5-star hotel. During our five-day stay in this hotel, we found the concierge and the reception staff at times discourteous or overfamiliar. Elsewhere in the hotel, the level of service was also disappointing. One example: one day we asked for a drink by the pool at 6:30pm. We were told that the pool bar was already closed and although the main bar of the hotel was open, it was not possible to be served by the pool. Finally, our overall impression about the staff we encountered is that they are not dedicated enough. |

We chose St Clemente for our honeymoon destination and it was just perfect. This was our first trip to Venice and had been told it could be a little smelly due to the heat this time of year, (which i must say was not the case, very busy but not smelly) so we decided to stay on the Island St Clemente which is about a 20min water taxi to/from St Marks Sq. The hotel provides a free shuttle service which works very well and runs every 20mins at the busy times so was easy to get to the mainland. The food was very good wherever we ate but really enjoyed our evening dinner in the main resturant. Overall a very good experiance and would visit again. Didn't get the upgrade we had hoped and was disappointed that it was not even mentioned at check in, when the point was raised they needed to check our reservation for the package we had paid for (Passage to Venice Package), however the Junior suite was very good anyway. Could do with and ATM or other cashing facility to save searching the streets of Venice (Alternatively take another 50% more than you would normally expect to spend in cash) |

Private islqnd near venice Italy the entire small island is the hotel and resort. Private hotel launch very convenient to Venice. Very scenic and away from the crowds. Food was really overpriced and not very good and since it is an island there are no other choices but get on the launch and go into venice even if you are tired if you zant to eat |

The quietness in the hotel. it was lovely and calm after the noise of Venice! The hotel staff were very polite and helpful. The Food and Drink were well over priced, bar service was slow and the foood was not up to the standard expected for the prices charged. |

The hotel was very quiet and comfortable. The staff were nice. We asked about the location of the platform of their shuttle boat by an e-mail, however we did not receive any information. Actually, it was very difficult to find the platform at Piazza San Marco. Since our room was near the kitchen, the smell was uncomfortable. The view from the room was not good, we could only see the inner court. |

The outdoor pool was lovely - particulary as the weather was so warm. Also, the quietness of the hotel and San Clemente island in general were a welcome respite from the madness of Venice. Also loved the hotel shuttle boat to and from St Marks Sq The cost of eating in the hotel restaurants - particularly the poolside restaurant. We often hung out by the pool during the day before heading into Venice and the only place available to eat in the hotel was at the poolside restaurant. 26 euros for a club sandwich - and 4 euros for a glass of milk for my son - is a bit steep - to say the least!!!!!!! |

Hotel is amazing and very grand, lives up to name of being a palace, great to be away from the noise of Venice. Breakfast was lovely in the walled courtyard. Only drawback is the cost! but worth it for a special occasion. |

Excellent location, rooms and service. Perfect retereat for exploring Venice in busy season The hotel is a liitle dull in the the evening and lacks "atmosphere" - we stayed over the Easter weekend and the bar was almost empty whilst prices were adequate |

The staff were fabulous, rooms large and the service to and from San Marco excellent. The beds were hard, and although the restaurant food was good, the meal portions were ridiculously small. |

Everything about the hotel was fabulous. The shuttle boat runs every 20 mins and it is not difficult to catch it at an off-peak time when it runs in 40 min intervals. We missed the shuttle once, and the boat turned back to pick us up! I would definitely recommend getting breakfast included in your rate, as it is top notch. There were no tea/coffee facilities in the room, but this is common practice in continental Europe. |

Please write at least 15 words We enjoyed a peaceful, quiet, wonderful stay. The location is perfect, attentive staff, breakfast great. The gym only opened at 9am - too late to work out before going to town. |
