Very large space with kitchen all new great little terrace. Staff fantastic very helpful. Great place.

Good location from old city walls 10 minute walk at the most. Room was very modern compared to some in Italy. Kitchen well equipped and the small balcony was a nice touch.

The people who ran the hotel were very kind and extremely helpful providing a warm friendly atmosphere of genuine friendship. I would not hesitate to go back. Wonderful in this day and age to come across such wonderful hosts. Well equipped spacious and clean modern apartments. So much to recommend.

Very nice and modern room, nicely decorated and very practical also fairly recent (5 years old in 2012), in a very practical set-up, also very clean and on a great location. Perfect if you want to stay in the region for a few days, even up to a week I think. Also very friendly staff, even after we were over 2 hours late for checkout :-)

San Marco Holidays are apartments and after the hustle and bustle of Venice and Rome we were looking for a peaceful place to rest up and Lucca and San Marco apartments were perfect. We were a five minute walk from the gates of the old town and then about another 5 or so minutes from some of the main eating/shopping area of the old town. There was a pool at the apartments (although we didn't use it) and we had a lovely balcony to sit out on. A lovely lady did our laundry for us and charged us hardly anything at all, she even ironed everything for us. There was a kitchen and we made our own breakfast each morning. There are bikes available to use free of charge, just make sure you check that there is air in the tyres before you head off! Lucca is a beautiful city and we had a lovely rest here after 4 weeks of travel with 3 weeks left to go.

When we arrived we were looking forward to a cup of tea however there wasn't a kettle so we had to ask for that the next day. There wasn't a toaster which made it hard to toast bread however we improvised and used the frypan.

Friendly and helpful staff. Nice pool area. Comfortable and nice flat. Balcony.

Colourful modern apartment. Cooking facilities. Free bikes to ride. Located close to the Walled Village of Lucca.

Staff was very helpful and friendly, the swimming pool was nice and the room was very practical and pleasant. It was quiet in a good way and had its own parking. Walking towards the old town only took about 5 min

Location excellent for access to the wall, food, shopping etc. staff very eager to assist and friendly. Fully stocked mini bar was a surprise at reasonable prices! Room small but well planned and was a great change from hotel/ B&B. Small amount of laundry serviced for us which they didn't charge for. We thought that was a lovely touch.

The air conditioning seemed to keep dropping out.

San Marco Holidays was incredible. We had such a great time!! Airco in the room and a pool! Just like 300meters from city walls. There are bikes availeble! The staff? Lovely people!! Service is good if you need anything they will do there best for you!! So we will see you next year!!

Only one thing. For me.. I am pregnant and the bed was way to hard for me.. But the rest was so lovely that it didn't realy matter;)

We loved Lucca, especially the wall! San Marco is well placed for exploring the city, particularly by bike. There is parking available if you have a car. You can hire bikes from the complex at a much cheaper rate than in town. Cycling everywhere was really fun and provided an excellent way to view the city. My 12 year old son and I really enjoyed cycling around the wall. We also used the bikes to get to the station to travel to Pisa (must see). San Marco was clean and the staff helpful and amenable. There was everything we needed for a very pleasant stay. The air conditioning was excellent and you could adjust it to meet your own requirements. There is a small but pleasant pool. We have already recommended San Marco to our friends and would like to go back.

Excellent location. Bakery, Cafe, Bar etc on the doorstep. Short walk to city walls. Very modern, well-equiped units. The pool area is a great bonus and clean towels were available everyday. Staff very friendly and helpful. They really go out of their way to ensure everything is as it should be. Recommend the bike hire as it is a great way to see the beautiful city of Lucca. In particular the tree-lined bike track along the top of the walls is wonderful.

Couldn't fault it. Everything superb and spotless. Great apartment, lots of space and nice, comfortable funishings. Owners very friendly and can't do enough for guests. Lovely pool area with a nice garden and quality furniture.

This hotel just a short walk outside the walls of Lucca was fantastic. It gave us all the advantages of being at Lucca - which is a beautiful town - without the disadvantages of the charming but crumbling plaster and plumbing of the more traditional hotels, plus we had a pool too. The hotel has a very modern, fun, contemporary feel with super bathrooms and well equipped kitchens with fridge. There is a large roof top terrace with views of the surrounding mountains to enjoy a drink or even your evening meal if you don't want to stroll down to the town. There are a couple of small restraunts nearby (one is Chinese - unusual to see in this part of Italy). There are a number of small cafes serving excellent pastries/savouries to enjoy with a fresh latte for breakfast. Stefanio was around for a couple of times a day and was very helpful and although we were only there for 4 nights our room and towels were refreshed after the second night and there were fresh towels every day at the pool so no worries about packing heavy damp towels for your trip home. Overall a great choice for our 25th wedding anniversary!

Het appartement was compleet, zeer schoon op loopafstand van de stadsmuren, goede parkeergelegenheid. Prima facititeiten rond het zwembad en ook daar waren badhanddoeken beschikbaar.Het personeel was erg vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Mocht je iets extra's nodig hebben was dit mogelijk. Alle bezienswaardigheden zijn op loopafstand dus makkelijk bereikbaar. Kortom wij hebben het genoten.

Het enige wat ik gemist heb is een waterkoker in het keukentje.

Posto in ottima posizione per visite della città. Struttura molto nuova con tutti i confort. Gestori veramente molto disponibili, simpatici e gentili. Rapporto qualità prezzo favoloso!

Qualche ospite che manca di educazione e che fa casino di prima mattina.......

Eccellente posizione per visitare Lucca, 10 minuti di passeggiata per arrivare in centro storico, con diversi negozi a pochi passi dall'appartamento. Staff molto cordiale e sempre pronto per qualunque richiesta (ad esempio, fare ripartire il decoder Sky la domenica di Pasqua...), appartamento nuovo e in ottime condizioni, dotato di cucina competa, + forno a microonde, macchina Nespresso (con ampia fornitura di capsule...), moka ecc., tv con SKY, comodo parcheggio interno. Molto comodo anche il ripostiglio. Senz'altro un'ottima soluzione per visitare quella zona della Toscana, considerando che Pisa si trova a mezz'ora di macchina. Senz'altro da consigliare.

Struttura indovinata, abbina la comodità di un albergo con l'indipendenza di un appartamento. In cucina c'è tutto quello che serve, dalla macchinetta per il caffè al microonde. Le finiture sono ottime e la pulizia è corretta. Vicina alle principali vie di comunicazione ma in un quartiere tranquillo nelle ore notturne.

Un po' troppo rumore dal converter del riscaldamento quando attacca di notte, spegnendolo la temperatura cala troppo rapidamente quindi si è costretti a tenerlo acceso ma durante il sonno infastidisce e anche guardando la televisione si è costretti a tenere il volume alto con il ronzio di sottofondo.... Problemi persistenti nella connessione internet, praticamente inutilizzabile.

Direi tutto , personale disponibile e gentile, locale confortevole ed accogliente dotato di tutto l'indispensabile .......consigliatissimo

il monolocale è molto bello e molto funzionale.. è situato in una posizione dalla quale è facile raggiungere il centro città
