Area information

Cosenza is the most important cultural and economic centre of Calabria. It stands in the Valley of Crati, on the confluence with the Busento river, encircled by hills and mountains.
The fundator of the old town centre was Frederick II of Swabia. Under Swabian, Anjovin and Spanish domination it became the most important town in Calabria and with the most direct contact with Naples.
The sixteenth century witnessed a great cultural flowering partly as the result of the founding of an accademy which is still active today, and to the work of Bernadino Telesio. It was not for nothing referred to as “The Athens of Calabria”.

An excellent value for this hotel suite, is appropriate for one night or extended stay since it has a kitchenette. This is a full service hotel, with restaurant and room service. Very large breakfast buffet. Helpful staff. Ample free parking. I would stay here again; enjoyed my stay with ample space to relax in one room and sleep in another.

Le petit déjeuner bien achalandé.

Il semble que le prix soit moins cher lorsque l'on traite directement avec l'hotel qu'en passant par booking.com. D'autre part l'hotel est assez mal situé dans une zone plutot résidentielle.

Ampio parcheggio gratuito e sempre disponibile, stanze grandi e confortevoli, staff cordiale.

L'hotel non è ubicato a Cosenza, ma in una frazione vicina, Rende, quindi non è molto centrale.
