I loved the situation, it was wonderful! The hotel was simple, as I expected and was looking for. The staff was really nice and everything was very comfortable. However, the AC was not working right and that did not help the hot days. Otherwise everything was nice, maybe a bit more expensive than should be, but no major complaints. |

This hotel used to be a very nice one and partially still is (and after the rebuilding will certainly be again). The location is wonderful ,restaurants, shopping around the corner. Till at least 2010 an underground parking is built by the hotel. In some rooms the windows (and the shutters) must stay closed . We got a reduction because of this inconvenience , which was fair. |

The location is excellent in Citta Alta, close to the second funicolare. Public areas of the hotels seems to be renovated. This didn't feel as a four star hotel. We paid extra to get a premium room, which actually is a standard small room with a balcony. The balcony was however quite useless, no furniture at all. The room was also facing a large construction pit wich made terrible noise about 8-17, my guess is that they will not be finished this year. The room was quite weary and the carpet a bit damp. |

Close to the old city of Bergamo, friendly, nice view of the surronding hills No, apart from that they do presently an extention that caused some noice, but it did not really cause any discomfort. |

The location of the hotel - in the heart of the upper city - was by far the most positive feature of the hotel. We could not get the air conditioning to work so it was rather stuffy. Also, there is a building site right outside the hotel - they started (loud) work at 8am! |

staff we very helpful and spoke good english - were very happy to assist with all aspects and queries raised we were surprised to see that there was building work taking place on the hotel site, nothing was mentioned about this on any website - basically work started at around 7.30am and was quite noisy one each of the mornings of our 2 night stay - so not ideal for a lazy lie in !! |

The location is good if you plan to stay in the old town, but the distance between the old town and the new town in Bergamo should not be taken into consideration when selecting a hotel. You can take the bus or the funiculare, and it's not even that far to walk (it's a nice walk!). Big thanks to the receptionist who were on duty the night we had ants visiting. Remove a couple of stars or upgrade. The hotel is overrated and overpriced. Don't go there with children or if you're sensitive to noise or at least ask for a quiet room. What you pay is not what you get. |

The hotel was very convenient for the town but still quiet as it was at the edge of the main area. Easy to walk to all conveniences (shops, restaurants, buses etc). I'd stay there again. The room was on the small side, but we did know this in advance. There is some building work going on there in the car park but this is only temporary. |

Helpful , but quiet and discreet staff. Quiet hotel.Position in Alta Citta, facing mountains and close to restaurants, Duomo etc and walking area from St Vigilio.Door from bedroom to walkway, fresh air and emergency exit .Opening window in bathroom. This is my fourth visit. Although this was unimportant for me, I think some people would appreciate a lounge area. Also unimportant for me but important to others was the lack of hot food at breakfast. |

location...in citta alta a quaint walled city...hotel itself is basic for room sleeping function only...heavy duty garden works currently ongoing..some sort of development either a garden cafe/restaurant development or serious landscaping for summer...work stops at weekends but starts on weekdays..mornings... not real dislikes as kinda did not expect much....spent alot of time out of hotel...only came back for sleep...water pressure for shower is good and bath is good...room basic...breakfast basic. a good base for local visits...near bus stop to train station and airport...handy.A nice touch...umbrellas are provided for guest use as the rain here can go on and on all day long... |

I liked that it was small and personal - and the late breakfast ( until 10 ) . Even that was flexible. it overlooked a building site; these things happen and bergamo appears generally to be undergoing a rebuilding/renovation programme. |

The hotel was easy to find in the dark after getting off the bus from the airport. I had phoned earlier in the day and the gentleman gave me directions from where the bus stops. The location was excellent, on a piazzia just off the main road and there were stunning views from the hotel. Breakfast was good and I must recommend the restaurant next door, Bernabo, very friendly and lovely atmosphere. |

it was well placed for the town and had parking on the second day there were ants crawling in my bed when I got up. we had to ask for compensation as it was not offered- they eventually offered 10 per cent off which was accepted but I was not altogether pleased especially since I had booked three rooms.- not very good. |

Looking over a lovely park, far from the traffic noise, yet just 100 metres from the characteristic funicular leading to Città Alta, this hotel provides the ideal base for your stay in Bergamo. |
Where comfort and elegance combine, this hotel aims to provide every convenience to travellers and is centrally located close to the funicular railway. |
When you stay in this modern 3-star hotel in the lower-city district of Bergamo, you will enjoy free Wi-Fi, free private parking, good service and organic breakfasts. |
Located in the centre of the city, the hotel is within easy walking distance from the shopping area. There is also quick access to the old part of the city, Bergamo Alta. |
