Offering free WiFi and a terrace, Villa della Fonte is located in Rome's trendy Trastevere neighbourhood.

The Worldhotel Ripa Roma is modern hotel in the popular area of Trastevere, 165 ft from the tram stop to the historic center of Rome.
Score from 782 reviews Good
Designed by Baroque architect Borromini, the Donna Camilla Savelli is a former monastery in Rome's popular Trastevere area. It features a garden, elegant and sober rooms, and free Wi-Fi in the lobby.
Score from 845 reviews Excellent
Just behind Rome's Pantheon, this charming property is in a building that was once home to Giuseppe Garibaldi. It has air-conditioned rooms with LCD TVs and free Wi-Fi.
Score from 388 reviews Very good
Unique feel of the lobby, excellent service, location, fine bathroom
perfect location, good breakfast, nice and clean rooms, kind staff
Excellent location in Trastevere. Friendly staff, good breakfast and a fair price.
The hotel has large rooms, with excelent wifi. The shower is hot and strong and in the restroom we found some bath commodities. The breakfast is very nice. The localization is excellent: near of the restaurants of Trastevere, but far enough os the noise. The staff is quite friendly.
The only point I would say I didn't like is about check-in time: we arrived from Brazil at 10:30 am, but we was allowed to check-in just at 14 pm. I believe they could be more flexible, as we went to Rome out of season (we was ther at January) and the hotel was not full. I would recommend also more attention about the breakfast timetable: it begins at 7am, but until 7:30 it is not complete. On the other hand, if you take breakfast after 9 am, probabily some items had finished.
Very friendly staff - all staff happy to help with typical tourist queries!
Hotel is located outside the city centre but only a short tram ride.
I asked reception lady to help me with little surprise for my wife and she helps me with pleasure. Flowers and chocolate were bought and presented, it really makes our stay in Rome. To the hotel itself: it's our second stay there, so you van guess that we love it. Very cozy and home-made, convenient location, quite area but very close to delicious restaurants and lively night live. Breakfast is plentiful, it's so positive to start you day with hearty meal and don't spent time for food for several hours. Room is convenient, with all amenities. Great place to stay in Rome!
I heard cough in adjacent room, but it didn't bother me.
My son is studing at UARC and was housed right around the corner from the hotel . Lots of good restaurant located in ares. You can walk to the Vatican , Pantheon and Colosseum
Beware of all the people "hawking" goods and services
This was my third visit to Rome and by far the best location. Trastevere is now my favourite area of the city. Cobblestoned narrow lanes with prices nearly half those of the city centre, yet only a ten minute walk away. The hotel has a lovely relaxed atmosphere and the staff are super-friendly. Clean rooms and comfortable beds. Some small wear and tear showing but nothing obvious or off-putting. Fantastic breakfast service.
Wifi signal a bit weak in the rooms but adequate for browsing.
Excellent staff, quiet location, food, All round comfort
Everything was fine!
Very nice, comfortable and clean hotel, good location in Trastevere, near the river Tiber. Close to the Grand Synagogue of Rome and the old Jewish Ghetto. Walking distance from Trevi Fountain, piazza Espania and Via del Corso. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Very good breakfast. Good restaurants around.
Nice neighborhood Cheap Price Nice atmosphere
Noise from the street (even in a back room) and every morning around 6a.m the church bells woke me up Room has only a bed - now other place to sit Shower and tub got clog and water were piling up
Nice location very near the center with many restaurants around and tram n. 8 station, which as the only one goes to the center. The rooms faced to the back (garden) are very quiet (in case the rooms around you are empty) for Rome, where even children are up and in the streets around midnight. Breakfast was good, room small but clean, nice bar on the roof. Good hotel for price under 100 Euro per night for double room including breakfast and tax.
Biggest problem are the walls between the rooms... you not only hear the neighbors from all rooms around, but it feels, that they are in your room. You can hear them breathing... Every morning (7 a.m. and then again each 30 min.) there are bells ringing from very near church (but this you can have in many areas of Rome). Rooms are small and would use some renovation, breakfast area is small and when the hotel is full, there are not enough tables. Conclusion - when the hotel is not fully occupied, it would deserve 9/10, when its full the review would be around 6/10.
So clean and simple Location is fab to reach any place Breakfast lovely Rooftop view Staff friendly and helpful For the price you can't go wrong Amazing food at a small kiosk style shop on Via San Francesco A Ripa, just look out for a group of people gathered inside standing to eat pizza slices, fried zucchini and arancini!
Nothing, this hotel matched our needs.
The staff were amazingly helpful and very polite. The breakfast was delicious.
A nice small size hotel in the quite part of Trastevere, nice and clean but small room, great breakfast.
The staff were friendly and helpful and all spoke good English. The breakfast was comprehensive and varied. The hotel is located near the centre of the Trastavere and within 15 minutes walk of the river. The room was well equipped and quiet. Excellent views from the rooftop bar.
No BBC news or other English speaking news channels on the TV
Roof garden morning and evening, staff - very engaging, and especially helpful making reservations, etc while hotel computer was offline, location-especially after getting familiar with the neighborhood.
Nothing to report. The staff assistance with arrangements made up for the computer being out of commission.
Staff were friendly, and we like the Trastevere neighborhood, so this location is what we wanted.
Our room was very small. With the baby crib and stroller in the room, we could barely navigate around the room. The breakfast was mediocre with only canned fruit and lots of bread items.
The staff were lovely and went out of their way to be helpful. This is the Brooklyn of Rome...a charming, walkable, and interesting neighborhood where the Romans actually outnumber the tourists.
The room was pristine but quite small.
The area, the quietness of the hotel, ease of access to anywhere, we walked everywhere.
we could park our car in front of the hotel
I liked everything, the most important aspect of a hotel other than the room you stay in is the quality of staff that run it, and they were fantastic, from the first moment I stepped in, throughout my stay and to the day I left they were very helpful. They made me feel very welcome and provided me with every piece of information I needed or asked for.
There was no dislike to the hotel of any kind due to the fantastic location of it.
Spotlessly clean very night after the maid cleans. Friendly and caring staff, Alissanza was wonderful. Walk out your door and you are not in the center of tourist insanity but off a side street in wonderful Trastevere old neighbor. A tram drive to the center ancient Rome.
Rooms are small but we loved the view from our corner room and after awhile saw that every care was taken to maximize the space.
The location was fabulous for our needs. Very easy to get to different locations. Each morning we had a nice breakfast. They made sure if you left early breakfast was there for you. Very accommodating. Nice rooftop bar. Staff could not have been nicer. Very clean. Would highly recommend.
