The fundator of the old town centre was Frederick II of Swabia. Under Swabian, Anjovin and Spanish domination it became the most important town in Calabria and with the most direct contact with Naples.

I don't have something particulary to like. On their website they say than Castiglione Costino Rail Station is 1km away but it is 2.5km away from the hotel. |

Had all the facilities, was modern and clean No tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms. Very necessary after a long journey or first thing in the morning. There was however room service. |

Hotellet ligger i rolige omgivelser og har god internettforbindelse som er gratis. God frokost inkludert i prisen. Hotellpersonalet var behjelpelig til å skaffe skjøteledning som passet til norsk kontakt. God bussforbindelse til Universitetet i Calabria og nær det store kjøpesenteret Metropolis. Det finnes ikke noen gode busskart over Rende/Cosenza, så et godt tips er å ta bybussen U15 som stopper både ved Metropolis, bussholdeplassen nærmest hotellet og busstasjonen i Cosenza. Skal man fra Universitetet i Calabria og tilbake til hotellet, så bør man ta en buss som stopper foreksempel ved Metropolis, som ligger ganske nær hotellet. Hotellrommet var ikke så rent som en kan forvente da vi kom. (Rommene blir likevel rengjordt daglig.) Det hadde vært en fordel om flere av staben kunne snakke engelsk. |

Ho soggiornato in questo hotel per interrompere il viaggio di ritorno nella mia città per cui ho trovato comoda la sua localizzazione, relativamente vicino all'autostrada. La pulizia della stanza era buona. Ogni movimento nel letto provocava rumore da parte della rete per cui il sonno non è stato riposante. Il buffet della colazione può essere molto migliorato. |
