Hotel San Giuan    

Spotlessly clean, comfortable bed with aircon. Staff super friendly and helpful. Hotel 3min walk to beach, and is next to the river; cafes and a few restaurants nearby. Breakfast is average, fresh rolls, croissants, cheese but little choice. Walk into old town takes 20mins.

Staff very friendly. Just across the road from the beach. Short walk to the old town altho there are restaurants close by.

Good choice for breakfast , bedrooms small but extremely clean with a modern feel. Air con is a major plus. Pleasant 20min walk into old town and just across the road to the beach. Would definetely recommend.

Location, budget-friendly, value for money

It was easy to find the hotel and it is close to the beach. The entire hotel is decorated in a simple yet modern style. The rooms were clean and comfortable.

Alghero is a nice city but if you really want to enjoy the beach, it may be better to go during the summer months.

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing. Hotel San Giuan was in a great location, only about a 10 minute walk from Old Town.

Clean, value, location

We stayed 2 nights while on our honeymoon. The location is good. The old town is about a 10min walk along the sea front boardwalk. The staff was great with directions and dinner recommendations. Spoke very good english. The hotel itself is nice and clean but kind of basic. Especially the room. Clean but nothing special. Brown walls, mediocre bathroom, uninspiring. But, not bad either... I'm getting the idea that Alghero might be a tough place to find a good hotel unless you pay a lot...

Although the hotel outlook is a bit cheap, the room was very clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was very good. Walking distance along the seaside to the old city center.

A very nice hotell. Close to the beach and the old city in Alghero. Nice clean rooms, good breakfast. A very good atmosphere and nice, helpful people working there.

I stayed at Hotel San Giuan for 10 nights.The hotel was excellent. Breakfast was very good. If I was to go back to Sardinia I would stay at San Giuan. Thanks to all the staff.

I was happy to go back on this hotel after on year and i was very happy to find the same helping hotel stuff, very clean room and comfort.

Just back from a week at this hotel.We arrived a couple of hours before check in time 14:00 and allowed us to go straight to the room.The room itself was on the second floor with a balcony and sea view,although the room was slightly on the small side it was spotless and the bed was very comfortable.The bathroom was modern with a good powered shower with hot water plentiful morning and night.Breakfast was usaul continental which was fine and the staff at the hotel always helpful.The only thing which could improve the hotel would be if it had a pool or use of a pool nearby.We would recommend this hotel and when visiting Alghero again we would stay here without hesitation.

We have stayed at approximately 40 hotels recently in Italy . The majority have been very good .This hotel San Giuian was very disappointing . The staff at check in we're very rude .

Fantastisch personeel welke niets teveel was en ze waren ten alle tijden bereidt advies te geven. Perfecte kamers welke dagelijks schoon gemaakt werden en dagelijks schone handdoeken is niet eens echt nodig maar we kregen ze wel. Ook de ligging is perfect dicht bij het strand en dicht bij het centrum. Wie erheen gaat maak zeker gebruik van het dakterras. Wij gaan zeker snel terug !!!!!

Helemaal niets, echt niet. Ik reis veel zakelijk door europa maar de service die deze familie biedt kom ik niet snel tegen.

Betten nicht komfortabel. Hellhörig, einfache Holztüren und einfach verglaste Fenster. Personal/Inhaber wirkten etwas lustlos.

accueil sympathique, très bon confort, calme malgré la proximité du port. Proximité de la ville et des restaurants. Petit déjeuner copieux.

er kon geen glimlach af bij het personeel, geluidsisolatie van de kamers was onbestaande, je kon de mensen in de kamer naast je horen praten
