Hotel San Marco  

Die Bett - & Frotteewäsche war tipiop sauber, das Zimmer grosszügig, die Mitarbeiter freundlich & hilfsbereit. Da das Hotel an der Strasse, und in der Nähe des Ospedale liegt, darf man nicht lärmempfindlich sein. gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis.

Ideale Lage, sehr zentral. Frühstück ausreichend, sogar frisches Obst!

Etwas laut, auch ein wenig abgewohnt.

Gute Lage nahe Dom bzw. Ganz nah bei San Marco, Busverbindung zum Bahnhof, aber auch noch gut zu laufen; _sehr_ freundliche, hilfsbereite Mitarbeiter, die Tipps und den kleinen Stadtplan geben auf Italienisch wie Englisch; Frühstück ist über italienischem Standard mit immerhin einer Art Müsli, Joghurt, Obst, ... netter Frühstücksraum. Short-short in English: good place just at San Marco, I.E. less than five walking minutes north of Duomo; proper breakfast in comparison to it general.Really friendly and helpful!

Feuchtigkeit in Treppenhaus (Schimmel?, Zu riechen) und zumindest in meinem Bad (schwarze Punkte zu sehen, doch ohne Geruch); Humid bath at least mine, the black dots might be first traces of fungus - but _not this smell thereof - it was ok, though, all over.

The hotel is 5 minutes walk from central cathedral, taxi parking is close. Railway station Santa Lucia is 15 minutes walk - excellent location

No hot water was available, shower was hardly warm which was quite uncomfortable in January. Walls very thin, I could hear nearly everything my neighbors were speaking.

The location is excellent, price is good and personal is friendly.

The location was excellent. 10 minutes walk from the train station. Right around the corner from San Marco square. You can leave your luggage after you check out at no extra cost. The sheets were clean.

The owner was incredibly rude which would have mostly been funny if the room weren't filthy. There was black mold in the tile grout, scum in the soap dish, dirty streaks on the tiles. I didn't take a shower while I was there and wore flip-flops around the room because the floor was so dirty. The buildings ground floor was almost mideval in it's lack of hygiene and pervasive smell of sewage. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Outstanding hotel, in a wonderful location, just a minute to the Accademia, and only 10 mins. from the train station as well as 5 mins. to the Duomo. Clean rooms with AC. Good Italian breakfast every morning. A great deal for the price. We had room 16, which was wonderful, up on the third floor, roomy and secluded, it kind of felt like a little cabin.

Very friendly and helpful staff, good choice and quantity of breakfast, convenient location, air-con in room. En suite room had roof terrace. Free wi-fi.

Other guests arriving were a bit noisy at night; room was a little bare, but overall nothing much to complain about.

Hotel is value for money, clean rooms, pleasant personell, light breakfast, if you plan just to sleep here it will be good for you

This hotel was very clean. Staff were very kind. Location was very good for sight sing in Firenze.

Hotel was in front of the street ,so slightly noisy.
