Hotel San Marco    

Very helpful young lady on reception. Excellent location, seating area in front of hotel nicely done. Parking.

Wifi, expensive and rubbish. Room was a bit pokey but it was only a single. Italy is so backward when it comes to the Internet.

Good parking, nice lake view, quite, 5 minutes to centre.

Nice place with a good location at Lago di Garda. Walking distance to the centre.

We enjoyed our stay. The room and furniture were comfortable. It was cleaned every day and the towels were changed. There was a tv, a hairdryer and a little fridge. The stuff are very friendly and speak English, German and even tried Russian. We are very grateful for good service.

The most irritating thing during our stay was the construction works going on right beside the hotel. We hate the noise. Also I had terrible pain in the neck because of almost non existent pillows (they are absolutely flat).

I have been twice to Hotel San Marco and definately would love to go there again when traveling to the Veneto region.

Excellent 3 star hotel which is better then many a four star hotels. Fantastic location just by the lake and only 200 metres from the town centre.

Staff very friendly appears to be family run Hotel. Rooms good. Breakfast selection good.Pool was on the small side but met our needs. Close to town centre. We arrived by Train so 7 euro taxi not bad. Ferry terminal just a small walk away and would rec. a trip up the lake. Would book there again

The location was fantastic right on the lake and close to the centre, the pool area is really lovely as well as the upstairs terrace if u want a bit of peace, the staff were extremely polite and helpful and could speak enough English to understand us

Not enough sunbeds on a busy day, didn't really enjoy the breakfast didn't really cater for English, we wasn't expecting a full English but did expect to have a least toast and something warm, we had to ask for a warm fried egg every morning. Bedrooms need updating but were very clean and comfortable

We liked the location next to the Lake and most the friendlines of the staff. We plan to visit San Marco again because of the good atmosphere the management and the staff have created.

As a solo traveller staying for one night guessed I might get a small room with not much of a view and I was right!They have a decent enough single rate whereas many hotels charge double this time of year .pool small but v clean-staff polite.Great hotel for a night or two-for a week you'd need a decent view.

More wardrobe and coat hangers. This seems to be a general problem in hotels.

The cosiness, the friendliness, the small family-run business, the eagerness and the willingness of the staff to satisfy every need, the smile on the face of all employee. Furthermore the location along with the reasonable price. In short, evrything!

They shoul seriously think about putting protective nets on the windows in order to keep the flying insects outside.

Hotel room was very clean and everything inside the room was new and clean. Location was good. We swam in the garda lake and didnt need any pool.

The staff were very helpful and friendly and the seating area looking out to the lake was very good.

The beds were very hard and there were no sun umbrella's and as I burn very easily I had to keep going and sitting in the restaurant area. It would be nice to have sun umbrella's.

Der Lobby- und Poolbereich ist saniert und sehr modern. Das Frühstück einfach aber gut und die Zimmer in Ordnung. Das Hotel war sauber und verügt neben der Terasse am Pool im EG auch im 3. Stock über 2 große Sonnenterassen. Das Personal war sehr sehr freundlich und die Lage ist traumhaft. Direkt am See und nur 3min Spaziergang ins Zentrum von Peschiera. Mit einem Drink von der einfachen Hotelbar und Blick auf den See kann man die Abende wunderschön und ruhig ausklingen lassen.Auch Peschiera hat mir sehr gut gefallen, weil es anders als Lazise/Bardolino etc. weniger überlaufen und sehr günstig und gemütlich ist. Für Kinder kann ich San Marco nicht empfehlen. Allerdings erreicht man das Gardaland von Peschiera in nur 5min (15 mit dem Rad).

Wer Luxus sucht ist in San Marco falsch und mein einziger Mangel am Hotel ist der Föhn im Bad. Im Bad ist leider nur die Dusche saniert, der Föhn ist vergilbt und hat kaum "Föhnkraft".

Sehr nettes deutsch sprechendes Personal an der Rezeption.
