At the moment we stepped in we are greeted by staff who are friendly and are helpful. We ask for where we could have a nice dinner, they rolled out a map and gave us directions and tip not only on where to spend the evening but the rest of our stay.
A free wired internet service inside the room would have made everything excellent but i guess that is asking for too much :)
very nice hotel in all respects
beautiful decor good breakfast excellent location, between station and city center
shady barbershop opposite was a bit creepy at night. hotel itself was great.
All staff very friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. 15 minutes walk to train and bus station. Central location to all tourist sight seeings and restaurants.
Sometimes a bit noisey from side street below room.
Style of the room (301)
only perpendicular illumination in the bathroom
I loved the shower in this hotel- the best in four weeks of travel through three countries. value for money was also terrific, and breakfast was terrific.
Lovely hotel, comfortable, clean, well located, comfortable bed. Good value for money.
The frosty reception when we arrived.
Room was spacious, quiet & comfortable, with every amenity. Especially good was the breakfast with a variety of both sweet & savory selections.
Nothing to complain about.
Efficiency and attention
no issues to report
The location was excellent and the staff were very helpful.
Wifi was not accessible most of the time and there wasn't any tea making facilities.
Even though it was in the town, it was very quiet. Attractions and restaurants within easy walking distance.
Breakfast buffet Reliable wi-fi service Clean rooms Proximity to attractions and supermarket
Nothing- everything was good.
location; good breakfast.
The manager was very rude and not customer-service oriented. I had a booking problem based on a miscommunication by the front desk person. Hotel was very average
Nothing negative to say about this hotel, just a short walk to all must see's. Parking was also great and secure
The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful
A good hotel in a central location - for a reasonable price. In spite of the central location, the room was quiet.
Location for touring the town. Staff helpful.
Noisy, hard to find even with GPS.
The San Luca is in an excellent location, tucked away in a side street yet within a few minutes' walk of Porta Nuova and Piazza Bra. Our room was large and comfortable, quiet at night, and with clean linen daily. Staff were friendly and helpful, and gave good recommendations for restaurants.
Breakfast was adequate but could have offered more choice.
Elegant deco Comfortable and well appointed rooms
Board like pillows
Excellent location, spacious rooms, lovely linens, very clean, large and well lit bathroom, firm bed, gracious hotel maid. Breakfast was good, substantial.Yoghurt, eggs, hams, sweets, cheese, tomatoes, juices, cereals Breakfast room was not bright because of heavy draperies, decor was traditional. Decor, however, is a matter of personal taste. Server at breakfast was a very gracious.
The staff was mot particularly helpful. I do not expect Europeans to be excessively exuberant but most at the desk were reluctant to offer help, or seemed irritated when about to be asked a question. Parking was offered at 25 euros, and a nearby garage charged 16 euros per day.
The location of the hotel was excellent. I travelled alone and went to two operas in the Arena which was a five minute walk away from the hotel. The hotel was also near the railway station - just a ten minute walk.
I could not find fault with the hotel or its staff, but I would have loved to have a kettle in the room for the purpose of making tea. This would have greatly added to my enjoyment of the hotel.
Right next to main plaza and arene. Made for an easy wonderful evening in seeing Aida at the arene. I accidentally reserved a single, they were full, but accommodated us without extra cost.
Parking is shared with next door grocery store and only valid up to checkout, but can be extended by talking to attendant/reduced with 15euro purchase at store.
Helpful reception. Good room with drink making facilities
Lovely room - I was lucky to have a balcony. Breakfasts - good variety and choice. Staff - great service.
